Lovely Nonna! It would be interesting to see what she looked like when she was younger as I think that Mia and you have her eyes. Family time is so precious, enjoy every moment with your Nonna. Mine sadly passed away a few months ago.

As for the pasta, do you recommend using rigatoni over longer spaghetti or pappardelle?

I honestly think that you would find a way to put basil into a maple bacon glazed doughnut recipe. It's very clear that you love Italian soul food when you cook this way. Instructive? Sure. It always surprises me when you mentioned Italians not liking a lot of garlic, or removing the cloves. I absolutely love garlic sliced, crushed, roasted, grated... any way I can get it. So healthy, too! 😋 However, I'm not a fan of muscles and clams because I have only had them rubbery. How do you keep them from being tough?
