- My video for "I Dreamed Last Night" by Justin Hayward and John Lodge, from the 1975 album "Blue Jays." Justin and John collaborated on this excellent album when the Moody Blues took a hiatus in the 1970s.
This was my beautiful wife’s rescue song. She had Alzheimer’s and as the disease progressed I would play this and she would come back for a few minutes. I give thanks for this music and it’s healing. Every time I hear it I see this beautiful woman. I love you Niki.

I heard this tune when it came out in the spring of '75.I was finishing my senior year of high school and waiting for the day I'd leave for the Marines.This song makes me think of a girl who sat two rows across from me in consumer finance classs.We met,fell in love and this october we'll celebrate thirty-two years of marriage.So many great memories,two wonderful,grown kids,and I Love her just as much if not more than the day we met..........Life has been good to me....
Went from UK in '75 to do 9mth work in South Africa met the love of my life, and together bought the cd,we are still together after 47 years,and I am still together with Moody Blues since '64,what a great life I have had.
Justin Hayward's voice is like a soaring eagle. One of the most recognizable voices in Rock history. 😍
Justin Hayward is the most talented songwriter of this generation. No one compares to his range. Also, he and his mates are wonderful singers! I just listen to this timeless music, and I feel better about everything. Thank you Moodies for all your beautiful music.

This is what I call real music. A nice acoustic ballad about love. They should play this more often on the radio instead of that bling bling booty popper music they play nowadays.
Every time I hear this song, it brings me to TEARS, it reminds me of the Love I still have for my wife who has been gone 10 years. Thank you Justin.

Blue Jays is a lush, majestic album with impeccable production and beautiful guitar lines.... Justin's soaring, smooth as silk vocals and rich string backing. just a beautiful album from start to finish. wish they made more like it.
this is new to me. It's very refreshing to hear these arrangements, chords, etc. Modern technology has stripped the warmth, uniqueness and charm from music

More than any other Moody Blues song, which are fantastic, this collaboration between Justin and John is my ultimate song more than any song they wrote for the Moody Blues. This song is from Bluejays. The ultimate love song. Perfect in every way imaginable.
Hayward and Lodge were the vocal masters of the Moodys, Pinder and Edge were the cream on the cake!

Best song on the album although all of them are priceless. Every time I listen to this song I go back in time to the exact moment when I first heard this album. There is such a thing as time machine when you listen to this.

I think when i first heard this song i ws blown away at how talented 1 must be to write this.Then i said.....simple....Justin is!!
i've been in love with justin's music since i was 12,it's odd to see this video and the one for what am i doing here...it's like seeing your past life dream in a movie...i was a noble woman from ireland,who lost her mom young and took care of the village,also her father in the castle on the hill. she sat on rocks by the seashore in love with a handsome brave knigh on his white horse,but he never noticed until she was older and on her rock one day brushin her golden hair and she turned to smile.

When this came out, this was surprisingly one of my favorite Moody Blues albums, even though at the time they were not the group the Moody Blues.
I remember listening to this 45 in my dorm room my first year in college. Loved this song back then, still do!
