I know that's a thing for all vocaloid concerts but like with these two there's the added challenge of projecting their individual personalities through the way they move (for example Marina is a lot of fluid hip motion while Pearl is all hype and energy with her added hand, head, and foot movements). And then, they still manage to sync up with each other and seem like an actual performing duo with chemistry. Like, HOW MUCH WORK WENT INTO THIS?!
The moment where Pearl and Marina start a wave at 26:03 always gets me, I just remember how Splatoon came out of nowhere in 2014-15 as a brand new IP, and now the idols are on a real stage with an entire audience waving their hands in unison :)

None of the other concerts can match the absolute hype of this one. This goes so incredibly hard, the energy is out of this world, I love every second of it. Was here 4 years ago and I’m back again regularly, props to the band and the whole audience for making it so damn great!
There is something about octo expansion songs that ALWAYS tear me up,,,, I loved Splatoon 2 so much, though I love Deep cut and the Squid Sisters, Off the hook will always, and forever, be the best band to me. It's very odd if you think about the influence of games like Half Life have contributed to the making of Splatoon. I know that it's an odd comparison, but like the innovations of the films The Wizard of Oz and The Jazz Singer are still able to be observed in films from Lawrence of Arabia to Avengers Endgame, you can see some notable staples from those games made so long ago even in Splatoon.
This is why I love Splatoon music so much. All of the songs sounded so amazing! Entropical, The Splatfest Songs, Nasty Majesty, and especially Fly Octo Fly/Ebb and Flow (Octo) were some of my absolute favorite parts of the concert!
Just watched this after playing in the Last Splatfest. It’s a bitter sweet feeling but the Splatfests were great and I’m sure I’ll have a lot of fun with the game moving onward. Hope y’all do too!

Surprised they made an English version of the text part just for this upload, but I’m greatful either way. Wish I had the kinda money to go all the way to japan just for these events but it’s not realistic. However I’m moving to japan in a few years so hopefully I’ll be able to catch one them live one of these days.

This is why I love Splatoon music so much. All of the songs sounded so amazing! Entropical, The Splatfest Songs, Nasty Majesty, and especially Fly Octo Fly/Ebb and Flow (Octo) were some of my absolute favorite parts of the concert!

Wish I had the kinda money to go all the way to japan just for these events but it’s not realistic. However I’m moving to japan in a few years so hopefully I’ll be able to catch one them live one of these days.
