What compelled Jesus to walk across the Sea of Galilee in a windstorm? He had good reason, but the people of the region-including His disciples-felt otherwise...
Matthew 17 He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.” We can heal the sick, We can walk on water, We can do the impossible... But because of our little faith we need Jesus to reach out his hand more then anything. We need his mercy!

would love to have been there in person, this is the next best thing...thank you 4 documenting and posting ☺ blessings 2 you and the praise and glory 2 our magnificent king of kings JC!
Your enthusiasm for telling biblical stories is the proper attitude. Those who preach boring sermons can’t possibly believe. The word of God is so amazing.
Luke 18:18-19 And a ruler asked him, "Good Teacher, what must I do to ingerit eternal life?" 19 And Jesus said to him, "Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone.
A literal and symbolical event, meant to be interpreted literally and symbolically. Happens right after He broke the bread, his Body, and then ascended the mountain to pray, the resurrection. Walking on the rough waves means being immune from the enemies attacks. Peter had the faith required until he doubted, he began falling into the rough waters, and Jesus caught him before he fell in. This is a symbol of his second coming and the resurrection of believers.
The sea is so calm and beautiful. You can feel the presence of GOD there. I pray to visit one day. Thank you so much for this video and your ministry. You did a good thing, this was the word I needed in this time, in this place. Rescue me, OH LORD! in jesus name Amen!
I really loved your video, I was there myself this past summer and it was incredible my friend and thank for sharing..I took some awesome vids myself and I have you a like and a sub to see more.
I do-this November's tour is already full, but I will be leading another Israel tour in 2018, No. 26-Dec. 7. I'm also leading a "Footsteps of the Apostles" tour of Greece and Turkey April 9-20, 2018 (www.yoshertours.com/footsteps-tour/). Hope you can come. Blessings!
The reason I watched this video is because I wanted to find out why he walked on the water. If it was to get away from the crowds, as has been suggested, it wasn't made very clear in the video.
I was running at the beach like everyday and I was following the wave to inside and then I don't know how water stopped in front of me and I saw a way a straight line off small wave And then that happened thats the most beautiful scenario I haven't experienced on my entire life it was amazing crows are witnesses of what I'm saying . thanks i just wanetd to share this . my question is if someone else know about this?
$1k for air fair. And if you stay for weeks and want to live comfortably I’d say bring another $1k. I’ve traveled in Israel for only a few thousand. Pretty doable. You have have to want to and know where to go.
A reason that's more convincing for Peter's walking on waters so stormy if snowy mountains as warm terrain nearby Mediterranean sea was that Jesus's same yesteryear's crossing Red seas parting to walking across show Pharoahs army perished alike hoard pigs drowning after Passover leading Freed People whose never in their experience felt a fuller bellies?!
+TIM BRINLEY Even at the ascension the disciples still had the wrong idea, characterized by them asking if He was going to establish the kingdom at that moment. Their vote to fill Judas' place may indicate they wanted forward movement rather than just wait for something promised but uncertain to them (the coming of the Spirit upon them). Looking at Acts, Pentecost seems to be the dividing line in their understanding and message. Hope this helps. Blessings!
Jay McCarl is right!! The dominant view was of a coming “Mashiach Ben David” (or great warrior king) who would arise and set Israel free of the yoke of Gentile oppression. Instead the people of Yeshua (Jesus’) day got a “Mashiach Ben Yosef” (or suffering servant). The Jews today still hold to a view of two Mashiachs, not understanding both are literally reflections of the first and second coming of Jesus (with the King of Kings coming in the end of age to defeat the anti-christ, false prophet and his armies).
I don’t think it’s necessary for us to all walk on water. At the time though it was a beautiful scene to have witnessed and pass along in the Holy Bible for us to have more faith in him. 🙌🏻
Jesus said that a little seed of faith is enough to move a mountain, then why hasn't anyone done that? Why hasn't anyone been able to walk on water since Jesus did? Didn't Jesus say that we have the same power as him when we have the holy ghost within us?
The answers is found below. Here's a more important question: How good are you? Will you make it to Heaven when you die? Here's the "good" test (be brutally honest): How many lies have you told in your life? Ever stolen anything (regardless of its value)? Ever used God's name in vain? Jesus said, "Whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has committed adultery with her in his heart." If you have done these things, God sees you as a lying, thieving, blasphemous adulterer at heart, and the Bible warns that one day He will punish you in a terrible place called Hell. But He is not willing that any should perish. Sinners broke God's Law and Jesus paid their fine by suffering and dying on a cross. This means He can legally dismiss their case: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." Then Jesus rose from the dead, defeating death. Hundreds saw Him after His resurrection; it's no fairy tale. Jesus fulfilled all the prophecies about the promised Savior, written in the Holy Scriptures centuries before His birth. Today, repent and trust in Jesus, and God will grant you forgiveness and eternal life as a free gift. Then to show your gratitude, be sure to read the Bible daily, join a Christian church, and be baptized. Have questions? Visit NeedGod.com.
I respect Jesus but he walked on water and I run on water! I know this sounds fun and for all readers they are not going to believe it but I'm not lying I really run on water how I do that I don't know I just know that I can I found a lot of guers things on the ocean waves that I cannot explain it. my question is if someone else know about this .?? 😲
anybody can walk over the water there, it's very shallow with gobble stones, and than suddenly it's very deep, where the Jesus-ships with tourists pass by... And if I'm correct Petrus fell in the water... I walked on the water, the side Jesus was walking, simple comme bonjour, they made a whole story around it but everyone who has stood in the water there knows Jesus' "secret". You don't need Dan Brown for this one...

Read Job 9:8 in the Old Testament: He alone spreads out the heavens, And treads on the waves of the sea.
Yes. 100.
I would love visit The Sea
Jesus appeared like a thriller scene to them under a full moon
And not with a subtiele voice he asked them " why did you doubt"
Here is a man of true faith.
Yes
indeed

I've watched this twice and I still don't know why Jesus walked on the water.
Jesus walked on water because the crowd wanted to force Him to become king at that time. Naturally, it wasn't time for that yet.
@@kathierouse5306 If the video is about why Jesus walked on the water, then dontcha think he should cover that in the video?

Yes, you can take medication for it.
My name is Jesse dehart keep me on your prayer forgot to keep me healthy and safe
So... Why did Jesus walk on water...?
Jesus walked on water because the crowd wanted to force Him to become king at that time. It wasn't time for that.
@@kathierouse5306 Maybe the creator of the video should answer, instead.
I would love to visit this place. How much does one need to travel from America and view these parts? 😌

13:58 that made me laugh because it’s so true.
Why did Jesus walk on water? Job 9:8 I think He was saying something?
And Genesis 1:2. The Spirit of God hovered over the water. Jesus fulfilled over 350 OT prophesies including this one.
The sand was tooo hot?

Because hilarious was that episode of feeding Multitudes by disciples a few remaining foods yet their Carry bags were filled to brims way back...
3:07 Video started
How many people walk on water like Peter did. !!!!?????
Niece video with scripture, Thanks.
I wish to travel to this land where Jesus walked as a man
Even the disciples until Pentecost? Or until His ascension?

Jesus walked on water because he didn't know how to swim
So you have money to travel.
So why can't we walk on water now? And why did only Peter try? Are we all of little faith?
I don’t think it’s necessary for us to all walk on water. At the time though it was a beautiful scene to have witnessed and pass along in the Holy Bible for us to have more faith in him. 🙌🏻
