Excellent tutorial! I have a question: I want to record while I'm watching a webinar. The only audio I can get to work is the Mic/Aux. Which means, if my dog barks, or if I'm clicking on my keyboard or whatever, that's all being recorded. I've tried and tried, but can't figure out how to have it record only what's coming OUT of the computer, not what my environment might be producing. When I try to turn off the Mic or decrease the volume for Input, it doesn't record what's coming out either. Help?
I just downloaded OBS and watched your getting started tutorial. WELL DONE. It is perfect, you do a great job showing best practices for beginners. Nice Learning video, however at 26:33, you talk about game capture which works for windows machines, but does not for macs. After further research, the mac client was called syphon client. However after Mac OS version 10.14.0 Mojave, the syphon client no longer worked, and no replacement has been made. So recording gaming on a mac with OBS is not possible.
Great guide. I'm now a subscriber. :) I'd love to see a video specific to using OBS for RUclips only (you did touch on this, however, for beginners it may be easier to follow if focused to YT as opposed to gaming as well)! Thanks so much and keep up the awesome work!!
Wow! This is great. I’m needing to set up 2 - 3 cameras for my product streaming. I make leather handbags an people want me to stream on Twitch and RUclips. For some reason, what shows on my monitor is cut off on the left side of the box I made to show it. How do I get the full view of my monitor in that box? I am sure it is some user error thing but I really hope someone can help me! thanks
Thank you. Very informative. This information and app will help tremendously with the podcast and channel.
Great tutorial. I was able to open up OBS and actually follow along real time on my end.

I need a facial camera, a work area camera to show what I’m doing, and a camera for when I’m sewing on my industrial sewing machines ( which I spend the least time on). Can you suggest anything? Thank you I’m advance.
WOW, Thanks I really needed this. I am so new at this and so far you're the only one that I could find with a really good full tutorial for beginners. Glad I found you!
Very informative video. Answered a lot of questions I had. Definitely will be a new subscriber. Thank you!
Thank you so much for the tutorial! I really enjoyed the background music you used in the beginning of the video? What song is that? And where can I find it. I would love to use it in some of my videos
This program is so incredible. Thank you for making this video
I'm not much into technicals, but I got to understand this well. Thank you and more power!
I can only seem to get a black screen when I try to setup a game record. It shows up with a Red square top left of the box but there is no way to adjust it. Any ideas?
Hi there! Do you have a tutorial for OBS when connecting it to mobile? Would really help :(
Thank you!
Quick question, I plug in my microphone but then for some reason I can't hear the audio of the video I'm watching. Do you know why this is?
Helpful Victor. Well judged in what you showed us and what you left out. Thank you.
Thanks for this excellent video. How can I include the computer MIC in a scene, so it cannot be independent of which scene is being shown?. I want the MIC from the computer running OBS to be part of a scene, not to be available (and working) in all scenes...
Great video - Really got me sorted out for OBS. Thanks
