I don't know how you forgave your parents for that. My parents sent me to a hospital which only made everything worse which still impacts me to this day and I disowned them for it. I haven't spoken to them in 10+ years.
My mom wanted to put me in a mental hospital because of how crippling my depression was and I was scared so I just forced myself to go to school even though I couldn't stop crying

Don’t you’ll regret it I’m more traumatized from the hospital than what I was actually going through it felt like a permanent hell of a jail with no comfort makeing you feel worse making you do things and control you i literally get flash backs and watch these videos crying 3 years later it was HELl on earth

My mom is currently in a 72 hour psych hold. They won't give me any further information at the hospital. Lying, saying that she's no longer a patient there. I don't know what to do. She has Schizophrenia, usually she's fine on her own. But when my older brother starts bothering (he also has Schizophrenia) her with his episodes. It can get out of control. I tried everything to help both of them. No matter how many times I help her kick him out. She always let him stay with her again. I'm just at a loss..

Thankyou for sharing your story. I’ve gone through like all the mental health stuff too . I’ve never been hospitalized though but ... ya . I think it’s important to share like that’s strong girl . Also some therapists I agree that you just don’t vibe with. this one I had blamed everything on my mom and only focused on that . But thankfully I’ve found better help. Also on a positive note I loved your “ I see a bunny “ voice ❤️

ryanm I’m doing well. Still battling a lot of mental health issues and am currently working with a therapist, healing takes time and a lot has changed but I’m working on me :)

i was admitted to a psychiatric hospital when my dad died . i could not handle it and tried to take my own life . doctors said i would be in for one night but they kept me in for six weeks and still know i am still am suffering from severe depression and self harm . but cant see know one because of covid

I hate how they take your phone, how are you able to tell people that you are in the hospital?? I remember the one time I was there this one woman said that her husband didn’t even know where she was. They basically kidnap you.

I have depression and anxiety and PTSD I almost went into one I was bullied in high school and elementary school and I’m autistic I was addicted to self harm I attempted suicide I was eighteen I couldn’t go on my phone I don’t trust certain people anymore but now there’s more problems and I went to the hospital and there was a nurse that was in the room and I remember I had to go to the bathroom and some one would come in same with me I was crying a lot I was still in school

Speaking of Orange Is The New Black: they (the hospital security guard) made me squat and cough naked like Piper when she entered jail. So unnecessary. (My dad forced me into a mental hospital).

The thing I understand. the suicidal problem is them not taking any responsibility for your actions. I'm not saying your wrong. But but a lot of being in the hospital is finding where you need to take responsibility and what you need help with.
That is pretty funny that AFTER the hospital visit you thought about suicide. It's almost as though they purposely put that idea in your mind. They're not even good at connecting with people but only do their work by the books which is so unnatural.
Today, over the past 48 hours multiple unrelated psychiatric discharge patients have taken their lives, I wonder why?
The best mental help I've ever received was from parapsychological services including psychics, mediums and the like. Only visiting top rating ones in my area.

My First time in a mental hospital was for about 3 weeks ( I avreed on going) after the 3 weeks I was done with it and didn't want to go. I made an agreement to go "dagklinisch" ( going from monday to friday to therapy and school until 2:15 Pm) My mom found My notebook and laxatives and told My "counselor" from therapy and I refused to go Back to therapy. Now there is a request for court to get me Forced hospitalized for atleast 6 months Or more in a closed fecility ( Where you are not allowed to go on the street Or out of the building basically etc..) and then I'm going to another fecility for girls Who are sexual traumarized for I don't know How long. :/

Im 14 and I have no one to talk to. I've self harmed since i was 11 and I've planned but never attempted suicide 48 times. I dont tell anyone about it because i have shitty parents who wouldnt understand/ say its for attention and im supposed to be happy. I want to be admitted because i think its the only way i can get help at this point. please help.
My mom bought me a diary. I knew she meant for me I write down my feelings to check if I was really okay. Women never saw a thing.
They also tried stopping me smoking except I went outside later on and I caught covid then kicked me out
Omg the first time I went to a mental hospital after I took my shower I always got dress out in my room with my door shut of course cause well the bathroom floor was always extremely wet and the techs always had to check on you in the shower and lmao the dude knocked but didn’t even wait for me to respond he knocked then immediately walked right in and yeah he saw everything I literally almost cried🤣💀

Whether the psych hospital helps is up to you. I'm always put off when people complain about conditions or that they can't have their phone. "Very invasive"...You made multiple suicide attempts you said yourself. They are not going to be liable for your death. I hope if you find yourself in the situation again you take advantage of whatever help is available. Young folks so surprised the psych hospital isn't specially tailored to them. Smh
Jeanine Petty first of all I hadn’t made a single suicide attempt prior to my hospitalization, I made 3 suicide attempts after my hospitalization. Their goal was not to help me, I don’t expect them to cater to my specific needs nor do any other “young folk” all we ask for is to be treated like human beings k thanks.
