As a professional car and bike mechanic. I have to say, it's very hard to fault this video.
The Gs 500 has the same valve set up as the GS. 550, 750, 850 1000.If I remember correctly. But was Different on the GSX four-valve models. Good video and thanks for posting it. My best to you from a windy Scotland.

Also when u use this kind of airbox do you need to jet it diffirently or just screw in the air screws on the crab more?

I'm in the market for a gs500e. What will 1500-2000 get me? I can do the basic maintenance but I don't want a real sh1tbox
i just bought a very good condition gs500e 2000 for 1900 bucks all in all i spent about 2200 with helmet dmv shit and insurance and ive had a wreck in a car. i think you can find a real decent one for 2000
I love this turorial but i think i will let it be done by a motorshop cause if i make some mistake my motor will break i guess hehe. Anyway love gs500e (L)
