I was lucky enough to be Pop Music Marketing Manager at Decca Records UK in 1975 and our team were invited by Justin and Jon to the first playing of their album. When this song came on I unashamedly had tears. It’s a pleasure to work with something you care for and as an added bonus Justin and Jon were a pleasure to work with. Still moves me today.
At now 40 yo, I've been listening to Justin and the Moodies since I can remember. My mom and dad were teenagers in the late 60s and early 70s and raised their kids right and showed us all the best music. Moodies was/is always my favorite. And now as a parent myself, I love listening to Moody's albums with my own child. I listened to the whole Blue Jay's album just yesterday. It's has the most beautiful arrangements and lyrics. Thank you Justin! ❤️
Like your parents I started following the Moody Blues in the 1960s... and have followed them ever since. Last saw them in concert in Nottingham about 12yrs ago but frequently listen to their great songs on RUclips.🙂
I can almost see the 19 year old in him again as he plays. Life has kicked the stuffing outta me (64 now) and almost killed me couple years ago. At some point you look around not only at all the groups and single acts you grew up listening to, and you think the ones still alive and kicking have run out of things to say or did too many drugs or other silly things... just got too old etc. And here is brother Justin still singing like always, with enthusiasm and vigor and a real love for the music and his craft... and sharing with us once more his message and stories in music. This whole tired, angry world just needs to stop whatever they're doing and listen to The Moody Blues and Justin Hayward and relax and love one another more. I've said this over and over through the years... guess I always will. God bless our brother Justin, his energy and most of all, his love for us all. Heaven has a special place for him and his bandmates.
Listening to this music helps one transcend the real fear that one might no longer have the means to flush the toilet. We live live in a sick world today.
One of these days Justin is going to be recognized for the special entertainer, songwriter and good person that he is. I could listen to him all day and I pretty much do on RUclips 😊.
This was "the one" that sealed the deal for me; I remember it so clearly now. I was in the 4th grade and I would hear this on the radio and I was in love! 🥰 Then I discovered that this bundle of magic was the same godly man who also sang Nights which I always heard on my radio before going to bed as that DJ used to close his show with it nightly and after the gong it was "lights out". Thank you Justin for a life full of memories of you and dreaming of hearing your voice!❤❤❤
Love this always and forever... it's one of the many reasons why I just had to buy Blue Jay's... I'm a Libra ⚖️ and very romantic in my head ...trouble is I never have been able to share this love only for the man and his music who set me free!!❣️😍
What a voice! And still handsome as ever! Saw you at Sun City, South Africa in 1995, fourth row from the front. Unforgettable! Thank you for still singing
Only from one who is a romantic could lyrics as beautiful and in-depth as these be written, and understood best by one who is a hopeless romantic. And, Justin, you alone with your guitar...the perfect setting/delivery of "I Dreamed Last Night"! Thank you for sharing this video! 💕
I remember the first time I heard this song! It’s as beautiful now as it was then, gets even better with time! Justin thank you for your gift of songs! I’m forever grateful!
Oh,where are the times when we could dream.Gone with the wind.😊😊😊 But always glad to hear such lyrics deep from someone's heart. Thank you Sir. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
So nice to hear this rendition! One of my top 5 Justin/John songs…the album version and arrangement still give chills…so powerful and expansive. A masterpiece.
Thank you for the beautiful songs that you have written, no one has such a distinct and heartfelt voice such as yours. Just love listening to you, Thank you again!
That was me calling you softly Justin, when I was young and loving all your romantic songs. I love watching and listening to just Justin singing. Justin, you still remain at the top of my list of a singer and songwriter. No one can compete with you...no one. You are such a romantic and wrote beautiful songs. I loved you then and I love you now hearing you sing and perform. You probably hear many women calling your name.
Been a fan since 1967. Although I am a year older I always looked up to the romantic vision, sense of truth and wisdom in your music. Please come back to Monterey Bay one more time, love to see you then.
Gorgeous song and so well done then and now. It's hard to pick a favorite from the Blue Jays album, if there could be a "regret" it would be that Justin and John chose not to do a second album.
I was a MB fan since 1969 and when they took a break after 7th Sojourn, I was so happy to see the Blue Jay's album on the record store it is still one of my favorites❤
It is actually not a Moody's song. He and John Lodge recorded this during a sabbatical the Moody Blues took. It was from the album "Blue Jays" a reference to both of their names staring with J. A truly epic album.

Pure genius, pure quality. Beautifully sung and played, diction superb and no need for subtitles!
Another beautiful song from Justin. How wonderful it is to listen to 😅.
Justin Hayward -- nothing else needs to be said. Truly one of the all-time greats. What a privilege to live in his music.
Possibly my favorite song he has ever written!
The man with the golden voice. This version was almost even better than the one with strings.

Wow, my heart aches... thank you dear man

he and the Moodies are one of the very rare groups brought together by Divine Intervention...even God must listen to music...
I agree this song was meant to be heard.
@@carlfowler1996 as with so many of their songs as well as a lot of their solo material
💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🙏🙏🙏

Got to see him in June 2024 here in Phoenix Az at the Celibrity Theatre
On a Tuesday Afternoon
Love his voice even at 77 years young
One of my favorite Justin's songs! I've said before he & The Moody Blues are so underrated & underappreciated!
But not by us... ;-)

Listening again to this beautifully crafted song with Justin's gentle and sincere lyrics.. Love it. Thanks Justin 06/24
Asking me what’s my favourite Justin song is like asking who’s my favourite child. Impossible. Thank you Justin and MBs. God bless.
What hath God wrought? Such a beautiful, beautiful voice!!!!

I get a “dose” of the Moody Blues everyday since I bought “Days of Future Passed”, back in 1968.
What a voice! And still handsome as ever! Saw you at Sun City, South Africa in 1995, fourth row from the front. Unforgettable! Thank you for still singing
I have always loved this song..
Love this stripped down acoustic version

You are magic.
I remember the first time I heard this song! It’s as beautiful now as it was then, gets even better with time! Justin thank you for your gift of songs! I’m forever grateful!
Stunning. It would be great if Justin and John got together and performed Blue Jays on the road, along with the usual Moodies hits.
A song to listen to under crystal-clear blue skies on a perfect summer day, a lush and airy tune.
Oh,where are the times when we could dream.Gone with the wind.😊😊😊
But always glad to hear such lyrics deep from someone's heart.
Thank you Sir.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
unfreakin real.. His voice and passion are right there. , right now !!
I do believe he is a hopeful romantic!💖

One of my favorite moodies songs. Justin still sounds great.
It is actually not a Moody's song. He and John Lodge recorded this during a sabbatical the Moody Blues took. It was from the album "Blue Jays" a reference to both of their names staring with J. A truly epic album.
Beautiful song. Loved your music since you started decades ago.

Beautiful 🌟✨💫💖
So very very nice.
A Rozine pop story 👍👍👍👍🎸🎸🎸🎸
❤❤❤❤❤
Beautiful heart. What did I say? ; )
I'm going to faint
I like this better than the album version, because the orchestration is so overdone. It overwhelms the charm of the song.
👌 Blue Jays should reform!
Lovely and poignant.
Very poignant....
