    61 citizen complaints, drunk driving, wrecking a police cruiser and leaving the scene to avoid drug and alcohol testing. Maybe the department and police union need to be sued for allowing a known drunk and abuser to remain on the police force and putting innocent citizens at risk.

      @@vegasjeff2126Yes, they should lose qualified immunity and the money should come from the officer. But, the officer should be insured so people actually get what they deserve. If not, then you'll see a broke officer that fucks up someone's life and they'll get shit. The simple solution is that officers need to carry their own liability insurance. And...of course, if an insurance company thinks they are too big of a risk and won't insure them, obviously they shouldn't be on the job.

He was able to keep his job for some reason ( the good ole boy system), worked his way back up to Corporal, then Sgt. After a few years was promoted to Lt. And he was in charge of IA. @athletico7707 At one time, every convicted criminal had no criminal record. I'm not sure why you have raised that question.
      Section 750.535 of the MCL states: (1) A person shall not buy, receive, possess, conceal, or aid in the concealment of stolen, embezzled, or converted money, goods, or property knowing, or having reason to know or reason to believe, that the money, goods, or property is stolen, embezzled, or converted.
      Again the statue requires "knowing, or having reason to know or reason to believe." without audio to the accompanying video, Police investigators believed she was an accomplice, the woman argued she was a good samaritan. Judge Cusick made the final ruling.

    • @slickdawg5976
      @slickdawg5976 Год назад

      @athletico7707 Again ALL individuals who are convicted of crimes, at some point within their lives failed to have prior convictions or a criminal history. Lack of criminal history, age or employment status have no definitive bearing on predicting future behavior. Also I'm not certain where the assumption Ms. Wilson had nor prior conviction arises.
      You've suggested: "The police had no evidence that she had reason to believe the card was stolen."
      The publicly viewable facts displayed Ms Wilson in possession of stolen property. Ms. Wilson did physically pass the stolen property to another individual inside of the motor vehicle. The possession/transference is clearly distinguishable within the video. Ms. Wilsons actions within and outside the gas station indeed provides enough "probable cause" to conduct a lawful arrest under MCL 750.535. What a individual "believes" or assumes to be lawful/un-lawful has no bearing on a "probable cause" arrest. "Totality of Circumstances," is what's uncovered during the prosecuting investigation.
      As for the investigative portion of the incident, I'll reasonably assume you nor I have been made privy to any official documents, so I'll refrain from debating the the judges ruling. However, as the news report suggested DPD continues to contend Ms. Wilson arrest was lawful, and that she was an accomplice.

    There is a list that these so called, law breakers are meant to be on, only they aren't placed on it, so they can go from one station to another.

If you work in the private sector and you get 3 or 4 customer complaints that are found to be true, you get fired. 61 complaints in addition to leaving the scene of an accident which is a criminal offense and he is still employed? They all see BP as less than that can be mistreated without accountability, responsibility, and repacurssion. It's absolutely shameful. The entire system is a facade that lacks integrity to deliver adequate and fair policing to the people. This is NOT a democracy or a constitution republic but rather a VICIOUS DRACONIAN VIOLENT TERRORISTIC SYSTEM DESIGNED to create and perpetuate mass criminalization, mass incarceration, extortion, enslavement, retaliatory policing and injustice and intimidation of BP. These incompetent fools in uniform are nothing but domestic terrorism. They lack respect for the laws and constitution rights of BP. They need to follow up this violent situation and not let it go. The police have the city, state, and unions to pay for them. Doctors have insurance, hospitals, and their own salaries to pay for them.
      Doctors also convince the public that there are no guarantees in treatment which shields them from responsibility. The majority of their errors are unreported, and they don't self report.
