- Here is the ending of kh2fm on critical mode level 1. This is every form Xemnas has. I also included the secret endings. The first secret ending can be unlocked by simply beating the game on critical mode (there are other ways to do it on other difficulties that I'm not aware of). The other ending requires you to beat the game after you get the gold crown for Sora. I had to mute most of the song for part of the ending because of copyright issues. For anyone who just wants to see the fights, I'll leave a timestamp for all of them below

Teaming up with Riku, after the rivalry in KH1, after searching for him for all of KH2, is still one of the coolest things in all of gaming.

Isaac Matthews you mean the fights where you team up with Riku? Those are 2 of the harder fights in the KBGY imo, the Roxas one is you not even needing to play, the Marluxia and Larxene one is a decent fight and the Vanitas+Terranort can be annoying because of one or the other sniping you lol but it’s otherwise good, but the triple nort and xigbar+riku fight are the toughest two to me lol

When you know the whole story of Roxas from Days and you heard the line from Sora telling Xemnas that Nobodies can't feel. It broke my heart.
The reason why sora said that is because I think that KNEW that roxas had a heart even though he was a nobody and nobodies can’t feel...but roxas had TRUE emotions and could feel it’s only a theory...but please don’t hate on me

I loved KH 3 just as much as KH 2, And while I do feel like Scala Ed Callem could’ve been expanded on, I think that Scala Ed Callum was not meant to be explored because there was already a ton of stuff to do. Maybe if a final mix for KH 3 comes out, they might add in a bunch of new things. But right now, I’m happy with how KH 3 turned out, and I loved how it teased at a KH 4 to keep me excited for another great game. But the KH 2 Final boss fight was incredible, despite what anyone else says.

QUick reflexes, yo. That's why I use fighting games to help my fingers.
Kingdom hearts has the characters do cool things when you do QTEs so it doesn't bother you that much. Plus the games are kinda notorious for its difficulty so the QTE isn't that much of a help with bosses anyway.

I think casual fans played it on easy or normal mode and found the QTE coupled with the AI made it too...well, obviously easy. Proud Mode and Critical Mode are quite unforgiving to quick time button mashers..believe, me I got my ass handed to me multiple times trying that.
I’m glad they included the part where Sora asks Xemnas if he remembers what it was like to have a heart. It’s like he remembered what Saix said to him in Twilight Town about how they remember what it was like before they became nobodies.
When you hit a joint while playing Kingdom Hearts and you question the light and the darkness too.

People say that we put too much expectation in KH3. But here is something they don't understand. We love this series, we want the best from it.
KH2FM gave us the best the series has giving us and is considered one of the best games ever. So you can understand that we are hoping for something to top it's story, music, content. KH3 came out 6 years later and managed to give us less. But not only give us less, but also ruin what had been there as well such as Twilight Town and can't forget, Kairi. We were all hyped for this game and we got less.
And if you still think we're always get dissapointed with everything. Then explain why DMC5 exceeded expectations and not only made the fans happy, but also other game goers too. Why did RDR2 exceeded expectations. Why did GOW5 exceed expectations. Becouse they not only gave us a good game. But gave us more. KH3 did not. And that's why we can't accept this as the finale of the Xheonort saga. That's why were dissapointed.

He is now his own legend who has not only accepted his father's power but surpassed it. Nero's DT was foreshadowed since DMC4 and now he not only has his human arm back but he has full mastery of his demon powers.

This fight is the perfect example of how important music is in KH. “Darkness of the Unknown” perfectly captures the tone of each phase of the fight. On the first note of Phase 3, you know it’s the finale.
KH3’s final boss would have been much more impressive and memorable if it had music of this quality. Without a true final boss theme, it just felt hollow. For me, it was the biggest disappointment of all in KH3.

Tbh the music of the final boss for kh3 wasn't my taste. I prefer a much different arrangement (like with xemnas final boss themes) but with hints of other tracks from the game. Kk3 xehanort's final theme was just a mashup of rage awakened, destati, etc BUT it makes sense because all the other final bosses were his nobody/heartless/past self. Maybe if there was one more phase (like the FINAL FINAL fight), they could have added a new OST for xehanort.
Side note- I love scala ad caelum battle theme and yozora's boss theme thoo!

As much as I LOVED the KH3 final boss, I gotta say it does not lay a finger on this one. I thought it was just my nostalgia but upon viewing this video there’s just a certain feel to it that I like better.

Totally agree with you guys. Even tho Master Xehanort is technically the original, Xemnas was far more menacing and intimidating. Plus fighting with Riku by your side made this final boss more memorable than with Donald and Goofy 24/7.
The final battle of Kh3 should've been Sora, Riku and Kairi. Or everyone vs fucking Master Xehanort with in game cinematics like this one.

Kh2 is easy for this, the magic is op with magnet and reflect which is why it's duable mid to late game. Stitch also blocks many attacks and refills mp for spam. Sora has some op moves in kh2. Has area canceling counterattack too.
I remember i got to the last stage as a kid and it was like midnight, way too late for a kid and i kept begging to continue, but then my ps2 crashed and just never worked again

Words can’t describe the way this game and this fight make you feel. It’s absolutely perfect, the voice acting, the music, the build up to the fight and the fight itself. Since I was a kid, I’ve never played any other game that comes close to this game in terms of pure emotion and spectacle. It’s such a shame they couldn’t make kh3 this good… it doesn’t even come close

Yes but in the khbbs secret ending, we see a scene where Aqua meets Ansem the Wise who ends up in the Dark Margin after his machine exploded in kh2, and he tells her about Sora who is so much like her. So unless she got norted in the short amount of time between the machine exploding and Sora and Riku ending up there, I'd say it was a whole lot of bad luck.

The point is that a relatively athletic 14 yearold (first game) gained a mystical item because of his heart and the connections he can and does make, and the blade responds by giving him incredible power. So if you envision a giant wave of magic in the form of an invisible air slash, it makes much more sense. So sora no, key yes. ;)
battousaicrescent I’m gonna call you out, the keyblade is a strong weapon, but it’s never said to physically enhance the user to this level, if that were so then kh1 sora should have been way more powerful. Also, sora pulls off tons of athletic moves that hint he himself is strong, just look at how high he jumped just to reach the building, and he did it incredibly fast, in a blink. We didn’t even see him move that much through the building. Not to mention when he Ran up a building and back flipped off of it. You’re telling me that the keyblade makes his legs strong too. No I don’t believe so, human limits in the real world are way lower than in kh2, if sora lost the keyblade he’d really only lose his ability to easily banish heartless and unlock locked crap, as well as the other magic abilities, but his physical strength is his own.
I legit love the idea that Xemnas was like "Yeah these guys who just killed all my subordinates and destroyed my kingdom hearts, they're gonna totally want to get more hearts for me right now."

One small touch I just noticed is that after Rikku aggravated his leg injury he actually started dragging his leg instead of just limping.
I love this game and the small details.

I've finished Kingdom Hearts II for the first time now since 9 years of fighting (first was on PS2 where I couldn't get to the end 'cause I sold it and now I finished it on PC with Emulator). All I can say is 'wow' to this game. Please holy KH III be as good as your father.

What kind of processor do you have? I'd like to do so as well. I downloaded a pap emulator for bbs and in runs smoothly but I don't know if my PC can handle ps2 emulator.

I still remember the part when Xemnas says things during one of the sequences like “Riku are you not jealous of Sora?” Xemnas is still trying to turn them against eachother even up to the end but they never once hesitate
God it's so good. Seeing as how Sora and Riku being stranded on a beach with discolored water after an insane and apocalyptic climax is likely taken from Neon Genesis Evangelion, I like to imagine something similar happens in Evangelion. After the ending, after Shinji gets off of Asuka and stops crying after a few minutes, she sits up and they just talk, finally open and honest after so long, until those who wanted to come back started to rematerialize from the LCL.

When RIKU and SORA team up ultimate power and then riku says I’ll use it all in the end ahhh I love this part so much in the game. The music also omg 😍😭.
I still remember how the loading between the phases took longer, definitelly the best part of this remaster is how faster the game loads compared to the old PS2 game.

ONE OF THE BEST FINAL BOSSES EVER. You FINALLY team up with Riku after EVERYTHING that happens in Kh1 to defeat the mother flipping grand daddy of darkness.. and THAT COREGRAPHY during the fight cut scenes, Sora dual weilding both keyblades, the music, and the part where you deflect the lasers.. AMAZING.
A final battle staged on attacking a huge, overly elaborate starship.
A villain in a black cloak boasting and waxing lyrical about the power of darkness, anger and hate.
Said villain wielding blades of red light, and throwing chunks of buildings at our heroes only for them to be cut to pieces with ease by the heroes own blades.
Something seems seems familiar about all this...
Disney was telling us the future without breaking copyright but now nothing can hold them back...

It actually make sense for it to had ended here. Everything is closed. The Sora gang is back. The worlds are fixed. Everyone’s happy. But if it wasn’t for the logic of Bald man coming back because his heartless and nobody was destroyed. Still good thing we get new games tho?
I have always believed that this was the true ending as well. Birth by sleep , ddd ,bbs a fragmentory passage , kh3 to me was an expansion to kh2 kinda like an alternate universe

It takes longer at lvl 1 because you actually do less damage. While leveling doesn't increase the damage you do by much, it still does slightly with boosts and abilities and such. You can make up for it mostly with AP boosts, DEF boosts, and such. And theres also items you can equip. But Isbell a lot to type and I'm bored now lol, but you get it by now probably ^~^

I remember beating this when I was a kid and this game is still my favorite game
I laughed at 34:45 and shortly after it, they finished the final moment in the last battle as: Sora calling out to Riku, perhaps to signal his bro that he intended to “got it!”; but instead, Riku just yells “Out of my way!”, and swoops right up to Xemnas before Sora could move, dealing the final blow. I know it was just an activation of their combined limit, Final End, but the coding gave Riku the bump in starting the attack👍🏻 that was awesome 😎

Final Xemnas has got to be my favorite boss of all time. The music is awesome, and the fight itself has challenge and is cinematically just amazing.
Xemnas: go forth, and bring me more hearts.

So incredible one of my favorite fights and endings ever actually as I finished this my cat died and this game and series has taken on new meaning for me due to the messages of it about never forgetting and your memories I see this as a sign of God. First game I clapped and cried at the end of.
one of the absolute most easiest final bosses i've played against in any video game, but still one of the most memorable and cinematic.
