it's true I see that it's tricky for a good fit of the cylinder with the pistons and its segment., it doesn't always work from the first but it's the very important step for the longevity of the engine.
I love how you show the full job step by step on video! Can you please tell me how to correctly replace the rear wheel axle bearing? Should I use a heat gun or should I press it?
I have 3 scooters under repair, Kymco agility naked renewed 2017, Kymco people 2005, and ksr toxic 50. the ZIP I would like to add it to my collection as well as the Yamaha booster and aerox

hello, what belt do you use and what size? I noticed that it is malossi but the size is not visible in the video, and a link to a belt would be very helpful
hello, just wanted to ask about theese gears. i have put on my aprilia sr 50 euro 4.. afther 50kmh they are really loud.. is it normal for them to sound like this? i wanna knoe if theres by any chance to lower the noise from the gears?
Hey, I have a Euro 4. It's fully derestricted but only top out on GPS at 74km/h. I've heard that the Euro 4 models have a short secondary gear compared to older models. DId you see much speed increase after you replaced the gears? Is your bike de-restricted?
i did this a few days ago, went pretry smooth. the only thing is that i fitted a new seal and i didn't install it to be flush with the gearbox cover. will this cause any problems with the bearing?
i saw the primary gear has some play once assembled, is this normal as mine had this even though I replaced the bearings and saw the bearings had some play. but some people say there's meant to be zero play? :( help
i am trying to change these gears on the piaggio zip 50 and the cover is extremely tight and stuck. does anyone have any advice on how i could do this because i dont think wiggling will do much since there are also those binding pins in the cover?
could you perhaps recommend what gearing i should get for my gilera runner with an airsal sport 70cc a polini cp19mm with a pod, multivar 2000 vario and polini g3 clutch :D
Is it normal for the input shaft to have some play after changing the bearings ? It moves a little when you shake it, but like 1mm. The bearing shouldn't been damaged because i was really careful. Also I am with the stock gears, I have some whining sound, could that be that they are worn ? Visually they don't seem that much but who knows. Otherwise great video !
Nevermind, I just found out that the previous owner had installed a straight cut gear, and didn't realise it. So no problem at all, except it's little annoying 😁
if you have aprilia sr 50 and if it is 2017+ it will go faster if you change them, you dont have to put malossi ones, if you can find used from older model aprilia sr50 it will be great.
I definitely would not play with the diff gears with the factory cylinder still on. On some scooters the factory diff gears are a little undergeared from factory, so an upgrade works well even with the factory cylinder (the morini engine in the Ditech SR and TGB/Pegasus models is a good example). With the Piaggio engine, you will lose a significant amount of acceleration, and likely not gain any top speed. The limiting factor of top speed is lack of power vs wind and road resistance. You need more power, not more gearing.
You are professionnal ? Me iam old years 17 aprenti practice with contrat , echec abandon after 25 weeks , contrat abandoned from Yamaha dealer belgium , 1995.
i don't understand on video on gearing states this gear will slow bike down and have less top speed yet your fitting it on this video you state the malossi 14/39 gear is not suitable for the aprilia sr 50? video do you need more speed
No, but I understand your confusion. The Scooter Street video was done with the gears from a Zip/Vespa which are to suit smaller wheel. Smaller wheel needs more rotation for the same speed. The 14/39 is the correct gear set for the SR, but not for the Zip - this is the point I was trying to make.
Which shaft? If it's the input shaft (the one that rear pulley sits on) it'll be because the bearing in your transmission cover has seized. This is somewhat common on the Piaggio engine.
I had the hiper2 engine codes committed to memory, I've since forgotten.. the gearing system is the same on all, the only difference is the ratio (tooth count) on the gears, which varies depending on wheel size. Short answer, yes it does apply - just check the teeth on the factory gears to make sure you're moving in the direction you want to when you order the upgraded kit.
Hard to say exactly as it needed some more transmission tuning after, but gained an extra approx 6-12kph depending on what rollers it was run with. It gave the bike a fairly big torque increase at 60kph onwards
@Scroatal Octopus I have experienced a pretty decent fuel saving on the bikes I've installed one on. I'd probably recommend a 10-15% increase though, no more. The acceleration will reply suffer without significant power upgrades
❤❤😊😊HEY BRAD ❤❤😊😊🎉🎉BEAUTIFUL EXAUST , TT NICE SETUP VERY IMPORTANT EXAUST GOOD PERFORMANCE LEOVINCI , WITH ROLLER WEIGHT IS ULTRA IMPORTANT WEIGHT STOCK LEOVINCI WITH SPRING STOCK LEOVINCI
Thank you for your very important videos, you give very good explanations and very good tips detailed in video.

Beautiful kit ,beautiful motor

Glad you find it helpful! Axle bearing needs probably to be pulled out with a bearing puller. I have replaced one before, it was a bit of a pain

how many kilograms you put for the assembly of the cylinder head of this air engine.
How much MPH with Leovinci TT. ROLLER AND SPRING STOCK ??

What gearing should i use on a stock aprilia sr50r ditech? For reaching higher top speeds.
where are you from Brad, England?

Did everything go well with your bike?

A small amount of play isn't just normal, it's necessary. If it's super tight, this is very bad.
Hi. This is oil 80w 90 und how much oil

I have an aprilia sr 50r 2021. will the primary transmission of the ratio 14/39 be enough for 50 cc. I have a yasuni r exhaust, malossi multivar

What gears did u use?
Quante tonnellate è la tua pressa?
Great video, Does this apply to the piaggio c361m engine aswell?
