Honestly, if he had passed me on the street when he had his long hair I wouldn't have even noticed. But the short style? Wow. I''d do a double or triple take. Looks SO handsome. And when/if he starts to get a little gray I think that cut will make it look very distinguished.

Algorithms- had watched an American men’s hair stylist/ barber - not bad … nice transformation. BUT I subscribed to yours after listening to you as well as watching the transformations you’ve done. I appreciate and was extremely impressed with the time you took for your consultation with your client. The thoughtfulness that went into the planning prior to the work done with the client was unmatched. A person’s outward appearance and especially one’s hair style goes hand in hand with their self- esteem and their presentation even before they open their mouth to speak so… you are very sensitive to the client and helping them realize their wish. Your client is learning a great deal whilst sitting in your chair. For your viewers who are also barbers/ hair stylists I imagine it’s also a master class to digest! Andy has such a great attitude about his hair receding and starting to thin at the crown. I absolutely applaud his grace regarding how he is dealing with it. I believe his great attitude was rewarded by Dan's talent and ability to foresee the cut that works best for his client! Terrific job on this one. It changed Andy's entire appearance and brought such youthfulness.
His hair at 44 years old is not common to see with that kind of density and really just a maturing hairline. Not too much recession. He may not realize that his hair at his age is way above average. Great job on the cut.
Indeed. Andy: if you are not already, please do consider getting on at least a low dose of finasteride/dutasteride right now. If you look closely I think you can see that you are thinning a *little*, but your hair still looks great and this is exactly the right time to get on the meds to preserve your hair before it actually looks thin.

One of your best transformations in my point of view Dan.......Andy looks incredibly younger, and rather than looking like he has a receding hairline, it looks "styled" and current! I have become addicted to this channel. I can't get over how Dan turns these average (or less) looking men into quite handsome "regal gentlemen." However, I must also say I am a bit biased. I have yet in my life (I'm 61) to see a man that I think looks better with long hair. But, Dan does have a special gift, I believe, of knowing what will look best on his clients. These transformations are simply amazing.

He seemed kind of worried as the cut was being done, but once he styled it, I could see his expression soften and I could tell he was happy.
