Sadly SSM kinda became lazy now. I kinda wished they'd made 2 games for the Egypt saga. They don't even have to be long, just Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta type of length.
And instead of using only the new engine, they could mix it with both.
@@sandwich3989 Ragnorok is bigger than any of the previous God of War games, and most game as a matter of fact, in all aspects. Seems kind of unfair to call them lazy when they gave us a mountain of a game.
@@Mohammed-yc6nn I... never mentioned Ragnarök bruh. But calling Ragnarök the biggest God Of War game is the most mad stretch ever. GoW 3 and 2 are arguably better. Ragnarök at times had pretty wack pacing, so much unnecessary dialogue, felt more of a movie than a game and the war Ragnarök itself was basically a 30 minute fodder. They spent hours making a section where Atreus and Angrboda pick up fruit instead of investing time into the war they marketed the game with (or making us learn more of the giants since we were in damn Ironwood, a place Odin would've died to find) So much plot holes, and the restrictions they have are worse.

His nightmares have ceased after forgiving himself for killing Lysandra and Calliope and being forgiven by them.
This is a new burden now. Destiny.

@@Creshen well he thought the fight was beneath him but most of his fights are with magic weapons he torr the hippo apart frome the inside out wen he got the blades of chaos again pluses he was 💢.
Yeah but, to be fair he was extremely fatigued & exhausted. He didn't even want to fight & he wasn't even worried about fighting the hippo. Until he thought, "Ah fck it, may as well fight & get it done & over with." That was his attitude when he decided to fight. If anything, the hippo knocked some sense into him 😂😂😂
Well the hippo has super durability and the comic was trash because kratos let his guard down if he didn't he would have done the kick.

@@laundrybaskets4473 I'm fairly certain Cory was joking, especially since it makes no sense timeline wise, because he has weapons he wouldn't have had at that point, and even talks about Athena, which again would make no sense if it's after GoW 3, but he wouldn't have the weapons anyway (apart from Blades of Chaos) so I don't know, I think it was a joke.

This was written very fast and loose and tbh, doesn't help fill in the time gaps. Just a bunch of vague lines about having to embrace destiny and what not with nothing interesting to be said nor developed.

This doesn’t seem how Kratos would react to these situations at all, not to mention the way the writer makes him talk. I can see most of this happening, just not exactly the way the author wrote it. Maybe we just remember a different Kratos, that is, if the writer even played the previous games.
So is kratos supposed to act the same way forever?

@@--COSMIC- I have played all the old games, including the psp ones and ascension. I know how kratos acts in those games. They wanted to give him a character arc beyond those games. I don’t think it is ever confirmed exactly how much time is between gow3 and 4 but it’s pretty clear Kratos wandered for the majority of his life after the trilogy. He is forced to grow and act different by the cycle he continually finds himself in
@@MrRocking145 all I said was the way the author writes Kratos’s voice lines in the comic doesn’t seem true to how he’d actually react. I’m okay with the way Kratos turned out in the newer games.
