Wonderful Chateau. Vivian has designed two Chateaux over 20 years, so she has a detailed, rich but relaxed style. I love the funny touches added in. It is great that one day there will be 7 or 8 bedrooms completed. ❤
The difference between the two vlogs with and without the B roll is a great study in editing. You and Stephanie could do a workshop at Lalande. Viviane could do a workshop on building an online Chateau shop. See all of her beautiful items.
I absolutely love Simon and Vivienne's style. It is warm, comfy, cozy, and interesting. It doesn't take itself too seriously. However, there are points of serious high-end antiques and objects of beauty and art. I love it! A wonderful amalgamation of American and European sensibility. 🥂🍾🎆❤️🔥
I think that a home is a reflection of the people/family who live in it so to say that this is a most amazing chateau is a direction reflection of what wonderful people reside in it. I swear it isn't fair that some people get all of the talent, beauty and fascinating lives while the rest of us can't draw a straight line and live in tiny apartments. I would be a bit bitter over it but since you are kind enough to share a little of yourselves and your home then I guess I will still have to think you are wonderful. lol
A couple in NY lived in a tiny one bedroom apartment and 50 years ago bought cheap paintings from young artists. They had OK jobs, but not great. They later had dealers look for them, only bargains of strange new artists. They hung paintings on the ceiling when they ran out of room on the walls and stacked them under the bed. A new wing of a museum is opening up for their collection, which they are leaving to the world.

There is so, so much to be impressed with inside and out of Vivienne and Simon's unique Belle Epoque Château de la Croix-Boisée. I love the range of periods and styles of the beautiful furnishings but of it all I am in awe of the Limoges porcelain plates that Vivienne so perfectly hand-painted with various colorful birds and greenery.

What a beautiful chateau! Vivian is incredibly talented as well as Simon. Those plates are absolutely gorgeous! The kitchen is genius!!! Vivian said she installed the peacock mosaic..does that mean she created it herself? It’s glorious! I just love the fireplace mantle in the kitchen! Actually I love everything about the chateau!!!
