I never heard of Swiss Tech before a few months ago. I’m really impressed by the quality at a low price. I have the Stalhern and it’s been double tough and for the price you aren’t afraid to put it through the paces. I just ordered one of the new Swiss tech fixed blade called the Kraftig and I’m excited to use it. I have my eye on the smaller neck knife sized fixed blade.
Surprisingly this knife is damn near bomb proof, so many people have tried to break or fail the knife and it just kept going, ill be grabbing one myself.
I was surprised that this knife was the first knife I’ve ever came out of the box shave sharp. It’s actually a very nice knife that feels well in the hand and works well
Thanks for the review. I agree that it will handle light bushcraft. The one thing I've come to not like is the sheath. That belt clip is darn near worthless.
That tip will hold up better than most cause of the belly shape, and the grind all meet at one point . Unless someone does an abuse test and bends the tip in ways that we never would, it will be a great knife. This knife is actually an awesome deal...Makes one a bit sad considering 4+ years ago, the Prodigy was $42 at Walmart. Aus 8 is excellent for a woods knife.
the only issue i have with it is the belly. i feel like if they gave it more of a belly it'd be more useful (and easier to sharpen since i suck at it 😂)

I have actually placed this knife in my pack as my back up fixed blade. I do think it is a good blade.

heck yeah man, thank you for that information!
When you split the wood, turn it upside down and hit the wood while resting the knife on your chopping block. Much easier
Thank you for the tip
Good Job! The only thing I’m not syre of is the clip and it’s questionable, to me, longevity. Still bought one though.
I have to agree with you, that clip is suspect
@ i’m thinking either a Civivi / Terzuola T- clip or making a leather sheath
@@Tusk2001 Let me know how it works out, I might do the same thing
