@@davey_gravy It’s like if I had an opinion on the newest lawn mower from John Deere, I could make a video on it, I’m allowed to have an opinion, but people in the comments wouldn’t consider it a credible opinion. This is what i’m gathering from what others are saying. You seem to be directing this video to absolute beginners, which is ok, but where it looks like you lose some people is that the video is directing people to outright avoid the camera, then you really talk about a couple of reasons the camera might not be for everyone.
I am still waiting the new Fuji X100VI , you could set the camera to capture lower megapixels if you want small storage and rest to higher when you want to print it 🤗
Haha, I did exactly this. However, just to remind other readers that the 23mm f1.4 is the same focal length to the X100VI's 35mm-equivalent focal length!
You will change your mind once you own it. I have and it’s great. It’s better than the X100V in every sense. Better low light due to ibis. Hand held SS 0.5 seconds- no problem, more cropping power due to almost double the MP density, great noise performance. Up to 6.2 K 10 bit 4:2:2. Very light and the only camera of its kind for the money. No camera makes you a better photographer. Only practice and 100s of thousands of pictures do.
Love that! I would love to try out a X-T5, they look so fun to use. My next video is on why you need the X100VI. I think it’s fair to talk about both sides
@@davey_gravy That's fair / cool, lol. 50mm is my fav focal length, 40mm is my new fav.. 35mm is just too wide for me or, I probably woulda got a 100VI..
No offense dude, but what exactly was the point of this video? It's 5 minutes of waffle with no conclusive point. And before you say "I need to make content to stay relevant". Sure, but it makes you a content farm, and people like me, who want new info will simply click "never recommend channel again".
I hear you, and no offence taken. I'm experimenting with a different style of video. If you check out my other videos, this is very different. Experimenting publicly is difficult because everyone is watching and judging.
So why should we avoid the x100VI? You haven't tried it. It's the most popular camera today. It's hard to come by. Not hearing any arguments why it should be avoided.
@@davey_gravy Did you? The conclusion you reached is that you want one but are on a wait list, and there are other options like previous versions of the X100. That doesn't sound like a camera you should avoid, but more like a camera that you should get your hands on if you can.
@@bloodymarvelous4790 I think we can all agree that the action proposed in the title was not sufficiently argued and supported in the content of this video.
@@davey_gravy you do you buddy. Just know that a lav mic is meant to be used a certain way. Holding between your fingers isn't it. I just find it interesting that you are making a video telling people what kind of camera hardware they should and shouldn't use while the entire time holding a mic in between your fingers that's isn't meant to be.
Doesn't have it, tells you to avoid it, proceeds to tell you he has in fact ordered one.
How else will I test it if I don’t use it?
@@davey_gravygee idk, maybe you could just reserve your opinions and clickbait until you’ve actually touched the camera.
I can't have an opinion?
@@alphapapa4446 seriously. This is basically a classic contrarian video using a popular topic in an attempt to get views.

Thats a great point! I don't know if you can change the size of the Raw images, but you can definitely change the size of the jpegs it pumps out.
@@davey_gravy you could compress the size as well 🤗
As a previous X100T user, I always wanted just a bit more resolution. The X100V is likely the sweet spot for this series.
I agree with you. I think the 40mp on the X100VI will be great for pro, but normal consumers will not like it because of the size of the images
Buy an XT-5 with the 18mm f1.4 deal with it’s larger size, have your mind blown and never look back.

Oh come on give this guy a break! Let’s be real everybody is binging on X100VI content while they wait for theirs to arrive 😂😂
This guy did a review on a camera he doesn't physically have. Classic.

@malimish Sorry! I didn’t know I was dealing with a sound authority! I thought I was allowed to be creative online. I forgot there’s rules.
Glad I went with the Leica q3
