I also am Italian and would like to thank you Laura, you truly are the best. I can watch your videos all day, you inspire us all to learn all your delicious recipes and most of all you have such a charming personality. Merry Christmas!
I just made this. Posted a pic on twitter, facebook, and instagram for u. I used clams, scallops, shrimp and squid. Store didn't have mussels! Thanks its the best recipe I've made from u.
Best cook/chef by FAR!! All recipes are amazing. So easy to follow. Uses ingredients that most of us have on hand. Laura is absolutely amazing. Have her books as well. She's the best!
You are truly an inspirational women and looking back at your older videos, I think we can all agree that you have also grown as a person. We love you Laura !
she has some of the best dishes
Good job! I liked & subscribed. I made a dish I called fish soup, clams, shrimp, mussels, fish that was fresh, and a similar broth. I had never heard of cioppino. When serving to my sophisticated friends ( I am but a small fish in a big soup) they said," best cioppino I ever had" I replied, "What"
Here comes the scallop part :D
I pan seared some scallops in butter, did all the stuff you should do with those folks, and served them in a bed of angle hair with a heavy garlic parsley, little bit of Olive oil coating.
Man, them rich folks loved it all!!!
Now I'm washing dishes at Burger World.
Happy holidays all!
Awesome as always, love how you explain everything and give alternatives, thank you!
Simple easy dish to create. Looks fabulous!
Great and simple recipe. Scallops and shrimp don't take as long to cook as mussels and clams so I added the scallops one minute before turning the heat off and the shrimp right after turning the heat off and allowed both to sit for a few minutes before serving. This turned out great. I served with an option of pasta and/or garlic bread. Next time, I will add cod and squid.
Till this day, still my favorite (and easiest) recipe from Laura. Easy, delicious, and will make u a star of the kitchen. 😉👌🏽

Ciao Laura, I am Gianni from Genova capital of Liguria in North Italy. The local fish stew, zuppa di pasce, is called in genoese language CIUPIN ... Similar to you recipe, but additionally using very tasty small and spiny fish, very tedious to eat but supremely tasty... Your recipe must be delicious anyway, but should you have fresh thyme and maybe even a bay leaf and rosemary twig I would recommend you use it. Maybe add a small chopped-up onion, better if red, at the beginning in your soffritto. Love to you xxx
Rosemary and seafood don’t go together. Bay leaf ok
Thanks Very much God bless with whole family

Great job! Looks delicious..
@superjunior912 The word 'fishes' in the english language is the proper way to address multiple species of fish. Since we are referring to seven different species of fish, the term 'seven fishes' is the correct way to address such a collection of dishes. Google 'Fish vs Fishes' for more info.. Enjoy!
Made it yesterday!! So so good!!
I'm making this tonight...looks sooooo good!

UNTIL NOW!!! I'm so excited an original cioppino recipe that I can handle. Thank you. 💖
Cioppino is originally from San Francisco but was inspired by Italian fisherman who settled in America. The Italian dish it derives from is called ciuppin.
True
Christina Kok no clue what u talking about totally FALSE
COACH DEE - Sorry coach, your wrong and Christina is right, cheers anyways.
came from Liguria.....Or possibley Sicilian or Portuguese fisherman from San Francisco....
Right. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. I was born in San Francisco and I know the Cioppino story.😉 The word Cioppino actually means "pitch in" "pitch in" Which is what the fisherman would do with their daily catch. it was a joined effort. Thank God for cioppino!!we are having it this Sunday.Has been a tradition in my house.👍😋✌

Great recipe, love it. Viewers notice, you can buy red or white wine NO alcohol, use same ratio as recipe, and you can drink it, do not buy cooking wine
This fish soup looks wonderful and it is basically seafood gumbo we make in Texas and Louisianna with the exception of making the roux which is the most time consumer if making from scratch or fresh made.I am sure both are wonderful.I know about gumbo cause everyone who eats my gumbo loves it.
