  • The mikveh-a ceremonial cleansing pool-was used by pius Jews to prepare for something sacred. Jesus took this idea to a whole new level...

I would like to show this in our church. I wish there was a way to contact you to get your permission. Since we broadcast our services on FaceBook, I would need your permission to broadcast it also.

Unless you are born "out of water and spirit" you cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

Clear as mud. I’m still wondering… Just started researching this.

Ask the Holy Spirit to open your eyes to see and give you clarification because it was an extremely clear explanation unless you're not a Bible reader.

I'm sorry but it's not Exodus 33. That chapter speaks nothing of a cleansing or washing or anything like that.

Pretty sure he got the passage wrong. It happens. If you know the correct one, post here. The ones I know are in Numbers 19-21.

So I guess, thinking of what Yeshua said: "You HAVE TO be born again".
To me that means it is necessary for salvation after understanding why. Right?
Q - Is it necessary for salvation?

I know people who were going to be baptized in the water and right when they were about to de dunked by the pastor, demons manifested in them trying to stop them from getting under the water. Pretty safe to say that there's an extremely important reason behind water baptism even if we don't fully understand it.

And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. Mar 16:15-16

I hope that this is all true. But if it is not in the Bible, where is it? I do not think we were told in this video. It is difficult if not impossible to check these kinds of things out and verify them if we are not given sources. And Clayton is right - it is not in Exodus 33.

Have you not heard of history books? Google it, brother. We all have fingers to type. Why expect someone else to do the work for you? The same way others have discovered the information so can you. You just need to want it enough.

@@bluezy710 Oh, yeah... History books. I think I have heard of those. I Googled "how many history books are there?" and the answer came back "... It estimates that there are over 134 million unique history books in existence as of 2016." I will start reading those tonight. And I Google "Mikveh" and got over one million results. I guess I could spend the rest of my life researching this on the million hits on the internet and the 134 million history books, but I have a family to care for and a full-time job to do and many other similar questions. So I thought perhaps someone who had the knowledge would be kind enough to share it with me. I'm not sure what purpose it serves to respond to find out yourself - "Google it, brother."
