Hey everyone! Thank you for your patience, unfortunately we had a monumental tech failure last week, which meant (for the first time in over a year) we missed the regular cadence as it was a real pain to sort - problem solved, here we are, hope you enjoy!

I lost too much weight while training for ultramarathons a couple of years ago, its not easy to maintain. This video has made it quite clear I was under eating after the huge long runs. Trying to gain some weight back now with a more hybrid approach to training. Cheers!

This video came at a funny time as it arrived on the same day as a Body Builder who competed in the Olympia did a full day of eating. What I find fascinating is the difference in expenditures with the Hybrid Approach as opposed to the size approach. That said, I'm moving into the Hybrid realm with a BJJ competition and half marathon coming up this year which has my activity WAY up but wanting to make sure I don't under eat. This gave some great insight as well as your other video. Thank you for sharing!

Thank you so much for sharing! How much time did it take you to adapt to eating large amounts of calories during the day?
I work out about 12/14 hours a week. Split between 7 hours of gym and 6 hours running (50/60 km a week including trail running). My problem is when I try to eat about, let's say, over 3500 calories a day, I feel terrible. Probably I'm eating too clean, and almost all my macros come from sweet potatoes, quinoa, oats, and high-fiber food. Protein is something similar, chicken breast, tuna fish, tofu, protein powder, etc.
Thanks! and your content is amazing!

How comes your base is only 2500cal? For 90KG and for the amount of muscle mass you have that seems like more of an agressive cut just to shed the weight of quicker? Love your videos btw, very informative especially. I like watching them all as mental prep for the Edinburgh marathon, seeing how hard the stuff you do makes me feel like it will be easy ahah
