  • Welcome back to our ZBrush modeling series, where today we're taking on the challenge of creating the front fender for our motorcycle project, a step up in complexity compared to what we've tackled before. This tutorial is designed to guide you through the process of modeling a front fender in ZBrush, starting from the basic cylinder shape to the final polished piece.
Throughout the tutorial, I'll share essential hotkeys and tips for using the Deformer Soft, adjusting the resolution and symmetry with cones, and manipulating points for precise deformation.
I'll also touch on my approach to modeling complex shapes like the front fender, breaking it down into basic forms, focusing on angles changes, and the value of having quality references from various sources, including Google, RUclips, and personal photo collections.
Happy modeling, and we look forward to seeing you in our next session!

Thank you so much for this tutorial series Henry. I got the Rotor tutorial and already picked so much from that. Bought all the plugins you have mentioned here :) so not a free tutorial anymore but totally worth it.
question what screen size do you normaly use your UI on? if i load it things get cropped so my guess is a big screen :)

The display resolution I have is 3840 x 2160. I also have the scale zoomed in by 150% so I can see everything a little better. If things are getting cropped out, you can hold down the CTRL key & pressing on an empty space on the UI. This will allow you to scroll the UI left to right if at the bottom or top and up and down when on the sides.

Hey Henry thank you so much for these tutorials cannot wait for each new video, so well explained and shown. Roughly how long did it take you to model the whole bike?

Thanks Michael! 😃I'd estimate it took roughly 30 - 40 hours to model.
