I improved every aspect of my life by not drinking
The correct answer
@@Dinckelburg lol just swam a mile in under 35 minutes 55 yrs that was after I’d cycled for an hour
U need to drink otherwise dehydration
@@ylilautajonne8510 😂🤣😂🤣
Same here. Approaching two years now and literally every aspect of my life has improved.
Fergus, Thank You. Brilliant and insightful as always. Being outdoors in all conditions and weathers, has altered my life beyond belief. My mental health is key and without structure and giving back to others and my community, well i dread to think what could have happened. And indeed 5 am starts! Not for everyone but vital for me. Thanks again, Fergus. Means a lot to us all. Stay safe and focused.
Awesome to hear Keith thanks for watching!
Smashing through your content, learning loads, really good sir, keep it up!
I have the same habits of planning my day the night before and reading a little bit everyday. Thanks for the book recommendations! I also love to start my day with a gym workout or a run!
Great to hear Chloe, thanks for watching!
LOVE IT!! Keep it up Fergus! Cant wait to see your channel EXPLODE
Thanks Blake!
Been watching your videos for a few months now. I’ve really enjoyed The Wintering series. Keep up the good work!
Cheers Eric, appreciate it!
Just a US follower here. Love the content, super helpful and motivating . Training for my first Ironman, thanks for the tips and inspiration
Thanks Jeff, appreciate it!
Love the videos! You’re Celtman videos got me buzzing and I managed to bag myself a place for this year. It’s part of my 52 events in 52 weeks, it’s the one I’m most bricking it about!!
Awesome to hear man, see you there!
Great stuff, Fergus! All 8 habits are great and couldn’t agree more with working out first thing in the morning. It sets the tone for the day and gets your mind right. Love the videos - keep it up!
Thanks for watching Frank!
The open water swimming looked SIIIICK!!! Awesome stuff!
I'd love to see a video on how you balance your training, wake up schedule, workload etc. with your relationship. This looks like an ideal life for me if I was single but I think I'd drive my SO nuts if I tried to do most of it! Great work as always Fergus!
Yeah Where's the sex and love.
Great video, great insights! Thank you for your time and effort 👌.
My only additions would be Wim Hofs breathing and cold plunges, used in sync with your points, outside, first thing (routine 5am) etc.
Great vid Fergus, have followed your stuff for a while now and it just gets better.
Great to hear man thank you!
Much to go at there, I particularly like 'do hard stuff'. Pushing towards and past your limits with (sometimes alarming) frequency is one sure-fire way to build.
Good man!
Amazing video, great content once again!!
Hey everyone! Thanks for watching and apologies I had to reupload this one as some voiceover audio hadn’t processed properly!
Don’t forget to like the video (again), subscribe, and comment with the habits that have changed your life for the better down below ⬇️
Fantastic video as always Fergus 👏 really useful stuff. So important to talk about mental health
Great to hear mate thank you for watching!
Great video Fergus and definitely the early morning starts as a triathlete I can relate to. Training for the Celtman this year and the volume is just about to start ramping up. Stay in Kirkliston so OW swims in Threipmuir will have to commence sometime soon although not particularly looking forward to it! All the best with your challenges this year.
Probably see you in there, if not at the Celtman itself!
Just finding you/your channel. Enjoying your information. Super helpful. Doing my first TRI/OWS in a week 😬 I’m nerve-cited!! 😄
How did it go? You can't just leave it there
Awesome as always, very insightful 🙌🏻
Thanks Donna!
Love it man! Keep up the good work.
Cheers Samuel!
Nice content well said @Fergus
Just today went for a 12 k run at -26 c Alberta Canada to get out of my confort zone !!!
Lets go get after it !!!
Awesome man great to hear!
Your videos are great Fergus. Keep up to good work 🤘
Thanks James, appreciate it!
Training first thing in the morning was the gamechanger for me. Only Chance to get the work in and still spend time with the wife and kids. I'm usually done before they wake up. The evening ist family time.
I've had such a massive change in my outlook on training since watching your videos in December; a true watch worthy inspiration. I'm saving up to buy the marathon and strength training program!
Awesome to hear thank you! Keep an eye out for a sale mid March 👀
Well said about the subcultures of swimming 👊🏼
Great speech at the end of this video. You are a wise not nonsense man.
Thank you, appreciate it!
I have adopted some of these habits to what I have been doing and making me feel a lot better.
Would be good to do a review of other trainer apps and programmes out there to see how they compare to getting a trainer doing it! Thanks stu
Great to hear man! I don't quite know what you mean with the second half of your comment however?
Brilliant video 💪
Thanks Joe, appreciate it!
Another super video..thank you
Thanks for watching Simon!
love your content mate. Currently doing 16km most days and trying to build muscle. your suggestion of eating back 90% of running calories has really helped so thanks! Keep the videos coming matey x
Great to hear man, although 16km most days sounds like an awful lot of volume unless you're training to 100km+ ultrarunning!
@@ferguscrawley95 haha you’re right, training for marathon and not completely sure the best way to do it, but at the point where I’m able to do 16km consecutively if that counts for anything
@@ferguscrawley95 what would you suggest is a more optimal training schedule for a marathon?
It had to be planned... Flawless midroll ad timing, always cracks me up when people manage to make ads into a part of a joke
When you said "And point six is 'watch yoga videos uninterrupted with a month of RUclips premium on us'"
Hahaha it wasn't even, but I guess it works!
@@ferguscrawley95 Great video though as always! Signed up for my first ever ultra marathon this November!
The face for us hybrid athletes. Demonstrating that you can be aesthetic and athletic supposedly to watch every bodybuilder thinks. Much love fergus
Thanks man!
Fergus, I meant to comment in the running video. I'm doing the 4x4x48 , you should try it out! (March 4/5th) You could probably knock it out no problem
Mad seeing Portobello all cinematic and what have ye.
Aye, seems you can dress up a turd 😂
May I ask, would you ever do an obstacle race? Tough Mudder or Spartan? I love Monkey bars. Please understand that I absolutely admire your work but I have slightly less razor focused interests.
Great on the new books. I can recommend essentialism by Greg Mckeown that shares sone themes
It's a banger - but not as good as effortless, I feel the premise of essentialism can be neatly summarised through Blinkist or diluted down into the key points, as the message is so clear it doesn't necessarily need the full book to hit home!
Please list the key points in your description!
1. Buy your program
2. Buy your shirts
3. Buy your pseudo coffee
I’ve just finished reading atomic habits by James clear.
A modern classic!

Books:
Stolen Focus, Yohan Hari
Never Split The Difference, Christopher Voss and Tahl Raz
Why has nobody told me this before, Julie Smith
The Power Of Regret, Daniel Pink
Good man, game changer for sure!
I like how you snuck in tip #9- stop creating subcultures. Thanks for being a badass human.
whats the title of your hybrid athlete 101 training program? I couldn't find it on omnia's website.
www.omnia-performance.com/store-FlsS9/p/hybrid-101-1
Is the link on the website down for the training plans, the other links seem to work but not the training plans ???
Shouldn't be my man - checked as you commented this and since and no issue, if you head to 'store' and then view each product there you can see all the details as well!
Nice pointers. It’s pronounced SIRcadian rhythm though, it’s a soft C 😆
My problem is my job I work 12 hour shifts day shift and Nightshift so can’t get to into a good routine every week. But stil tryin to aim for tritahlon
Créate apretura for each shift and leave 1 day off for the switch.
A only have one day between Nightshift and dayshift
Finish Monday morning 630and back starting dayshift at 630am on Wednesday mornin
it’s a weird shift pattern . Still struggling away while chasing triathlon dreams 🤣
@@jamesmckenna5993 that’s 2 days😂. I feel your pain man, I was doing tri whilst working shifts on the railways, found the whole thing difficult to manage tbh, but I made it worse by not getting enough sleep so I was alway fighting colds etc that’s the one thing I would advise is get enough sleep!
"for those who don't know, these are books"... hahahahahahahahaha brilliant
😂😂😂
What Garmin watch do you recommend for starting out?
The one that suits your requirements! Forerunner range upwards is generally best bet!
Biggest takeaway here is the pronunciation of circadian... Have I been saying it wrong this whole time? Thought it was a phonetic 'sir' at the start. My whole life's a lie
Song at 4:25?
Unsure, will check!
Not drinking 1 to 8
That’s not how you pronounce circadian, it’s not pronounced with a k
piggus ze porkus
Since watching your videos in December I have had such a massive change in my outlook to training. A real watch worthy inspiration. Saving up to buy the marathon and strength training program!
Awesome to hear man!
