Speaking of the same, did Merc share with you their physician list and listed conditions that are included with the color spectrum. 2 simple appointments and - WOW that car is a FULL SEND.
Yuri and Jakub. Additional thoughts. 1. Consider the S class as a brand unto itself, as it's buyers do. When asked what car they own, many will just say an S-class and may even leave out any additional designation.
2. Tan/lighter tops will quickly become stained. Those I have seen, will show small and larger creases not apparent in the darker color, thus aging more aggressively. Both outcomes occur despite the best storage habits while loosing the essential flexibility driving the car. They can only be minimized when the car is driven top-down and is always under-cover. A nightmare then; no rain or parking the car near traffic -this is the reason why you never see them. White/blue top always a classic combo too. Lighter interior colors equal cooler seats and interior temps.
Jakub spec. The flowing lines trim is beautiful, but Yuri's idea of a fish tank/screen is pretty awesome.

Jakub nailed it on the 'flowing lines' trim but his spec is not outrageous.
The surprise was the Yuri spec, which was bold and risky (exterior color combo and interior trim) and definitely a special order because it would never be on the lot....ANYWHERE! Bravo to both of you for being able to express what makes all cars unique.

Pops seems like a fad to be honest. We're at peak pop. Does a focus RS suit pops? Yes. Does an s-class cabriolet suit pops? No. It's supposed to be refined not a rally car imo.

I have owned many different model cars. What I can tell you is that the S Cabriolet is the greatest car that I have ever owned. I have a 2017 S550. It's incredible.

Owing 2 white cars and one sparkle blue car, the white looks cleaner longer, it actually hides the dust and water spots better. :)

I saw one of these in person in a parking lot the other day. White with brown interior and the piano black stripe panels. I was mesmerized, and Mercedes usually aren't my thing.
Hallo we have at home the previous S500 cabrio ( with the 4.7l V8 in it) and our spec is green at the outside, black top, brown interior and also the black pianolak flowing lines and I have to say this looks really great what we don't have is the AMG pack but it is supernice how she is now, and guyz nice video and nice review!
Very complete review, too bad this car is not in my budget at the moment, but I would buy Jakubs spec. White interior is just good for the showroom. Liked the shots of the details and the flow of the review, pacing, editing and talking just came together. How you manage to record good sound driving with the top down and those rolling shots is beyond me. This must be a lot of work. Nice new outro but I did not really got the joke. May someone explain that?

Im 25, and I would love this car. Love sports cars, love convertibles, hate convertible sports cars. However, this is a giant luxury cruiser, so convertible all the way.
Best spec for Mercedes are Black Napa Leather and dark Carbon Fibre trim. Looks so aggressive and classy. If you go black on the outside, then you need to go everything black. With the alloys black, the exhaust pipes black. I’m British and love this show! You guys are brilliant. Keep it up!
Dark Burgundy interior on black body looks more luxurious than black & black :IMO .. gives an extra feature but wd be nice to see the “beast” that you describe 😅 should deserves an aka before getting on board .., 😅

I just found this video while researching my "midlife reward car". Great review! Y'all asked what would make a young person want to own this car? I just turned 40 but planning to buy the S63 AMG version of this in this next couple of years. My reason: I want something luxurious and way out of my league but sporty and way too fast. I see too many "old" people buying corvettes, mustangs, challengers and sport cars (trying to live young), but they all drive so slow, why bothering buying that at all? I want something I can take the wife out on date nights and drive nutty on the weekends. This kids love driving with the top down when I take them out.
These MBs last very long if you maintain them, so my goal would be to keep it for the next 25 years when I am able to retire at 65. My dad's 2003 E class still looks like brand new. I don't want to be seen as that old guy with a sports car, or that young guy living out a teenage dream. I want to be someone who can be rewarded mid-career and enjoy it while I'm still young! Plus waiting for a used one about 5 years off drops that MSRP by half into the range of today's normal car.
My grandmother had a white car with a red top and red leather interior...It was a 1989 Thunderbird SC that never went faster than 35mph--as I suspect most of these Mercs won't. :)

Went to watch the E Class MB launch video and I can't find it! - Another great video from you two! Congrats on the growth of over 200K subs in less than a year! - But that exhaust note on this car makes me cringe! It's like running a piece of chalk on a metal gate. 11:48 , am I the only one who disagrees with Jakub about the wheels? I love this particular wheels. I think it is perfectly sized and curved inwards and looks metal solid.
I'm 21, and yes, I'll take this over a GT convertible.
Why?
1. This looks better.
2. It's more practical.
3. The roads in my country is bad, so this will give me an advantage.
4. There are lots of GTs in our country but barely any S Coupes. This car is special, and I think the GT is overrated. But that's just my opinion.

A muted exhaust in a luxury coupe isn't a huge deal, but being a convertible you're going to be exposed to the exhaust noise more often and this thing kinda sounds like a sport tractor.
Unless I come into a surprise cash influx, not going to buy, but I'm in early 60s and this car would appeal-it's strictly about comfort and security for me now (so no SL63 convertible for me). Interesting that you like this better than the S class sedan you drove in "Tronna." Convertibles would only make sense in southern Ontario or B.C. I can tell you're both much more relaxed as you drive this - the car does this to you. Mercedes knows your heart beats slower - by design. Agree the 20" wheels are sexier and factory wheels are the only way to go but 19 tires are much cheaper. You must know the same model in a hardtop is also very rare and beautiful. It's like choosing between an SLS gull wing or the SLS rag top. Gull wing for sure makes the most sense (and is worth more $ used). Hardtop makes a lot of sense with the optional full glass roof in driving in multiple climates. It was available in a beautiful dark cherry red. We in Canada seem to get the boring combos. and the Americans steal the nice specs but I agree the red top on a white body makes more sense, but with black interior always in a convertible to hide the dirt/dust. Flowing lines can't be beat also as a trim level. That jade green is often paired with the toffee color leather like deer skin - just beautiful, and also rare. A 2020 Grey with black interior one (S560 cabriolet) was on special with no options for $175 K new Cdn in my area. Not much call for these, but also not often seen.

Jakub spec cause bright red interiors inside neutral coloured exteriors are great and the interior flowing lines wood looks perfect.
The S and E Cabriolet are the best mercedes for sale at the moment.
Fast and uber luxurious.
Would get with a light red soft top and red/light brown / champagne interieur. And in this champagner exterieur colour.

Love the channel and your reviews guys. I'd like to suggest adding polls to your vids for example: would you prefer the S cabriolet or the bmw 6 convertible. The interaction would engage users more and add to the appeal.
It seems like lower price range vids are extremely popular, maybe add new segments like comparing a bunch of budget cars as they are selling in droves and would attract new viewers.

Fast as my E39 M5, rides as smooth as my Alpina B7, drop top aero is better than my Porsche 911. May be the perfect GT cruiser. Cockpit is lavish and seats are incredible.

Jakub’s interior spec is identical to mine. On the exterior i’d choose the selenite Grey (matte or Metallic) and in a dream world a set of the Maybach wheels!! P.S. is it possible to purchase those and have MB install them?

Another great review. Mercedes should have manufactured this cabriolet luxury sedan years ago. They should had something at the peak of the auto splurging years (pre ‘08 housing crash years) as a Rolls Royce contender. Perhaps (then) as a Maybach, a cheaper version of their (former) Landaulet. Gotta vote for Jakub's spec. I'm not usually for flashy / loud interiors (more on that in a sec), but this car, it suits it. I drive a '16 328 ix, and it's black on the exterior and interior as well. I think it gives it a sporty look and I think Beemers look good in black. But I do have the silver piano line across the dash on the passenger side, so a little class I'd like to think haha.
Anyways, would love to be a passenger in this thing...closest I've gotten to it is my uncle's S550 Edition 1 sedan. Those massages though.....*Homer voice* mmmmmmmm, simulated stone massage

That is one beautiful car. I thought the rear seats would be more spacious seeing how big that car is, though. If I could afford an S-class I would go for the sedan, but I would be wishing I had the cabrio.
I know this video is over a year old now, but wanted to answer the question they asked because not too many people have. At age 31 I purchased an Mercedes SL63. The long story short of why I picked that over some other, better cars that are close is price is because there is a Mercedes dealer where I live and no Bentley, Ferrari, Labmo, etc. These cars need a lot of service and the thought of trucking my car 600+ miles for an oil change or worse was unworkable. I wouldn't consider it a mistake purchase, but I would not repeat it. The car was incredible but Mercedes started to ignore it and it shows. For what is supposed to be one of the flagship models, it has the worst technology of the entire line up. I'll never understand why the A and C class cars get the upgraded infotainment, while the $200k+ cars are still using tech from 15-20 years ago.
