That is the best looking field all-purpose knife I have seen. Very well done.
Great video, Cole! One tip, when drilling your pin hole, I recommend you just touch the tang with the drill then remove it and drill through the wood and go back and drill your tang hole separately with one size bigger drill bit. Pushing against the tang can flex the bit and make a larger hole in the wood, and using a larger bit on the tang allows you some wiggle room. Great build though! 👍
Thank you Denis! I will definitely take the advice!
Man, you have that thing, where you see things as they should be. You definitely have a gift.
Thank you Mitch!
I really like the handle on this knife.

Awesome Video! recently, I've been taking some knife forging classes. I'm going to try to set up my own small coal forge in my driveway. Can't wait to see some of your other techniques and try em out
Awesome man im glad the video helped! the newer videos i will be putting out will be getting a lot more into forging.
Great knife Cole! It was very good decision to make hourglass handle shape- most of my knives based on this shape. It's more time consuming but I think it's the most ergonomic and comfortable. Nice job!
Thanks David!
Nice knife.
Thank you Gerald!
Nice intro.
Thank you Larry!
@@Wengelsworkshop are you rebranding? I noticed a name and logo change
I don't know if I would call it rebranding as much as just changing the name. But I may switch the channel name back to wengels workshop. I'm undecided
Heard that metal cuts metal, while sharpening, do you also consider these knifes to cut through?
Good looking skinning knife!
Christ Bless!
Thank you sir!
@@Wengelsworkshop Yes Sir! Keep at it!
If it becomes too much like work, take a break. It's too good of an art, to get burned out on. The main reason I don't take orders.
Christ Bless!
Incrível parabéns irmão
Obrigado Augusto!
@@Wengelsworkshop 👏🏻🙌🏻👍🏻
Excellent knife friend, I liked the handle, good work with that, what did you put on the blade before tempering? Greetings from México..
Thank you Rodrigo! It is a heat resistant refractory cement.
@@Wengelsworkshop ok thanks, I have also made some knives, maybe you could give some advice or suggestions .. Thanks

Great knife, great video. No maker's mark?
lol yes you are right. i have started marking my knives at this point but earlier when i was either keeping the knife or selling it to a friend i didnt have a way of marking it yet.
@@Wengelsworkshop Gotcha. I just watched one of your more recent vids and saw it. Really nice. As someone who watches a lot of knife making vids, it's always cool to see what mark the maker has chosen to represent themselves. The process is fun to watch as well!

Can I guy this?
Actually yes. I was about to make it available on my Instagram. Dm me on there and we could talk details. Thanks
