My auntie has 2 airflow exhaust fans in her house and they have white blades and are very good. One of them is the same size as yours and the other one is small
Yeah like I said something with the bearings messed up. The motor was also really rusty. You’ll see it at another point tho I’m Not going to throw it out
If Bunnings is your only option, do for heller or click. Don’t go for deta or hpm or ventair. If you can go to an electrical wholesaler and get a Clipsal airflow, they will sell you them.
Thanks for the quick reply. We had Airflow ones. They are a bit noisy I guess. Clipsal is available near my place in Melbourne. Do they have bush or ball bearings??
@@JS50108 they have bush bearings, and will usually last 8-10 years before they start going noisy. You can clean the bushings out with wd-40 and follow it up with some chainsaw oil or sewing machine oil which may take care of the noise.
I wouldn’t know, I’m not over there. It’s an Australian fan by an Australian company. I don’t know if you have Clipsal over there. I would say the only way to get one over there would be to find someone who will ship one over there.
Yes but at the time of filming this video I wasn’t. You don’t need to be an electrician to change an exhaust fan tho. It’s just a plug , as shown in the vifeo
Very well done! Perfect quality! I’m thoroughly impressed on how quickly you were able to complete the process
Thanks mate.. This video helped me decide to buy a Clipsal as well as helped me in the installation. Cheers.
Nice video, Great job. Theres a 200mm Lenco Exhaust fan from the 1980s? That I am looking at removing, This video was very helpful
Thanks mate, I was struggling to get the cover off, your video helped 😊
Thanks mate big help and very straightforward.just replace mine after watching your video cheers
Perfect video! Really enjoyed it.

This one is the smaller size.
I like your Australian circular exhaust fans
Good video, that hpm has done well, they barley ever last that long especially that style 2. Good choice with the new fan

Ah yeah
I have him style 2 still going strong in my house since 2007
You have earned a new sub! You make good content!
Thanks mate! I’m guessing you’ve looked some of my other videos? 😋
@@willpower3544 yeah I looked through your videos.
you forget to keep dust cover duct, dust will devour your attic mate...
Do you know Where to you get the duct cone that goes on top of the exhaust fan? great vid btw
Easy to understand.

Simple and Straight Forward video. Thanks mate. How about Deta brand at Bunnings in 2024??

It says Deta expels 450 cubic meter air but clipsal expels 358 per minute ???
Thanks. I tried with spray grease but it’s still noisy. It was installed in 2008.
These HPM style 2 exhaust fans are terrible but the other ones are good. That one looks disgusting especially the cover.
you can get clipsal at bunnings
no. you can only get rubbish at bunnings. I got this from MIW.
Ur other channel??
Put some RGB fans.
Thank you. Good demo.
But how do you wire the fan to the power.
Do you have to get a sparky in for that?
They just plug in there’s a socket in the roof. I show it in the video
@@willpower3544 I suppose I'll have to get up in the roof cavity and see if there's a power point up there. I doubt it.
It was an airflow
what?
@@willpower3544 The new fan.
@@tyelowe4663 yes i said that its a clipsal airflow.
what are the other fans in the house
I don’t live in the house anymore. It had two other exhaust fans both Ventair and a stainless steel ceiling fan outside.
@@willpower3544 have you moved into the new place BYW what does a ventair looklile
@@perthtransportguyz not yet there will be videos. There’s other videos on my channel.
