    great job , the half life of retinol binding protein is 12 hr. not 12 day so it makes RBP the most specific lab test for nutritional assess

    Ascites is associated with kwashiorkor, not marasmus. Both are severe forms of protein energy malnutrition, but the abdominal swelling is pathognomic for kwashiorkor. Great video though.

    Thanks for the video. It would be better if there was no background music though. IMO it is distracting and sounds weird when I speed up the video. Secondly, something I was reading in my assigned textbook about the use of upper arm/triceps diameter. However, I noticed this was not mentioned in your video. What is your input on the use of the triceps diameter for assessing nutritional status? Thanks. :)
