Seeing kratos begging to be free from his torment it's actually painfull and this is the first time i see him like this

He's been asking the gods to erase his nightmares including his memories just to start over after he defeated Ares.
But the gods as usual being a prick used kratos as their pet, making false promises making kratos so pissed in GOW2

Am sorry you are completely wrong Entire God of war series itself started from those memories and because of that only Olympus has fallen .
Sad that after 3 all Kratos wanted to do was be left alone to die but was cursed to live with his torment. He basically cursed himself and it isn't until 4 which is so far into the future that Kratos can finally live with himself.

Feel really bad for kratos though, he just wants peace but can't due to the higher gods... I guess once he embraces his past and accept that he is a god of war, i guess he'll then unlock peace and maybe ascend as a higher god

I like that it mentioned Kratos' curse that gives him immortality. Alot of people forget Kratos was cursed with eternal life just so he can suffer for all eternity

My theory is that the primordial fire in the blades are sentient and when Ares binded Kratos with them, they irreversibly bonded to his soul. That's how they keep coming back unexpectedly.

This is the entirety of the comic series. There is no more, I’m thinking they’ll make it into a game. Or release another comic series before Ragnarok releases

@@da_figaro8723 This is between 3 and 4. Issue one takes place almost right after God of War 3 ended where the camera panned over Greece was destroyed and a trail of blood was seen. In other words it takes place right after Athena removes the blade of Olympus from him
I don’t understand, how did kratos get the blades of chaos back? Aries took the blades of chaos when he sucked kratos into his pocket realm in gow 1. Then Athena gave him the blades of athena and she turned them into the blades of exile in gow3. Did they just appear due to the curse after he threw himself from the cliff in god of war 3?

Ty is takes place between gow3 and gow4? My brother loves gow4. So I thought about getting him the art books, the novel, and the comics. Or should I wait until tagnotak and new merchandise will come out. , I also really want to play the Greek gow collection so I thought about getting him psnow.
Yes, this does take place between God of War 3 and 4. A T-Shirt of God of War Ragnarok is already out. They might have some other stuff already out too. It’s going to be at least, AT LEAST another 4 months until the game releases. So keep that in mind

Did you find a official god of war ragnorak on playstation gear store or should I check santa monica studios? I will keep my eye out for more merch and save it for christmas 2022 or his b day.

The blade are not chained on him, as you can see he can holster them on his back in the games whitout them showing any chains attached to the handles. I think in combat the chains are magical an attach to the swords on command

Kratos' birth place in the land of the pharaohs? Interesting. Apparently this is the one quote that has a lot of people thinking Kratos is a black man along with his voice actor being black. And he has these people know nothing of history and how the Greeks extended their culture into Egypt and basically started integrating with the people there with their own.
I find it funny that people are trying to use this one panel from this comet gets proof that Kratos is black, yet it can be so easily picked apart and proven wrong. No in another world if we did get a black cradles underneath the ashes, I honestly wouldn't care.
And it shouldn't matter what color of the skin is voice actor is because they're both awesome. But the fact that people are actually saying this is proof that fredo's is black and are trying to say anybody who says otherwise are ignorant and racist is absolutely fucking bonkers.

@@lastround2357 I’m not watching all of it but from first one seems to essentially be “I don’t like it because it’s not the exact same thing it was for the other 3 main games” which is fair. I personally enjoyed seeing Kratos grow as a person. That’s what I like in games, good story, and God of War 2018 delivered. Also, though I haven’t played it, he is the only person I have ever heard complain about the combat in that game. I don’t really care if he just didn’t like how it was done. Everyone has different opinions. Also, may I point out that being one of a few people that say it’s bad and then proceeding to say that it’s overrated and that everyone else is wrong is kind of amusing.
