@@FishinNStuff mate I'm for Australia and love my kayak fishing. So glad I found your channel. I've shared it with my fishing buddies. @@Alberthoward3right9up that would be awesome . But I'm not sure how long a drill battery would last . I'm aye it would work as long as the voltage was correct
@@FishinNStuff thanks for the reply. I've been checking a few forums and it seems they draw too many amps. I Aint no sparky tho. That tube idea instead of bead was pretty neat! Crazy how simple some things can be. Somebody just has to be a little creative to come up with it and share it with other people. Great video! 💡 🛠✔🎣🐟
I've been using rubber line stoppers for a while and they work like a shock absorber but for heavy line the thick wall silicone tubing is a great idea and it can actually cover the knot so your tag end doesn't snag grass or algae.
I like the lure binder hack and pencil box hacks. Recently got all my lures and tackle organized using plastic containers with smaller boxes for some and plastic jars for others depending on the shape of the lure etc., for example my smaller size weights or jig heads in plastic jars. Some bottles for seasonings like basil or dried chilli have a flip top lid with a triangle shape hole that's great as a split shot or swivel dispenser. Love the catfish nation flag. Just now noticed it on this video
Love the can cuzzie reel covers! Got myself some clear plastic compartmentalized storage containers for hooks, swivels, etc for cheap at Harbor Freight as you suggested in another video. Luv 'em. I also made a bailer out of a gallon (plastic) bottle of Arizona Tea. Free, and VERY sturdy.
I was just thinkin’ “Where’s he been at?…” and 💥… there you were!! Great review of a lot of cool stuff, and I really liked #6 & #7, with the silicone tubing and beads. I’ll have to keep an eye out next time I’m at the Dollar Store. (I told my wife the two fishing jokes; she rolled her eyes on the 1st one, figured out the answer to the 2nd - and she doesn’t even go fishing! 🤓) Good to see you again as always! Look forward to the next build!
Just have to say probably the top fishing channel on RUclips. Thanks for the great ideas keep up the good work not just the fishing but all yout DIYy's
Really enjoy your videos!👍👍 Definitely will put some of these to use..actually have a few in use already thanks to you. Yeah with gas prices soaring, the more we save with hacks, the more we can still get to the fish.🎣 Thanks again Keith! Have a great weekend brother!
After painting with nail polish use some hobby lobby uv resin and give it one coat and it stays chip free for a while. And for the Can cuzzi line holder. Get yourself harbor freight grommet pliers and add a grommet to the side of the cuzzi and you never have to pull it out. Works great for your leader spools
I've found lots of uses for spring-wire shower curtain clips from Walmart. Hang a towel on your seat or belt, organize hooks, keychain, etc. And they're super cheap.
Love this guy! I just made myself a power box after watching the ammo box hacks and itssssssss awesome! I used a pelican box I found and a kayak battery. Took about twenty mins and I added a solar trickle charger! Thanks for the great content!
Little $1 walkway night lights for outdoors with solar chargers on them work great for double a battery chargers use them for charging your night light at camp

Well you just made my day . Thank you very much . It's only a great channel because I have great subscribers . It makes me try hard and everything I do worth it
Great Show !! On your idea if knot protectors using tubing , " Now being one ", most every family has someone on Oxygen . Every so often you have to change your breathing Tubes , or U DO anyway , but they're 4 ft. to 7 ft. long , so why not for them into the 1/4 inch PC's. ?? Save a couple of bucks , and you have to throw them away . I do this myself, thanks for letting me Comment .Love your HACKS and ALL. Oh Sorry if some words a spelt wrong , I'm Old and Half Blind also , But I Love Fishing . 😊
For the beads - I found a huge pack of acrylic "glass" beads at a craft store - I think it was $3-4, I got about 500 and they work great. They have a frosted glass appearance when dry, but turn translucent when wet.
My favorite kind of hack. I use an insulated lunch box for a light weight tackle box. It is set up for trout and perch.... Or any other pan fish. So sinkers, bobbers, stops, some spinners, hocks, insulated to keep my dough baits, frozen shiner minnows, and crawlers cool. A knife and needle nose. By the way if you have to buy a Carolina rig.... Don't fish.
I liked your hacks , plus your videos are very entertaining. Anytime I can get ideas and entertained at the same time is bonus. I’ve been using nail polish for lures for years- the clear polish works better than the cement for flies and it’s cheaper.
Other DollarTree solid buy is the cooler bag. Throw a couple of frozen water bottles in there and keep catch or bait fresh. Also good for the bottles to use in small live well. Butterfly nets are seasonal and pretty flimsy. Kitchen strainers are always there. Big plastic one is good for live well, small metal mesh one is good for bucket.
Man.... I gotta say, I freaking love your videos!! They're freakin.. AWESOME! I'm just saying lol. Don't stop what you're doing. I love going thru and even watching some over and over just to take notes for some of the little odds and ends I need for my rig.
On the pencil box fly box drill a couple small holes so it air out. Also save silica packs from packages and put them in your tackle boxes to absorb moisture. Or little cloth packs with some rice in them.
That foam in the box also works with small cans of mints if you use closed cell foam. Gift card cans, special promos like for chewing tobacco, etc. Spray entirely with a hard clear coat (matte!!) before gluing on the foam for rust protection, then paint (matte finish!!) the outside when done in your favorite color. Need: tin box, drill, 1/8" bit, two lengths of beaded chain at least 3" long, bead/wire cutters, a sheet of 1/8" closed cell foam if covering whole bottom, OR, 1/4" closed cell foam if making rows like in this video, scissors that can cut either foam size, sharp tip marker, favorite glue (I use super glue), hard, matte, clear coat; matte paint in favorite colors. Length of chain is for hinges if the tin doesn't have its own, so its length varies by your need. Clean and scuff surfaces, spray clear coat and dry. Mark and drill out a hole about 1/4" from one end on the long side (DO THIS ONLY FOR TINS W/O FACTORY HINGES), and another hole evenly placed on the other end of the side you drilled the first one. Run the chains through both lid and tin, adjust the length so you can open and close the tin and the lid dangles only as far as you want, trim any excess. Measure inside of the tin and cut a square of 1/8" foam to fit, OR, decide how many rows you want and cut them from the 1/4" foam. Glue foam in place. Remove chains now if you don't want them painted. Close tin, paint tin, let dry, load, go fishing 🥰 Overspray is a non issue for the interior (just don't hose each hole with paint and maintain a sharp angle on the can relative to the hole) but you can mask the chain holes if you want. Last, I recommend color coding for fly/lure type or using the marker to I. D. the contents as well. A 2nd coat of clear will help maintain your art, remember to reapply clear coat after fixing chips and scratches or re-labelling as marker wears off fairly easily.
Another one that is kinda hard to explain to the cashier is that you are buying tampons to slide inside your plastic halibut squid baits so you can fill it full of pro cure butt juice Lol I always get a wired look with that one
Good stuff as always. I like cheap / inexpensive. Keep them coming. Congrats on all the awards you got at the conference.
