I will keep my SL63 but if I wanted a convertible with balls and comfortably fits 4 adults then absolutely this would be a sweet ride.
Remove Before Race is it a reliable daily driver ? I put at least 10k a year.

Hands down one of the nicest cars to ever exist. I would probably take the coupe over the cabriolet but... they're both stunning.
I would usually say the Coupé looks better than the Cabriolet but when you showed the shot of the Cabriolet with top down it looked slightly better maybe it’s the spec🤔😁, however if I could spec a S63 Cabriolet I would get Selenite Grey Metallic, the night package, Red brake calipers, and the Designó crystal grey/black nappa leather interior, with the black top😁

This truly is my dream car, I always been a BMW man until I bought my wife a merc 250cdi sport Cab, ever since driving her’s i look at no other cars the same way, I cant imagine her car plus that AMG sound with the roof down, crazy. Well done on your channel man, appreciate the reviews from a user prospective, and from someone that appreciates those tones.

I spent one whole day with this car, for work. I'm not allowed to give the details. I'm just going to say that I barely said goodbye from it when the time came. Remarkable piece of engineering, design and technology. I can't take any car seriously anymore after experiencing this.

There's just something about big coupes that I love. They're such a limited, low-profile thing because of the luxury quality, but on the other hand it means manufacturers can give them everything they have in stock - the most elegant bodies, the most powerful engines, the best styling and enough leather and style to drown in. It's a shame this car isn't available with 4MATIC in the UK, but with this engine it doesn't matter - at least in the summer.
Both the cabriolet and the coupe have their own 'feel', and both are the longest, most elegant two-doors I know. It's a shame the coupe won't be renewed along with the saloon, but I'm sure Mercedes will keep making them in this architecture for a while yet.
A thing I've noticed about the different Panamericana grilles AMG use is that the way the corners curve seems to show how the car is expected to behave. The downturned snarling mouth of the GT R characterises its anger and ferocity, because it has big shoes to fill - lots of track performance, dynamism and focus. But the S63's looks more like a great wide grin - characterising its pleasure and sheer lunatism, shouting that nothing can stand up to it with the same levels of luxury and madness.

Bit late to the party, but I agree about the top-opening control placement. I have this car. The Mercedes engineers did a fantastic job creating a system strong enough to allow opening/closing up to 40mph, which let's us put the top back up as we are pulling into our destination and before parking. But they buried the controls in the center console, which is a distraction (from driving focus) and hassle - especially when you consider that dropping the top is the whole reason for this particular model... all of that said, this is still a truly sublime car. Insane build quality and materials, and ridiculous power and handling for a car this elegant.

I purchased a 2015 s63 coupe. I loved it. But i always wanted a cabriolet. But when i purchased the coupe, a cab was no where as they weren’t making one. 3 years later i saw the cab and i fell in love. The electronics were enhanced. Not only that but they made the car with a more aggressive grill. Its time to trade the coupe.
I can’t wait. I will be receiving my 2019 s63 in January.
AMG has such a great lineup right now. Absolutely loving what they're doing, can't wait to see what they do with their future V8 Hybrid '73' powertrains.

Well done , a good objective review
A two tone option such as that offered by the Corvette C8 with contrast stitching and contrast color seat belts would make a lot of sense in this convertible. (That's what we call them.) Dynamic seats combine with the dynamic engine and even a Cab can go around corners. Massage, heat, cooling fan. Not only a physiotherapist by even a psychotherapist at least as far as creature comforts are concerned. The perfumes I can do without as I'm kind of allergic to that type of thing. Use of that luxury would actually make me physically sick. Thank you Mercedes!

Your bang on with the black interior, personally I prefer the ivory, would have also been nice if the window trim had been black and a nice set of yellow calipers. Great video though
A bit misleading, when in comfort you weren’t pressing on the accelerator hence why there wasn’t any noise, however every time you went into race you did. This car still makes noise in comfort

Who would complain about anything on a near $200,000 Car!? I would be more than happy and grateful to drive such a powerful and beautiful luxurious vehicle.
Tbh the black interior looks good on that car with the chrome all over the interior.
I'd buy this over a Dawn and probably over a Bentley conv.

I would liked to have seen tbe entire action of the roof coming down, then focus on the speakers later.
First I wanted the e63s cuz of dmo dj after researching I wanted a gt63s after checking my next door neighbours car but I didn’t want just to be in race all the time I wanna cruse more in comfort S class e500 was it but it wasn’t exciting enough the s Cabriolet dose all 3 ranges to high level This is the one and I’m gonna make it happen

Raz, you’re absolutely right about the coal hole black interior! This is a cost saving. They make more cars with black interiors and send them out as standard. The idea is customers who want a car from stock, will take it without complaining. It really annoys me. Why not just go with a dark or mid brown as the standard? It really annoys me, more than you. It’s the same with low specced cars! Why buy a car and skimp on the spec?

Hi great review do you think this being the last of its type will hold there value? Can’t seem to find one they seem incredibly rare. How rare are these?
switched to the 4.0 from the 5.5 compared to last year model. the 5.5 is getting dropped and the 4.0 will be going into the new SL models also. SL43 SL53 will be V6, SL 63 and rumoured SL73 will have the 4.0 or possibly still the V12 in the SL73 model.. Still some unknowns regarding this. SL will also get soft top from what I have seen.

I have a 2020 e53 cab, the only option it doesn’t have was the Track Pace. At only a $250 option, I’m wondering if it’s something that can be updated/programmed into a car that came w out it. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Correct me if im wrong, but i thought that the S cabriolet (amg or not) doesn’t have the Magic body control and curve control!!
Those two are only reseved for s65 and s650

Why aren't people making any videos on the S65 coupe or sedan facelift
The thing is, how many people actually care about the S65? I love V12 engines too, but the V8 is: much cheaper, just as powerful, much faster, lighter and still sounds great. The only reason to go for the V12 is the smoother/better ride quality and perhaps sound..... that's it.

Cab looks better I’m buying a 2018 E400 Cab very soon. Similar specs but either red or blue interior with the AMG package. Next S class the price is just crazy

Maybe it’s just me but I like better the coupe. Great review! It is a flagship and you can tell.. any comparison with C or E class is just irrelevant .. but hey .. that’s 2 times more expensive starting at £100k!
