Cheers from Dave down under in Australia...
Yeah. Justin played acoustic guitar, Lol Creme & Eric Stewart played electric guitars and Kevin Godley was on drums. This was like 1970. Then after a few years, Justin rediscovered it and the orchestral overdubs and John Lodge’s bass were included onto the track.
I remember going on holiday with my ex and our children this was playing in the car. we drove past where he lived and i said the only man i would ever marry was justin haywood, im still single.😂😂😂😂
I’m an American woman and Justin is the most handsome man in music that I’ve ever seen. He also seems like a good person and he’s very talented. I know that women all over the world adore 🥰 him.
I saw JH&JL in 1976 when I was working at the Apollo in Glasgow; this was my Mum's favourite song at the time and I asked them to autograph a programme for her. They not only did, but signed it "To Andy's Mum" - she was delighted with that.
Hayward and Lodge in Moody blues, Brilliant, DAYS OF FUTURE PAST, my fave album, when you listen to it you leave the your troubles behind just for a little while😌
Folks, They're singing about the Lord Jesus Christ. Had the Blue Jays 8 track in High School 1975. This is live and pretty amazing. Check out the studio cut, just amazing and beautiful. The ending guitar rift, wow.
A depiction of a that one man on the moon alone or a lonely man on earth looking for love…love double meanings in wonderful songs like this…the moodies will always reign supreme in classical rock..their music is truly moving and spiritual and lifts me up everytime I hear them!
Thank you. I loved this track. In 1975 all my friends were mad over disco (so was I) but this really touched me. I would play it over and over again. Beautiful. Great memories.
1975; the original recording was made by Justin with the four members of 10cc (Lol Creme, Kevin Godley, Graham Gouldman and Eric Stewart) at Strawberry Studios in Stockport, with Tony Clarke and 10cc producing. Released by Threshold under the Blue Jays name. Lodge actually didn't play on the session, but does in live performance. A great song, nonetheless.
this was one of the inspirations for learning guitar in the 70's! cheers guys. I saved up my pocket money and rushed down the local record shop to get the 45! Played it over and over on my parents new Hifi!

How wasn't this as big as forever autumn oh yeh cuz it wasn't in a classic musical or concept album, this is just superb from one of most underated musicians of all time, and most underated guitarist
Fantastic song and singer beautiful.
Takes me back to the 70s . Brilliant song
Another brilliant duo, brilliant album and brilliant single
What a voice!
55 years of love and music has been in my life
This song puts my feet back on the ground!! Their music never ages!!!!
Goosebumps...beauty all around. 🎶
This song is brilliant.
I love that John Lodge is entirely on board with this song. He wasn't involved with its recording at all but i happy to support his mate and include it in their joint project
They are a class act - that's why they are unsurpassed in every way. My favorite forever!.....
Lodge added bass to it after it was recorded.
... yes , Andy, and if i were John, I'd be looking at Justin, not quite knowing where and when or how my luck began, but always be so greatfull for the opportunity that this very good fortune continues, and our collaboration keeps on producing such beautiful music as this...
10 cc were the backing musicians .
Great song in 1975 when I was a teen still sounds great
Justin and John both look so good in this video.
So fine!!!!! Stunning voice, soft singing. He is a beautiful man...🥀🥀🥀🥀...2022...
The quiet passion of these guys and the joy in their faces "priceless "🥰
Always awesome! ❤
Two wonderful songwriters, vocalists and musicians. And both such attractive men!
Fantastic song. Sounds better as the years go by.
Sound of Justins Fab voice and amazing Guitar playing combined , WOW,
Wow this is such a gorgeous song
John Lodge what a great companion all these years to Justin...Here being bombarded with glitter but keeps it moving!! Good Sport!!
And looking like noddy holder. But great song nevertheless.
What a beautiful song sung by the bestx
I remember going on holiday with my ex and our children this was playing in the car. we drove past where he lived and i said the only man i would ever marry was justin haywood, im still single.😂😂😂😂
I’m an American woman and Justin is the most handsome man in music that I’ve ever seen. He also seems like a good person and he’s very talented. I know that women all over the world adore 🥰 him.
I almost forgot John Lodge. He’s handsome too and he has a wonderful smile.
Remember first hearing this all those years ago, and knew this was going to be one of my favourite songs of all time. Absolutely brilliant!
Kto jeszcze słucha.2024.
Get gooses when I hear this beautiful song 🎼🎼🎼
This song is wonderful.
Why do Beautiful people have to get old?
It’s the way of the world!
I saw JH&JL in 1976 when I was working at the Apollo in Glasgow; this was my Mum's favourite song at the time and I asked them to autograph a programme for her. They not only did, but signed it "To Andy's Mum" - she was delighted with that.
John lodge is gorgeous now.
I was only fifteen when I first saw, Him on
Top of the Pops.
He can sing as well as being Handsome as well
OMG, LAY back close your eyes and remember those days, if it doesn't melt your heart, nothing will,
Oh so true.....melts my heart with these two....wow...incredible in every way
Hayward and Lodge in Moody blues, Brilliant, DAYS OF FUTURE PAST, my fave album, when you listen to it you leave the your troubles behind just for a little while😌
Folks, They're singing about the Lord Jesus Christ.
Such a brilliant song.
Gorgeous John Lodge, and his curly hair ❤
Justin, I love this song! It’s amazing! I love you!
UNFORGETABLE!!! I was old 18 years, but I still ear them so often and everywhere
Thank you. I loved this track. In 1975 all my friends were mad over disco (so was I) but this really touched me. I would play it over and over again. Beautiful. Great memories.
All I can say is nothing, goosebumps and I'm speechless 😲❤️❤️❤️❤️
1975; the original recording was made by Justin with the four members of 10cc (Lol Creme, Kevin Godley, Graham Gouldman and Eric Stewart) at Strawberry Studios in Stockport, with Tony Clarke and 10cc producing. Released by Threshold under the Blue Jays name. Lodge actually didn't play on the session, but does in live performance. A great song, nonetheless.
They're not actually playing here.
Blue Coyot
Thanks for that info. I always thought this was a great song, performance and recording.
Only found this out yesterday. Serves me right for not paying attention to my sleeve notes.
Saw them live at Leeds university
luv this song...and the boyz look soooo adorable...
Deep inside, he is an angel. His voice is calm and soothing, take's me way back, ah, the love's, so soft and tender...🥀🥀🥀🥀...2022...
Great song..two members from a legendary band..
WOW! I distinctly remember when I watched this on TV when it originally aired! Never thought I would see it again. THANKS FOR SHARING!
Perfect! Just look at those dimples and the guitars of course!
I love watching this video!
this was one of the inspirations for learning guitar in the 70's! cheers guys. I saved up my pocket money and rushed down the local record shop to get the 45! Played it over and over on my parents new Hifi!
Good to hear this again ✌️
Great Song one of the best
Oh, what a beautiful song.
Love this with the 2 J’s in Blue Jays Justin and John singing together in this video, its iconic, I love watching these 2 together on this very classic 70's video...they're so abs dishy 💖 💕🎸🎵🎶🎵
One of the most under rated MB songs ever!
It's not a Moody Blues song.
@@jakelm4256
Yes, it's a 10cc song.
It was written by Justin and recorded in a studio in Stockport with 10cc

10mb.
Its Justin Hayward and John Lodge a song written by Justin for their spin off band called The Blue Jays 10cc were in the backing group and production John and Justin are the main vocalists of the Moody Blues who formed this band and are clearly portrayed singing their hearts out here..love this clip and their beautiful blonde hair at its best. 💕😍
For me, it was John Lodge …. Great writer, bass guitarist and so handsome ❤
Poor John getting all the tinsel. Justin just sang and looked like a darling! 🥰❤️🎸
Johns hot too
I just love this music!
Love my Blue Jays. So lovely to listen to and look at....sigh. 💓💓💓
This evening is a tour de force of Blue Jays, Justin Hayward, and Ray Thomas music. Three classy troubadours that made up a musically influential part of my life now gently calm my transition to the realm of Morpheus.
Merry Christmas
