The black cadillac is symbolic of being at a crossroads and shes sold her soul for her vice. Its a reference to an old country song about hank Williams his spirit wanders driving a old long black cadillac
I love that this channel brings across such a huge variety of music fans. Lot of learning to be done in the comments section here and you can't say that for many channels on YT.
Yep.. those crossroads go back a long time. In Blues, Robert Johnson talks about "I went down to the crossroads.." where he sold his soul to the devil to be a famous blues man.
The problem is that the real good country music doesn't get as much play on the radio (even the goat of country Chris Stapleton) for some insane reason so people that don't think they like country music will continue believing they don't like it unlike people who do love it and will actively search the good country music out...BUT thanks to you two more people like and appreciate country more than they thought they ever would and the same goes for all genres of music, music in general is more appreciated now that you two are on the scene and by golly I appreciate you two for that
So true. Nashville is a machine that pumps out fre-fab formulaic music to a handful of "stars." And the real problem is that Nashville has a stranglehold on country radio. You can drive across the entire United States and hear the same 5 songs the entire way. Good country- REAL country- is only found these days on streaming services like pandora, etc and youtube. But it is out there!
Lori McKinney My problem with a lot of new country is it sounds like hip hop with a banjo. The newer artists I like are a very small group. I really like Chris Higbee, and Juvenile characteristics. I've met them, and my wife, and Chris's wife talk now, and then. His biggest hits are Write me which he wrote for his wife while she was in Afghanistan, and Angry American which he rereleased on election night while he was playing locally.
patriotcarpet I listen to Upchurch every now, and then. But I'm not really a fan of rap. And like I always say modern country is like hip hop with a banjo.
LordzDominator I’m so glad I ran across this channel! I love rap, country, classic rock, metal 80’s RnB etc. Great place to come together for the love of music! Feeds your soul!💕
I'd say its not universally hated. I in general would never consider myself a fan of country, not in the least. But I'm a rabid fan of Johnny Cash and certain songs like whisky lullaby are certainly in my playlist.
I agree that country music can have a bad rap. Just like some pop radio stations only play low quality music, some country stations do the same and turn off listeners.
Kacey Musgraves wrote Mama's Broken Heart and they really got a kick out of her lyrics when they reacted to Follow Your Arrow so I'd definitely like to see that.
Until you guys started doing country videos I would have said, without doubt, "I don't really like country music." Now... I'm really not so sure anymore. I don't know if I've heard a country song yet on this channel that I didn't like.
Country music is everything... anything by George Strait, Alan Jackson, Travis Tritt, Patsy Cline, Sturgill Simpson, Pistol Annies, Lady A, Darius Rucker... so many
I'd known about Miranda Lambert because my sister is a huge country fan, but I'd never really listened to any of her music. Thanks to you guys, I will be listening to more. Lost in Vegas is an oasis in the desert of close-mindedness, opening ears and freeing minds. I'd like to see you react to Lingus by Snarky Puppy. But you probably already know that by now. ;-)
Stuart Taft I recommend Mamas Broken Heart, and Fastest Girl in Town (watch the video). Also, Pistol Annies (which is a band Miranda is in)- Hell on Heels and Takin Pills.
Just found your channel last week and subscribed. You two are literally the best I've found as you are not only funny but extremely intelligent and know your music. I have seen the other comments and agree that no matter what music someone likes, once they see your video, it changes their way of thinking. That's just badass.......no matter how you look at it. Great job guys, keep it up.
I will have to watch some older videos and read the comments obviously. That just validates that they have respect from the Artists themselves which is super crazy. Wow, thanks for letting me know, that's definitely something I want to check out.
One of the many things I love about your channel is the lyric breakdown. As a musician most of the time I'm distracted by the performance and not the lyrics.
My first time watching y’all. I’m a huge Miranda Lambert fan. Seeing your thoughts on her song and video was awesome because it’s definitely one of the best songs this decade in country music. Good job guys 🙌
Not sure if anyone has said this to you guys or not but I love the intro to your videos. It's simple, the length just right, and the colors make it gorgeous. I can't forget about the music though. It fits perfectly with the clip. I always find myself drawn to it every single time I am watching your reactions. :)
Miranda Lambert getting mad saucy in the whip is crazy lmao take caution when under the influence guys. Miranda got very nice writing if I do say so myself the way she goes about the details and lyricism in the storytelling is really well done. Her voice was also great which complimented and the emotion and tone to her song and the production had a great catchy tune that has replay-ability. Hats off to Miranda Lambert and I really liked this country reaction from you guys Lost In Vegas.
Also for your next country reaction you need to do Cody Jinks. He's still fairly new, so not as many people know about him, but he is very popular here in Texas, and his songs Cast No Stones and Somewhere in the Middle are phenomenal, and I think y'all will appreciate him.
It's crazy how much the breakdowns to the songs help me understand and even enjoy the songs more. I would have never given this song a chance if it weren't for you guys. react to Charles Bradley- Changes (Black Sabbath's cover)
I'm the same way. I'm not a fan of modern country but these guys have opened up my eyes on some of the artists. It's become one of my favorite youtube channels.
I agree, I think you all would really dig this cover. Also, I'm not a big country fan -- this song was pretty good, it had a 70s classic rock feel. This could easily be a fleetwood mac track.
Great reaction. Miranda is literally the most rock n roll artist in the game right now. Seriously. Country music doesn't deserve her. I've ALWAYS loved Vice, but your breakdown of each line made me realize just how great she is. "The Weight Of These Wings" was ROBBED of Grammys.
ALL HAIL THE QUEEN!!!!! I told y'all Miranda was playlist material! Awesome reaction but now you have to do one of her rocked-up bangers ("Gunpowder and Lead" or "Little Red Wagon") So glad you guys liked that.
if i heard this song on the radio i wouldn't think twice about switching the station, but because your break downs and reactions are so good i stuck around, and ended up enjoying it. kudos, deftones - the tempest protest the hero - cest la vie
I'm a fan of country music and have heard this song countless times but hearing you guys break it down made me appreciate the song even more. Keep up the great work fellas!
The only two people that I’ll stop a movie to watch or walk out of a theater for. Lol. Great reactions guys. Appreciate them. Can you guys do a reaction to My Old Man by Zac Brown Band? Thanks again guys. #Freethinkers
You guys have the best reaction videos hands down. A lot of people that do the reaction vids are quick to bash and shut out music simply because of the genre. You guys are open minded and I love seeing your reaction to each and every song.
I've always loved Miranda Lambert. She's always spoke to me and her lyrics are always amazing. She's amazing. She's got a lot of good songs. You guys should definitely check out some more of her stuff! I absolutely love you guys and this channel. I always look forward to your videos. When I get the notifications I always get hyped. I've had a particularly rough couple of days and watching this video immediately lifted my spirits. Thanks so much you guys! Keep it up! 🙌
I really appreciate your honesty. I’m so glad that you chose to do a video on Miranda Lambert. I love her music. I love your thoughts and opinions. Rock on. 🤘🏽
Please please do Led Zeppelin Babe I’m Gonna Leave You, if you haven’t done much Led Zeppelin already. Also, thanks for doing Deftones they are my all time favorite band.
Yes for the love of all that is holy get some Led on here. However I would imagine since Zeppelin has been around so long it would be more of a review then a reaction. Can't go wrong with Kashmir song either. Thanks.
They reviewed Zeppelin's "Achilles Last Stand". RUclips would not let them upload the video, you know how stingy Zeppelin has always been with the rights.
Amazing lyrics. I haven't listened to country for years, but have been reintroducing myself to it on this channel. Miranda and C. Stapleton are blowing me away and I'm late to the party.
Thank you guys for introducing me to this song and this artist. I love your open-mindedness in your music reviews and appreciation of just good music in general. Your insightful analysis of the lyrics and music style also really separates your channel from the other reaction videos I've seen. Just discovered you today and you instantly got another subscriber. Thank you!
Please react to "Heaven" by Kane Brown or "Marry me" by Thomas Rhett. Please these are amassing songs and it is some new modern country artist. If you want older country react to "The Dance" by Garth Brooks or "Check Yes or No" by George Strait. Thanks guys love ya content keep it up!
I think most people can relate. She's not driving the car...not steering meaning she's not in control. Thanks for turning me on to this song guys! I really liked it as well! Besides Miranda Lambert being a hotty she's super talented and I really like her! I'm not a huge country fan but I like country songs that are done well and this one was done very well. I'm happy to see you guys branching out into other genres! Thanks again and keep up the great work!
Lost in Vegas delivers again! I’ve never made a request before, seeings how y’all mix it up proper, I think you’d love The Avett Brothers “Murder In The City”
To me, this is a perfect song. The lyrics are so well written, honest and real. She lives this song and you can here it in the delivery of her beyond incredible vocals. From the ornamental sound effects that keep this from being another traditional country ballad, to the guitar solos, to the backing harmonies, to the low driving beat, the instrumentation is flawless. This is a classic, and it's perfect. Unfortunately, in her life now, Miranda is crawling from another crash as of this week. Really hope she pulls it together and rises above again. We need musicians like her to keep on, and she deserves some peace.
I love how country always paints a relatable picture. in that moment you know exactly what the songwriter was going through. Avett Brothers - Shame or weight of lies.
Interesting. I must say, as a non-country music fan, you guys have opened up my mind to musical possibilities. That was actually very good. I enjoyed how she’s telling a story without it getting too deep. Playlist potential, I’ll be checking into her music. Nice work, guys!
Great video, guys. This is my all time fave song of Miranda's. Love the way you guys break it down. Just wanted to let you know though that those crosses weren't in a cemetery. They're put up on the side of the road to mark the spot where somebody lost their life from a car accident.
Dude! I just stumbled upon y'all the other night and I've been binge watching your country song reactions. This one is my fav so far. Miranda Lambert is an amazing songwriter... Carrying on the "real" country music genre. I'd love to see more reactions of her music. I think you would enjoy Gun Powder and Lead. She's the only true modern country music female singer I listen to. Tin Man is great... A slow song but SO well written.
Hey guys. I've been watching your reviews for a few month and this is my first comment. Love Miranda Lambert (she's a country badass! :) ) and your channel. I like how you are branching out to different genres and keeping it real. Keep up the good work! Always intelligent and entertaining, which is rare these days. Brothers Osborne - It Ain't My Fault music video would be great to react to for another country selection.
Kudos guys- y'all are so entertaining too...What really thrills me is how you get people who just automatically hate country music to give it a chance, and there is some really great country music out there...One thing though, you have to look at the video with the mindset that this was the first song/video she did right after her marriage ended, so a whole lot of the symbolism in the video had to do with that: her waking up after the wreck of her marriage, her having to find something to numb the pain, etc... I'm also pretty sure her getting in the back of the driverless car shows she has no control over her life or what's happening or where she'll end up...thanks guys, y'all are awesome
Hi guys! I just watched this video for the first time and now im going to start watching all of your videos lol!!! But I wanted to say you made me so happy with your review on ML! I love her and her amazing Lyrics. She is so clever and a poet. She is my favorite artist and it made me so happy that you loved her too
The Lord has sent you 2 my way! Stumbled on your channel a few months ago and I'm so happy I did. Love the way you guys dissect and break down all the tracks. I have 55 days free from alcohol today & I never would have heard the message in this song if not for you. Keep making a difference.
I don't know who you two guys are but man your hilarious. Stumbled onto this video watching something else, love Miranda Lambert so had to watch. Man you guys are sooo intuitive and loved the way you broke this song down, what an awesome youtube video . You guys have me smiling from ear to ear
The black cadillac is symbolic of being at a crossroads and shes sold her soul for her vice. Its a reference to an old country song about hank Williams his spirit wanders driving a old long black cadillac

Yep.. those crossroads go back a long time. In Blues, Robert Johnson talks about "I went down to the crossroads.." where he sold his soul to the devil to be a famous blues man.
J Wilson Handmade Knives just seen a movie about that
Holly Mitchell .....Or maybe Robert Johnson so long ago at the Crossroads in MS, Hwy. 61, selling his soul to the devil.
OMG! I didn't even catch that! But u made me step correct! Black Cadillac is exactly that! Metafore on her way to pay the devil his due!
The lyrics are just about as good as it gets. She killed it with this song.
She got in the backseat because the Vice is driving... she's not in control.
Really like you guys reactions...
Danny Eaton Exactly!
Wow. Great observation
Jesus take the wheel?
She is now
The problem is that the real good country music doesn't get as much play on the radio (even the goat of country Chris Stapleton) for some insane reason so people that don't think they like country music will continue believing they don't like it unlike people who do love it and will actively search the good country music out...BUT thanks to you two more people like and appreciate country more than they thought they ever would and the same goes for all genres of music, music in general is more appreciated now that you two are on the scene and by golly I appreciate you two for that

none of your business you aren’t looking hard enough then lol. Ryan upchurch is as good as you can get from all worlds.
patriotcarpet I listen to Upchurch every now, and then. But I'm not really a fan of rap. And like I always say modern country is like hip hop with a banjo.
Im just glad i found an unbiased channel regarding country. It gets too much hate
💯
LordzDominator I’m so glad I ran across this channel! I love rap, country, classic rock, metal 80’s RnB etc. Great place to come together for the love of music! Feeds your soul!💕
I'd say its not universally hated. I in general would never consider myself a fan of country, not in the least. But I'm a rabid fan of Johnny Cash and certain songs like whisky lullaby are certainly in my playlist.
I agree that country music can have a bad rap. Just like some pop radio stations only play low quality music, some country stations do the same and turn off listeners.
@@yarnpower country stations cut down playing female singers to like 20% as well.
Mamas broken heart or gun powder and lead are her famous up beat songs. They’re great too!
Kacey Musgraves wrote Mama's Broken Heart and they really got a kick out of her lyrics when they reacted to Follow Your Arrow so I'd definitely like to see that.
One of my favorites- Mama's Broken Heart
Miranda Lambert is such a talented writer/artist. 😍 She's so damn good with words and imagery.
I loved how they loved her style of writing and her voice and her video 😘😍😘
Miranda is one of the few worth listening too these days
She always kills it. Lyrics that cut to the quick. Vice is by far another level of DAMN SHE CAN SANG
Damn it! You guys have got to stop getting me into types of music that I would not normally get into at all lol. It's consistent!
This channel has got me listening to way more country now, not gonna lie 😅 Great work as usual, mates
💯
Look up some Waylon Jennings buddy
Until you guys started doing country videos I would have said, without doubt, "I don't really like country music." Now... I'm really not so sure anymore. I don't know if I've heard a country song yet on this channel that I didn't like.
Awesome! Our appreciation has grown for the genre as well brotha!
Yeah, I'm leaning towards buying some country music now. lol
check out Tyler Childers,Colter Wall,Margo Price, & Paul Cauthen, all amazing new talent going against the "radio sound"
YES! Some Tyler!
I can list about 40 favorites. :)
Country music is everything... anything by George Strait, Alan Jackson, Travis Tritt, Patsy Cline, Sturgill Simpson, Pistol Annies, Lady A, Darius Rucker... so many
I love that y'all are this excited over this song!!!♥️♥️♥️♥️
One of my favorites!
The girl has the gift of telling a story!!
I'd known about Miranda Lambert because my sister is a huge country fan, but I'd never really listened to any of her music. Thanks to you guys, I will be listening to more. Lost in Vegas is an oasis in the desert of close-mindedness, opening ears and freeing minds.

Miranda Lambert tin man

One of the many things I love about your channel is the lyric breakdown. As a musician most of the time I'm distracted by the performance and not the lyrics.
Yeeeeeees! You finally did a Miranda song. I always love her lyrics and her voice. Thanks guys. Another great one. Loved the breakdown
My first time watching y’all. I’m a huge Miranda Lambert fan. Seeing your thoughts on her song and video was awesome because it’s definitely one of the best songs this decade in country music. Good job guys 🙌

Thank you sir!
Lost In Vegas This ma'am says you're most welcome! 😉
This is one of her best written songs in my opinion ❤️
Once again you guys absolutely kill it...much appreciated. She's a bad woman...and a Great artist !!!
M Porten Blake Shelton was a damm idiot to let her go.
I hear she was a bitch from those that went to school with her. She's a local artist here.
Pug Shorty Why? They're both drunks. Gwen was a Hell of an upgrade.
WhitePony I was just going by looks. lol Had absolutely no idea what the personality was like. I will take your word for it.
React to Miranda’s live performance of “Tin Man” just her and a guitar! And she’s GORGEOUS (always a plus 👌🏻)
Miranda Lambert, "kerosene"! Spectacular
That's a good one👍
Also for your next country reaction you need to do Cody Jinks. He's still fairly new, so not as many people know about him, but he is very popular here in Texas, and his songs Cast No Stones and Somewhere in the Middle are phenomenal, and I think y'all will appreciate him.
LordzDominator Jinks is good.
Cody Jinks is the truth.
Jinks is GOAT
My favorite is I'm Not The Devil
Definitely agree, Cody Jinks is great
Hell on Heels by Pistol Annie🙏🙏🙏
Yes yes yes I forgot about that song.
YES.
I love the realness of country music lyrics. They tell such a real relatable story so often.
Another good review. 👍🏻
Look at Uncle Lucius-Keeping the Wolves Away
It's crazy how much the breakdowns to the songs help me understand and even enjoy the songs more. I would have never given this song a chance if it weren't for you guys.
react to Charles Bradley- Changes (Black Sabbath's cover)
Charles Bradley is amazing!
I'm the same way. I'm not a fan of modern country but these guys have opened up my eyes on some of the artists. It's become one of my favorite youtube channels.
Yes! Preferably the live version one
I agree, I think you all would really dig this cover. Also, I'm not a big country fan -- this song was pretty good, it had a 70s classic rock feel. This could easily be a fleetwood mac track.
Wow... you're right. It does have a Fleetwood Mac sound to it.
Half a decade later this is refreshing, These guys are hitting the numbers with their reviews. Pretty awesome
Tim McGraw - Don't Take The Girl
JW tearjerker
Redrag top too
they already did don't take the girl
Great reaction. Miranda is literally the most rock n roll artist in the game right now. Seriously. Country music doesn't deserve her. I've ALWAYS loved Vice, but your breakdown of each line made me realize just how great she is. "The Weight Of These Wings" was ROBBED of Grammys.
Miranda lambert has a great voice. Glad you guys like her so far. Check out The black keys- little black submarines
Little Black Submarines is like Stairway to Heaven, only its actually a good song.
Tyler Miller i actually like stairway to heaven lol.
Ok, Stairway to Heaven is a great song. Led Zeppelin is 10x the band that the Black Keys will ever think about being in their dreams.
Yeah, it's not really that bad, but it's probably my least favorite of Led Zeppelin's popular songs.
Csmal 1992 i would never claim any band is better then led zepplin. There arguably the best band ever. But i still like the black keys.
ALL HAIL THE QUEEN!!!!! I told y'all Miranda was playlist material! Awesome reaction but now you have to do one of her rocked-up bangers ("Gunpowder and Lead" or "Little Red Wagon")
So glad you guys liked that.
if i heard this song on the radio i wouldn't think twice about switching the station,
but because your break downs and reactions are so good i stuck around, and ended up enjoying it.
kudos,
deftones - the tempest
protest the hero - cest la vie
Thanks for giving it a shot my man!

Slappy McButterballs oh yeah. Love me some Carrie.

Can you guys do a reaction to My Old Man by Zac Brown Band? Thanks again guys. #Freethinkers
My man!
This is her divorce album you guys...my heart was broken and lived for this song, but check out some older songs that are a little more fun.

You guys have the best reaction videos hands down. A lot of people that do the reaction vids are quick to bash and shut out music simply because of the genre. You guys are open minded and I love seeing your reaction to each and every song.
Y’all are the best.

Thanks.
Oh hell yeah, Kashmir is one of my top Led songs.
That's a great choice. I was thinking "Since I've Been Loving You".
They reviewed Zeppelin's "Achilles Last Stand". RUclips would not let them upload the video, you know how stingy Zeppelin has always been with the rights.
Yeah, that's true. That's what they said at the beginning of the Rush - YYZ reaction video.
Love your enthusiasm... Miranda is one of my favourite country artists.
Garth Brooks Friends in low places.
RyanFGNM yes! Or the Dance!
It will be blocked
I love how you break down the video and the lyrics. It's much more than just words out there in music land there is meaning. I'm loving your videos.

Christian Duniver a man after my own heart! Excellent recommendations!
Saw her live last summer in Bangor. This song brought tears to my eyes. Such a raw, emotional song sung by an incredibly talented artist
Y'all should do Stay by Sugarland!
First of all...I LOVE THESE GUYS!! I'm addicted to your channel! Now, I love this song, she is so real.
John Mayer goddammit!!!! HE has some insane songwriting skills. Ray lamontagne - empty or jolene. Bon iver Skinny love.
COMPLETELY forgot about John Mayer! Yes he is an EXCELLENT writer!
John Mayer would be good. I like the album heavier things. pick something that isn't a radio hit and you'll find the real gold.
Dare i say He is has essence of SRV, clapton, bb king and prince.
Love yalls reactions!!!! Miranda has sooooo many great songs to choose from!
She’s a great singer... but more than that she’s a poet!!!
You should react to Ashley Monroe
I think most people can relate. She's not driving the car...not steering meaning she's not in control. Thanks for turning me on to this song guys! I really liked it as well! Besides Miranda Lambert being a hotty she's super talented and I really like her! I'm not a huge country fan but I like country songs that are done well and this one was done very well. I'm happy to see you guys branching out into other genres! Thanks again and keep up the great work!
The avett brothers - the ballad of love and hate
Macon Barham ten thousand words
You guys analysing this song is the most fun thing I watched on YT since A WHILE.
Sup Ryan and George #freethinkers
Lost in Vegas delivers again! I’ve never made a request before, seeings how y’all mix it up proper, I think you’d love The Avett Brothers “Murder In The City”
Iron Maiden - Fear of the dark(live) Its so epic
To me, this is a perfect song. The lyrics are so well written, honest and real. She lives this song and you can here it in the delivery of her beyond incredible vocals. From the ornamental sound effects that keep this from being another traditional country ballad, to the guitar solos, to the backing harmonies, to the low driving beat, the instrumentation is flawless.

I love how country always paints a relatable picture. in that moment you know exactly what the songwriter was going through.
Avett Brothers - Shame or weight of lies.
Haha I just saw your request after I requested Murder In The City. Great thinking alike and yours are both great requests!
Awesome job as usual, guys! If you ever do some more Miranda check out The house that built me, or Automatic.
Martima mcbride concrete angel
Great reaction from both of you. Love miranda songs. She is country music queen
Loretta Lynn & Conway Twitty🙏
I don't have a single Country Music CD in my music collection, but you two do country breakdowns so well. Country might be in my future.
Can you guys please react to Johnny cash version of hurt or his original song ain't no grave of id appreciate it
Chris Wise ya when I first watched it I was in my feelings the whole day thinking about life and shit lol
Interesting. I must say, as a non-country music fan, you guys have opened up my mind to musical possibilities. That was actually very good. I enjoyed how she’s telling a story without it getting too deep. Playlist potential, I’ll be checking into her music. Nice work, guys!
Turtles all the way down - Sturgill Simpson
Great video, guys. This is my all time fave song of Miranda's. Love the way you guys break it down. Just wanted to let you know though that those crosses weren't in a cemetery. They're put up on the side of the road to mark the spot where somebody lost their life from a car accident.
Please listen too zac brown band colder weather
Porcupine tree - Blackest eyes
Or Porcupine Tree - Time Flies
Cool video guys
Know what else is cool?..
Twelve foot ninja
One hand killing
Kudos guys- y'all are so entertaining too...What really thrills me is how you get people who just automatically hate country music to give it a chance, and there is some really great country music out there...One thing though, you have to look at the video with the mindset that this was the first song/video she did right after her marriage ended, so a whole lot of the symbolism in the video had to do with that: her waking up after the wreck of her marriage, her having to find something to numb the pain, etc... I'm also pretty sure her getting in the back of the driverless car shows she has no control over her life or what's happening or where she'll end up...thanks guys, y'all are awesome
Try Waylon Jennings or George Jones
Larry Mccreary waymores blues 👍

Metallica - the day that never comes
The Lord has sent you 2 my way! Stumbled on your channel a few months ago and I'm so happy I did. Love the way you guys dissect and break down all the tracks. I have 55 days free from alcohol today & I never would have heard the message in this song if not for you. Keep making a difference.
Love this song! And really this whole album! 💓 Great lyrics, great music....just relatable! Glad you guys reviewed this, I subscribed.
I don't know who you two guys are but man your hilarious. Stumbled onto this video watching something else, love Miranda Lambert so had to watch. Man you guys are sooo intuitive and loved the way you broke this song down, what an awesome youtube video . You guys have me smiling from ear to ear
