    I never comment on youtube, but with all the negativity online I wanted to counter that, and compliment you on an awesome review. For unscripted, while driving commentary and review I think your among the best in the business and getting better all the time. So many automotive you tubers are painful to watch that I rarely make it through, and some of the bigger budget stuff is so scripted I don't feel like I'm getting a complete and honest review. Anyways, keep doing what you do, we appreciate it.

    I’m late with this, but I wanted to thank you. After originally seeing your review of the S63 Cab two years ago, I went hunting. Took your advice on depreciation and found an 18 month old car with 5000 miles for $120000. It might as well have been brand new, but 100K less. It has been the most amazing car I’ve ever owned. Big thanks for your review

    • @Trashed6
      @Trashed6 7 лет назад +18

      If you need to have someone define "Hard work" for you then you have probably never worked hard. Matt and the smoking tire crew spend alot of time making sure we get 4 one takes a week. There is alot more going on then just filming there cars. And all of this to produce content that i believe dont make much of a profit. This is one form of hard work.

      Sebastian Lindenthal Yes, Brabus is the most exclusive one but I've seen some of them driving S63 AMGs, maybe it's because of the economical difficulties felt around the whole world or I don't know, but since I while AMGs are good enough for them. I got a chance to spend some time with the S63 AMG Coupe so time ago and it really left me speechless. At the time I was driving a lot of luxury and exotic cars for work and like Matt, I didn't want to give it back. If the car I'd driven had been convertible, I would have felt even worse about handing it back. Those dynamic seats are just incredible, the magic body control, the adaptive cruise with emergency braking, those screens, the Swarovski crystals... I don't know... Mercedes have set the bar so high with this car, everything else just seems mundane afterwards. Great review.

    @TheSmokingTire I did over 1000 miles in the new E class in 1 day a mostly on motorway I can't praise enough the merc advance cruise control. You need to learn how to use it to your advantage. It takes time to get it right but once you do it is so rewarding. I did constant 160km/h day/night, rain/dry without any problem. You just put one hand on the steering wheel and once in a while you shake it little bit, not enough it will affect your direction but enough the system know you still hold the wheel. Some time you need put some input when lines are not clear etc, but after while you will learn to predict when the car will need your help or when not. The car did 99% of steering for me for whole journey. It was amazing experience.

      Actually it's much better than VTec because it is continuously variable, and backed up by two snails. VTec is OldTec.

    I love this car but the coupe with it's huge moon roof is enough sky for me. When you take the top off you lose all of those beautiful lines the coupe had. It looks like a longer C Class convertible whereas the coupe has distinction.

      NikoBell12 oh man I pulled up next to a C class convertible with the AMG styling pack, and it was shockingly close. From more than 50 feet away the two cars are all but identical. That bugged me. Then I turned the massage seat back on and forgot.

    The irony of the hard work comment is that the more likely somebody is able to afford this, the less they actually work. If they're smart, they have suckers like us do the work for them!!

    Just want to add my 2 cents worth, i really enjoyed your narration, the driving, covering the features, and your qualified opinions..All in the right amounts. Just subscribed ! So tired of those youngins with balls yet to fall, attempt to do a car review with a language that only a teen can relate to and excessive time focussed on the shinny bits of the car.. Well done to you !

    Hey Matt, I just thought of a cool idea for TheSmokingTire videos; I don't know the car used for the start up sound in the intro animation, and thought it would be cool if every video had a different engine start up sound. And we all had to guess the engine/car ..just because. haha Probably a lot of work, but would be awesome. :)

    Beautiful and awesome car, however I can't help but think about how expensive all the fancy tech is going to be to fix when it eventually breaks years down the line. Getting a fully functioning, used luxury car is going to be even more of a pain in the ass in the future. Would love to have that s63 though
