Welcome to my RUclips channel Hairliciously. In this channel, I will be taking you on a journey of my FUE hair transplant progress. Towards the end of November 2016, I had a 1700 FUE hair transplant done in South Korea at Motion Clinic (en.motionclinic.kr) to lower my hairline and to fill in my receding temples. The FUE hair transplant procedure took me about 7-8 hours to complete and cost me approximately $5000 USD.
I will be doing daily updates on my hair transplant progress, so feel free to subscribe and ask any questions you have. Thanks for visiting!
Please like, comment and subscribe! :)
======================================
Products I am using to supplement my FUE hair transplant:
1. HAIRLICIOUSLY Dr Pen 1.5mm 1-2x a week. (temples and hairline)
2. HAIRLICIOUSLY Hair Growth Supplement 2x a day
3. Minoxidil (Rogaine) - Minoxidil slows hair loss progression and promotes hair regrowth. I've noticed that using Minoxidil helped me grow my transplanted hairs a lot more quicker.
4. Pumpkin Seed Oil 1000 mg + HAIRLICIOUSLY Vitamins
5. HAIRLICIOUSLY Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT)SHAVED MY HEAD: • I SHAVED MY HEAD AGAIN...
6. Hemia 0.1% topical dutasteride

I can’t believe how difficult curing hair loss has been for humans. Despite all the other incredible advancements we’ve made and discoveries, we still don’t have a cure for hair loss
I honestly don’t see a cure anytime soon but better treatments to be used in conjunction with current meds are in the horizon!
exactly! trying to create a habitat in mars but still couldnt find a way to regrow some hair.
It's way too profitable NOT to find a cure, think about it 🤔
@@tylerl6589but sorry why don't you think selling a cure could not be an extremetely high profit?? Sorry for my english... i m trying to do my best 😅
@@tylerl6589 It’s profitable for the companies that already own the market for current treatments. That’s why they don’t invest much in new technologies. It’s hugely profitable for whoever can displace those companies with a better solution though.
The first trillionaire will be whoever cures hair loss and/or makes a real penis enlarging pill.
We only have approximately 400 more year of “is this the cure for hairloss?!?!)Then we’ll finally have a cure.
😂😂😂 I agree
Humans won't live after 2100
Nah, biotech is coming up to an inflection point. We’re going to see all sorts of medical technologies we could only imagine before coming to life in the next 100 years.
@@tomcotter4299 We'll be dead by then lol
@@jaydog9329 Hey, speak for yourself! I could potentially live to see 50+ of those years. And if some of the breakthroughs extend life maybe more! 😝
I love hearing about these breakthroughs. So many of us suffer from this condition, and all we can dream about is once again having a full head of hair. But, if I’m being honest, I feel sometimes businesses are never ever really going to find a cure for hair loss. They seem to be making too much money off what they’re doing now, but I’m staying positive. Best of luck to anyone reading this. Hang in there guys 👍🏻
Man, I really appreciate your deep knowledge and updates about hair loss remedies and research. Keep up the amazing work!
Thanks for your support! 🙏
5 years ago they were saying that the cure was months Away. Lots oh click bait
As usual, if they do manage to make it work they will tweak it so that they find a way to make you stay on the treatment so that it's not a one time fix. Big pharma's got to make its money!
Yup
They won't make a medication less efficacious. If it's a one time fix they can charge a fortune for it, and think about the market potential.
@@GLOKD Yeah exactly. If they are able to make a one time cure, they or even like a monthly or yearly thing, they can market it as that and charge a lot, and pretty much destroy all the other treatments. Of course they will wanna be the first
@@GLOKD why one large amount when you can have 1000s of small amounts ?
@@GLOKD Thats not how free markets work. They make a cure they have to compete with other people selling the formula, causing price drops till it reaches its equilibrium price. Right now they have people on subscription for life
The future is looking bright
damn bro always baiting me with the captions :)
looks good, probably 10 years away until it will be available for rich people, then another 5 years for normal people. I would probably be dead by that time anyway lol

As a parent of a Medullo-kid I can't say enough how much further study would need to be done if the SHH/SMO pathway is open. It's a doorway to gene mutation and gene mutation is basically never a positive. If the gene-mutation side effect could be mitigated then this isn't only a pathway to cure hair loss, it's a side-step into massively effective cancer treatment.
Please they want us to die this is no sulfide lol
We can land a helicopter drone on a different planet 1,000,000 miles away but we can’t regrow hair without taking a pill , hmm 🤔
Scientific progress is really slow for treating baldness. Which is odd, since hairloss affects so many people and causes major anxiety. It's also quite obvious whether a medication or therapy will be efficacious or not - does hair grow back or does it not? We need more ideas, more resources, more science and faster studies.
It's not ode cause it's an entire body systemic roller coaster od effects which leads to it. When the body is sick and chronically inflamed, it sheds off the least important parts. Namely the hair
@@keylanoslokj1806 I'm in tip-top physical condition- work out 5x a week. Not sick, not chronically inflamed. Just bald, at 33. There are homeless people with better hairlines than me. There are chronically sick elderly people with better hairlines than me. I don't buy your theory.
@@GLOKD how do you know this. Have you had your thyroid oxidative antibodies checked? Your gut inflammation markers? Your liver and kidneys filtration? How are you so sure that all your inner organs and systems are in perfect balance and optimisation? If they were your body wouldn't shed your hair
@@keylanoslokj1806 I had all my bloods taken when I had my appendix taken out a few years ago (and was balding) - everything was within healthy range. Hairloss is genetic- it's about how sensitive you are to DHT. If it was about "inflammation markers", women would have rates of hairloss the same as men. Inflammation is also a pretty easy thing to fix. I can buy over-the-counter anti-inflammatories... why do none of these affect baldness?
@@GLOKD exactly so you miss your appendix. Which is a reserve for repopulation of healthy gut bacteria. So you got gut dysbiosis. Let me guess, you had antibiotics before as well. And gut bacteria are responsible for the signals going to your brain as well. So you can't properly make TSH either. So you got thyroid problems too. And then you wonder why you overproduce DHT. Nothing is extra on the human body. Every little organ and system and bacteria population and tooth is needed.
You better NOT have gotten my hopes up, AGAIN, with something that doesn't pay off.
Yes we did. Available from 2035. For now use arnica oil and saw palmetto.
At 4:18 for a second I honestly thought I heard you say "Sonic the Hedgehog signaling pathway", and for the rest of the video i couldn't help but hear hedgehog pathway hahaha! Very promising study, though. Looking forward to more updates from you!
He did say that. That’s what the scientists named the pathway when it was first discovered. Pretty funny lol
I quote wiki on this: The gene was named by Robert Riddle, a postdoctoral fellow at the Tabin Lab, after his wife Betsy Wilder came home with a magazine containing an advert for the game Sonic the Hedgehog. Who says science isn't humorous?
@@irishmuscle7352 You're absolutely right, wasn't looking at my screen during most of the video. Wow, figured I had just misheard him and it was some crazy scientific term. I can already see the corny products coming our way haha

@@hairliciously hey, real quick question. People always say PFS isn’t a thing and if you stop taking fin your sides will always go away. I believe that. But is it the same with dutasteride? I know it’s a longer half life so dut sides would persist longer but I don’t really see people say that dut sides will definitely go away like fin sides
@@Gwazi its bogus with dutasteride too. think about it, theres no such thing as post dutasteride syndrome but theres is one for fin a far weaker 5ar blocker. Why u think is that? To make some quick cash on desperate people and fix a condtition that it dont exist.

I think the most prospects of a permanent hair loss solution are in cloning of hairs from the back of the head. And then implanting them in the receiver areas.
They've tried that and failed.

Hey brother, first of all I really appreciate your work and thankyou for everything.
Now, I am 21 and for the last five months I have been loosing insane amount of hair. I used to have so much hair that it was difficult for me to apply shampoo evenly on my scalp. But now
I can easily see my scalp under harsh sunlight . This was not the case 5 months earlier , it all happened under this period. I consulted almost 3 dermas and I was not happy with their service honestly because from where I am, hairloss is not considered something big. I was diagnosed with T.E. with Androgenetic aloepicia. Now I have decided to go for fin and minoxidil. I just want to know that can I recover my lost hair and my shedding is out of control. Can you give me some advice how to stop my shedding and can I recover the hair lost during these 5 months
Yo bro did you suffer from any kind of disease recently? Like typhoid or dengue?

@@izhanrashid2349 Ok listen to me carefully bro. I'm 25 right now. I have been suffering from severe chronic seborrheic dermatitis for 13 years. And after taking an intense amount of stress from a really serious breakup with my ex 6 years ago I have been suffering from chronic telogen effluvium. Both of these conditions have made me develop androgenetic alopecia much earlier in my life than I was meant to. However, with the things I have changed in my life I have begun to see improvements.
@@izhanrashid2349 Hair Shedding from telogen effluvium can almost always be recovered. Only the hair lost through AGA cant. It's the Hairs that have thinned so much to the extent of no return are lost. All you need to focus on is,
Order List (Priority Based):
1) To take finasteride for six months straight.
2) Apply minoxidil for 6 months straight.
3) Focus on Hair and Scalp Health, Wash your hair with the correct products according to your hair type. For example, I have an oily scalp, Dry Hair, and Dandruff, so I wash my hair every day; 3 times a week with anti-dandruff shampoos, alternating it with a gentle and sensitive shampoo 3 times a week, and once a week with a deep clarifying shampoo. The day I wash with the deep clarifying shampoo I apply a moisturizing hair treatment as well for my dry hair, not oils. Avoid Oils always unless you know which ones you need.
4) Scalp Massage. PLEASE DO THIS EVERY DAY. I swear by this. I have been massaging my scalp every day for 15 minutes for the past 3 months and my scalp has never felt this relaxed and my hair has never felt this strong in years!
5) Eat well. Lots of high-quality protein, vegetables, and High-quality Hair supplements. Avoid sugars including most fruits, vegetable oils, and everything that contains vegetable oils.

The problem is that older studies seem to suggest that SCUBE3 may be asociated with the growth of lung cancer so better stay cautious and not raise any hopes. MPB seems to be just too intricate.
It could be that hairloss is a side effect of cell replication regulatory processes that protects the body from too much cell replication. Maybe eat less. Increase Natural autophagy. Get more hair?
@@CantilEdge I have read things like MPB may be pretty much an auto immune problem, one's own body treating hair like an enemy to the body. Who knows, but I think it is better not hold any hopes in regards to SCUBE3 because of what I mentioned, it seems to be asociated with the growth of lung cancer. The most effective remedy today is indetectable hair pieces.

I believe they do or could have a cure, but there is too much money involved in the industry right now to fix baldness. They would loose too much money if we would fix baldness from happening any more.
The reason there is no cure is because hairless is extremely complex, and fixing requires changes to hormones, which is obviously a non-starter. There is no malice.

Ditch the keto shampoo, all those anti-dandruff shampoos thin the hair out. Be conservative with your microneedling because in this case, sometimes less is more (i would recommend no more than once every two weeks). Also i wouldn't go deeper than 1.0mm because you don't want to risk going too deep and stabbing the follicle (skin and scalp depth can vary between individuals).
