@@AT-kx6fj it would be pretentious if her gestures were unnatural except, what you see is what you get with Stephanie. I recommend you watch other videos where she intersects with her close family and friends and she’s the same. Most Europeans are lively people and this lady always shows an enviable gusto for life. Kudos to her. I imagine meeting her and being welcomed like a long lost friend. That’s a rare quality in a person.

That actually seems a really fair price, I live in an area of the US where prices are absurd - 3 bedroom houses going for a million or close to it! Much rather own a beautiful chateau all ready to move into! Thank you for showing us all this beautiful chateau and good luck to the current owners, I hope someone who loves the property moves in and does something amazing with it!

I cannot believe that a chateau like that on that much land and so close to everything is only €1,250,000. Not that €1.25mm isn’t a lot of money but where I am that might get me (what you’d call) a flat or a terrace house. No wonder so many people love to move to France. Also, great tour! Thank you! ❤ 🇨🇦

It's shocking, in some remote areas of France you can even get a large more farmhouse or even manor house plus land for 250k.....!!! (sometimes though the upkeep can cost a lot more than a house in the US etc....)... yet also in France there are laws about how even chateau cannot exceed a certain amount..... it's crazy how houses of this magnitude here might be over 20 million in the US, maybe England?!

    Thanks for the wonderful tour.
One and a quarter million euros seems pretty reasonable, at least by American standards. The Château looks to be in good condition and well maintained too. Keep going, this is great for chateaux across France and there are so many that need restoring or simply maintaining. It's amazing to me how many châtelains I follow who I discovered through Stephanie. They all have their own unique vlogs based around their château. Renovation is usually part of it since so many need restoring and it also provides content. Who wouldn't want to see restored, something as lovely as châteaux?
As for Stephanie's journeys, I can't imagine what could possibly stop her for the foreseeable future. There are so many Lalande projects left unfinished or even begun, the lake, Nattie's space, the china pantry, the pool, the chapel, the exterior renovations, the gardens, just to name a few. I'm down for it all. We're all going to be watching you for years to come. I wonder what your magazine, TV series and first movie and book will be called.

After searching diligently all the stores that carried material, I found the same material as my cape was made of and I made a jacket. So I ended up with a three piece suit. I just loved that suit.

I agree it's so pretty with the antique glass panes. I have some original ones in my old flat and love the way they slightly warp the views of the rooftops outside. That must have been hard to catch on camera!

What a wonderful treat. I could spend another lifetime wandering around, about and through French chateaux and manor houses regardless of their condition, from derelict roofless ruins to perfectly renovated and finely furnished treasures. Not only is this chateau for sale a charmer and a beauty, it’s also surrounded by a landscape that serenely echoes that of my Napa-Sonoma Valley wine country heritage. On an emotional level I’d buy it in a heartbeat. On a practical level, being widowed without children I’d be a bit overwhelmed wandering about a chateau of that size and grandeur on my own. A lovely but more modest manor home in the French countryside would be more suitable if I seriously decided to sell both my primary and mountain home properties to make a late-in-life transition. Ah, but it’s a joy to look through the lenses of Stephanie’s camera, to enjoy watching and rewatching the videos… and of course dream those big dreams. I’m looking forward to many more deliciously mind-bending tours and tales seen through the entertaining eyes of this new channel. Bravo, and encore!

That’s a really great price for that property! I hope some one buys it and continues the renovations. What an amazing venue for weddings!

Stephanie, in an other life you could have had a career in Television as a host/presenter, without a doubt you have a natural talent. Wonderful viewing, congratulations 👏🎉

So beautiful. It would be nice as a family home . I love the ivy around the windows. I think I would make the kitchen bigger also. You could contract it out to the film industry and for photo shoots . The chapel was lovely. The bedrooms were so charming.Philip did you see the Welsh Terrier pups? I had one they are adorable. Like little steiff stuffed animals. Wonderful vlog Stephanie! Great camera work Philip!
