    It looks to me that crocheting into the back loop makes the front side look better than the other magic potholders I’ve seen! Have to make one to see! Very good instructions! Thanks!

    100% cotton is the best if you use it as a trivet and seta hot dish on. It what works for you

    • @BizzyCrochet
      @BizzyCrochet  10 месяцев назад +1

      Cotton is definitely a great medium! I personally don’t use them as a trivet because the condensation from the heat leave cotton fuzz on my wood tables and ruins them. ☹️

    I crochet tight so I’m trying it in hdc. Hoping it’s still thick.

    • @BizzyCrochet
      @BizzyCrochet  Год назад

      Honestly, I think hdc is going to be a nice thickness because you’ll have the added bulk of the third loop. 🥰 You’ll have to let me know how they turn out!

      I crocheted one with an I hook and one with an H hook. The H hook is better.

    I like a half double crocht in a hotpad do you have something like that. Blair

    • @BizzyCrochet
      @BizzyCrochet  2 года назад +2

      Thank you so much, Blair! I do not have a hdc in a hotpad. But, you could easily change this one into a hdc by starting your beginning chain 2 chains extra, then putting a hdc in the third ch from the hook and proceeding to do hdc’ sin each chain and stitch going around. The principle of the magic square will remain the same. It will still fold in on itself and create your hotpad- just using the taller stitch so it won’t take as long. Hope that helps! 🥰😘

    • @BizzyCrochet
      @BizzyCrochet  2 года назад +1

      Unless you want really thick washcloths, I wouldn’t use this pattern. And you don’t want to use acrylic for washcloths because acrylic is plastic and won’t absorb any water. It’s great for scrubbers, but not anything else. Use 100% cotton for washcloths.
