- The new images were published on Friday as part of a detailed investigative report by the Sun-Sentinel into the February 14 shooting in Parkland, Florida, in which 17 people died. The report details the incompetence and blunders on the part of the Broward County Sheriff's office and school district that led to a delayed and bungled response to the shooting. Also seen for the first time are heartbreaking photos of students crowded into a hallway responding to a fire alarm, and a chilling image of the bullet damage to hurricane windows that prevented the shooter from firing on first responders.

He went to find an adult. Which is what he should've done. Unfortunately the adult in question was victim Aaron Feis.
I think the student who saw him was probably in shock, terrified, and instead of going up the stairs, left the building. We do not know what he did from there; perhaps he did call the police immediately. But if Cruz told him he'd better leave, and things were about to get messy, obviously he needed to leave. To second guess him, or decide you would have done something different when you weren't there in that moment, is ludicrous.

You assessment is insane. The guy in the blue shirt clearly had an opportunity to disrupt him and he did nothing but save his own self. How can he sleep at night knowing he did nothing when he could have at least tried to stop him. Cruz was involved with the weapon,and it was a perfect opportunity to shove him,tangle him up,wrap him up,yell for help,do a number of things except nothing.

So sad how a country is this divided. Personally i am against private owned guns, but thats how i gree up here in the Netherlands. I dont know how i would feel about them of i lived in the US. Hope stuff like this stops soon and permanent.
The thing with US is that many people have guns, so there is a mentality "if others have guns, perhaps I should get one too, to protect myself and also have something to discuss". We don't have this dilemma because nobody carries gun. I am sure the Americans would be like us if nobody was carrying, or we would be like them if people did carry. At least personally, if I was in US, I would own some gun definitely. It's part of the culture there. But I prefer I am in Greece and not have to.
