Saw 8 of Windham's 'Tell The Bees' fabrics in my latest mag and thought of you. Love the contents of your parcel and T-shirt quilt. My 17 kit bags helped latest total of 258 in a few days given out to local ICU nurses, Hospice and Care Home workers. Going to stitch Gail Pan's 'Bee Brave' next and get back to my hand quilting for a change☺
Making bias tape was making me crazy😜...So I bought some 1/4” twill tape on Amazon. 300 yd/$25. It works! Thanks for all your wonderful shows! You make my ❤️ very 😊‼️
Glad you are keeping safe and busy creating. I enjoyed seeing the quail cut out and look forward to the finished cushion. We have extended our lock down in the UK so no trips to the quilt shop for a while yet. I often go on the bus. Its a lovely ride alongside the river Thames, through fields of sheep with their new born lambs frolicking in the sun. One of my greatest pleasures is to see a sea of bluebells growing in a wooded area of silver birch trees. I am making a cat quilt using left over Kaffe Fasset fabrics from a king size quilt ( actually a lot of blue bell shades in it ) and will just need to buy for the border. Having fun naming each cat according to the design. Better let me out soon ! lol
Such a fun show! How lucky we are that you like and use our light table, yay!😘 Your T-shirt quilt turned out so nice with the sashing and border. OH my, I love the background fabric that you picked out. Super adorable pillowcase kits, you find the best stuff! Love your pile of "quilty kindness" goodies from The Olde World Quilt shop. The tree ornament hooks are wonderful. How fun to include one with a handmade ornament. We used to raise quail and golden pheasants 40 some years ago, so I really enjoyed seeing Gambel's Quail....simply darling. Thank you for all the happy sunshine you bring into our homes ❤️🌷🐝
T-shirt quilt looking fabulous Anna ..love the quail. The fabrics you have for the scrub hats are lovely ...I’ve been sewing masks and did one with Wonder Woman fabric 😃...pity I didn’t have the hot chilli 🌶. 😂🤣 I’ve suffered separation issues dipping into my stash 😢 😂 but it’s been rewarding with the fun it’s brought..like the donuts 🍩and the spiders to name a few . We MIGHT come out of lockdown Thursday. We have been very lucky here in NZ . Stay safe 😘💐
I always enjoy your videos and looking around your Bee Hive while you are visiting with us. There are so many wonderful quilters and stitchers providing free video classes during this quarantine it is hard for me to make anything. I'm totally enjoying all of you and your unselfish ideas. I'm basking in learning while having to stay at home.
Hi Anna. Like the way your t-shirt quilt came out. You're friend will really enjoy it. Would like to see one of your scrub caps when you're done. If you think Sisters is small now you should have been there about 50 years ago when I was in school. There was only about 500 people in the town at that time. Thank you for posting videos for us during our time of staying in place.
Thanks for the suggestion about chocolate. 😀 I actually made my stitch pilllow today! Thanks to your video. It was really weird how it’s sewed together. I feel much better now that I accomplished something. Thanks for the boost.❤️
Hi, I enjoy your company so much. I have travelled much of your country with my friends from Montana e.g Mount Rushmore. So you contribute to a wonderful walk down memory lane for me. Josie from Ballarat Victoria Australia
You did a great job on the t-shirt quilt. I have 3 sizes of the bias makers and love them, they are the best. Have the bias bars, but didn't like them.... so many quilty gadgets I don't use after spending money on them. You are a lucky gal to get such a lovely kindness pkg....I was in awe seeing all those lovely things that were in there. That background wool piece for your bird is gorgeous....love it !! You got me thinking about making pillowcases for all the little ones in the family who can't go to school to see their friends.....might make them smile. I certainly have plenty of stash to do so. Stay well Anna. HUGS
Just found your podcast and so enjoyed it. Thank you for showing your technique for your wool and mentioning the products you use. Sisters is such a beautiful town.. I live just a few hours north of you in WA. Heading over to check out your other podcasts. Enjoy your day 😊 Suzette
I also am doing the quail kit and struggled a bit with the pieces not overlapping as some of the looser woven wool in the kit frayed as I stitched and didn’t seem to close the seam properly between the pieces but it still looks ok but wondered if that happened for you as well? The t shirt quilt turned out great! I was thinking of doing that with my granddaughters old favorite t shirts as well. Take care bee well 🐝❤️
I noticed that it might happen and so in those areas I button holed to fill in the gap and sometimes I took a bigger bite in the piece next to it and you can't even see it!
Because you talked about Windham fabrics: There is a fabric store (The Patchwork Company) in Windham, NY- and oh gee, you would sooo get lost in there - they have over 10,000 bolts of (Windham) fabric - and the owners are the absolute best couple ever! Anna - if you ever get a chance to go - I think you’d love it there!
I do jigsaw puzzles on my lap top or computer. I cannot lose pieces that way. I grew up working jigsaw puzzles with my mom, always on the dining room table. And yes my dad would take one piece. It would be the end and that one missing piece would appear. Miss those times.
I watched this video a little late, I can’t find the birds at the old world quilt shop website. 😩 Oh well, I have enough. You got me hooked on wool so I subscribed to Sue Spargo’s BOM Chirp Boom. So I have at least 4 birds to work on. Lol. I just need to get motivated. These days it’s kind of hard. 😢 Take care.
Such a fun video. The Tee shirt quilt has come together beautifully, and I love everything you are working on. Thanks Anna for brightening my day, hugs from Australia.
I enjoyed my time today in the bee hive. Thank you for providing a positive twist to the day. Always look forward to your next adventure in the quilt and stitch world.
Will you make your pillow case with the quail with a zipper or Velcro? I love it I think I may order one from the olde world or stitching post? I'm a beginner but love to try it as a wall hanging..thanks Anna. 🐑🐑🐑
Hi, from Australia! You are such a beautiful warm lady! Love hanging out with you as I hand piece the hours away while my children are on school holidays. Your company makes me feel everything is all OK in our current crazy World xx
Thanks for sharing. I've been making masks and scrub hats too. Today I'm making a pillowcase for my great nephew's 6th birthday. We are sending him lots of cards(and gifts) since he can't have a party. Have a blessed day.
Fabulous Anna , I am also making face masks and I love the different prints. Made my husband one with microbrew bottles on it and he doesn't even drink. We both laughed. Have a great day, thanks.
Thx, Anna, for sharing your stitching life. I am working on making a "first" sewing kit for my grand daughter's 7th birthday....a bag to store items in, a pincushion, a wool needle book, fun buttons to practice sewing on. The t-shirt quilt looks wonderful, nicely done!! Love the backing fabric from Olde World Quilt Shoppe!
I so much enjoy your videos. Your personality reminds me so much of my mom, she left this world a few years ago, and I miss her so much, but your personality, how you get tickled about things, just so many memories pop up about my mom. You make me smile, and your work is beautiful. Love your T-Shirt quilt. And the backing fabric for it is cute. Ty and have a great weekend and a safe one.
Love watching your videos. I also have the same light box as you have. It has so many miles on it and is still in great condition. Keep up the good work.
Anna I enjoy your posts. On the 1 1/2 inch scissors are you measuring just the blade section of the scissors? If so what would be the total size of the scissors? I need new scissors and will get the Kai brand. Be safe and healthy. God bless. 🙏
I so enjoy watching your bee hive videos with my cup of tea what a wonderful break from cleaning out cupboards etc .....yehhhh you can tell I have been house bound to long 😂🇦🇺👍☕️🌍
I love my many crafting hobbies. I just finished making masks for a friend who works in a nursing home. Now on to something else unless more are needed. The T-shirt quilt looks wonderful. Thanks for keeping us company.
I do half crosses over 2 for about 2 inches both sideways and downwards and then measure 1”, count the half crosses and multiply by 2. Works well. When you don’t know for sure what kind of linen it is don’t forget to do the up and down as well to see if it’s an even weave. Does that cordless iron last longer than other irons that steam or does it leak after 6 months to a year? I’m on my second Oliso and it’s 6 months old and leaking already. I’ve tried a lot of less expensive irons that do that by the time they are a year old or less so I decided to buy a more expensive one and it’s no different. How long have you used yours?
I love you Qual pillow kit! I did noy see the link for the masks? Could you please post that for all of us so we can get busy on helping out our local healcare workers and "I need one" for myself" as my dr. Said Om not exactly an athlete any more! He put it kondly to wear a mask! I. WO we are on quarantine 1 more month!
Hi Anna--boy that little quail is so cute. I might want to do him. I have been doing more stitching lately than quilting. I would like to know where you have information on your stitching pillow that you use on your lap. I think I need something like this. My left hand has been going to sleep when I stitch. I need to figure out what I'm doing to cause this. Hope you have a wonderful day!
Hi Anna, can you recommend a beginner wool felt project for me. Your projects are always so beautiful, I thought I would like to give it a try. I do embroidery and cross stitch so I wanted to do a wool felt project. Thanks
Good morning. I started my day with you today and really needed your joy and smiles. The quilt store in town is doing something like your store is. It's nice to know that if you really need something you are able to get it without having to go online. Your T-shirt quilt looks very nice! I really liked your idea of pillowcases as a feel good/lift the spirits of family &/or friends. I used to make lots of them for my grandchildren when they were small. Well loved spending time with you this morning. Have a good day and take care.
Thank you for today's programme. So interesting and inspiring. I am sitting here knitting on a sweater, and my hands are itching to stitch. I am off to do some grocery shopping, first in two weeks, and my first time to wear one of my homemade masks. Stay well. Thank you for your company while I knit. Hugs from Nova Scotia.
I am thinking that would be healthy for all of us! We have lost something we loved dearly...our peace of mind and the freedom to move about at will. Not to mention all the comradery with all of our families, friends and neighbors! You are not alone, just remember that we are all in this together!
Hi Anna. Enjoyed your chat this morning. I had to laugh because I'm having my coffee in my Tucson quail coffee cup as you were making your darling quail. We don't get them in CO, but we were serenaded by the meadowlarks when we arrived back home. Love their melodious song. I finished my grandson's quilt for his 1st birthday. So now onto other UFOs. Maybe we'll be turned loose in 10 days instead of having the lockdown extended. Stay well! PS There is lots of vitamin C in limes, so we are still making preventative margs on occasion! LOL Cheers
I enjoy the variety of projects you work on. I didn't see the pictures or the link to the pattern for scrub hats you made. I've made a few and am looking for different patterns. ❤
You are a busy beaver, and I enjoy seeing you work on your various projects. Sisters is a great place, and I’ve been to the Stitchin’ Post many times. When you were standing ironing your felt pieces, I notice up on your wall on your left side, is a piece of Redwork framed hanging. Wish I could see it closer. I LOVE redwork just as much as cross stitch ( I love all embroidery and hand work). Did you make that redwork picture? Sometime would you take it down and show it closer? I am anxious to see your quail pillow completed for your living room couch. Wish I was your neighbor. Ha! I’ve said that many times.❤️
Your t-shirt quilt looks great and can't wait to see how your quail pillow turns out! Meanwhile, you influenced me to order my own wool pillow project. I just received my "Woolen Holidays Pillow" from Buttermilk Basin! (I saw it in one of your videos!) I'm mostly a quilter and cross stitcher, but I'm going to give this wool applique project a go! Wish me luck! Take care & God Bless! 🥰🤗🙏🏼
Love your T-shirt quilt and your quail. So cute. Been making some masks. I finally finished my stitch pillow. Thank you very much for your video. I love it. I have a pile of unfinished projects on the table next to my machine. Working my way down. Stay safe.
Thank you for sharing your time in the beehive. I've been so busy sewing and going from project to project..strong possibility we maybe under quarantined for an additional month! Oh my. Well I will have more time to sew..may get to finish a cross stitch 😊🤷♀️
Love your Paris wall hanging. It’s a beautiful city. I also live the t-shirt quilt. But I really love the quail wool project. I walk every day and usually see quail sitting on brick walls. They are so cute!! Keep bringing more and note patterns and ideas!!!!
I was watching another video by SewVeryEasy yesterday and she was making scrub caps as well and she was using 2 fat quarters to make them. They were reversible and accommodated long hair as well. There was no folding and seemed very easy. I thought you might want to check it out. Stay safe Anna I look forward to Quilt Roadies and Stitch Roadies.
You mention JoAnne's, so I have to share this with you. I live in Michigan, 3 miles from Indiana where all major stores are. They offer curb side orders for those in IN but because our governor in MI decided fabric is nonessential, they cannot let people from MI to use their curb side service unless it's for face masks! My town has little shopping areas so I can't go to where I normally shop because I live in Michigan!
Anna this was like a mini vacation to shelter in place with you. Love you guys too. Wow the creative juices flow from your enthusiasm. Thanks Anna. PS am making masks but waiting on elastic now.
I really like your tee shirt quilt Anna, the border really makes it pop. I have been making face masks and now I see there is a great need for the scrub caps too. Would love you to share which pattern you used for yours. I really like the modern fun fabrics you picked to make yours. Love visiting with you. Stay well and happy sewing.
The red work embroidery pattern with the three quilts, you have framed in the background is beautiful. Is it possible to still get the pattern? Thank you for being here for us. 💐June
Awesome job on the T-shirt quilt, Anna. Im in the process of a jean/T-shirt quilt for daughter. I am loving the redwork embroidery of the 3 quilts behind you, what is that called? Would love more info on that. Oh, and put those ornament hooks you got in a safe place until you need them. I can see me trying to remember where I put them when it came time to use them. Such a great stitchy kindness haul that was! Have a glorious weekend, we just got more snow overnight, but hopefully a warm up this weekend.
Oh. I need a biase tape maker. But its going to take at least a month to get. Crazy. Hopefully things open up before that. We have a local quilt and sewing shop but the government doesn't consider them essential. They have no idea how essential they are to us
I love listening to you. Your quail is awesome, please show it when you have it finished. Awhile back when you were in Arizona you show a project "Eastmoreland" I got pattern and have it ready to go if yours is done could you show it? If it isn't could you do a video with you working on it? Would love to be working on mine while listening to you .
I always enjoy your podcasts. Thank you for taking the time to show us great ideas. I live in AZ so know where i will be going when we are turned loss!! Keep smiling and stitching!!
Quail are my favorite bird, followed closely by the Hummingbird. The T-shirt quilt turned out fabulous! 28 count is the tightest I will use, 🤭, it's either that or look for coke bottle reading glasses... Your care package is awesome! How wonderful. You're Dad sounds like my Dad, mine would eat one of the easter eggs so we would look for hours for that one missing egg... I am so happy in my hive! Thanks for sharing your video's, we love you too!
I just saw that today and sent the link to my daughter to see if she would like that style. It's so cute. My daughter gave it the thumbs up, so I am going to start making those for her.
I was hoping you'd post the Etsy account so I could buy the pattern for the scrub caps. I have nurses in the family working hard right now. If you get time, please share. Thank you. Jeri
Love the pillowcase kits! I'll have to make those for my great nieces and nephews, which means I have 9 to make! That was one great stitchy kindness package you got! They are so sweet!!
I have made many face mask for family members and for myself. I am an essential worker Love the t-shirt quilt. I am making one for my adult son I get so excited when I see you have another video. I enjoyed listening to you and see what you will be sharing with us. Take care and God Bless
Anna, I enjoyed our time together today, I was working on my Premative Gathering wool project!! First time I have done that!! Will always have something to stitch when I see your video's ...I usually am having coffee ....
Love the T shirt quilt. I need to make one out of the grandson's clothes that he has grown out of. Thank you for sharing and spending your time with us. I am so enjoying sitting stitching and listening and watching what you do. Love and hugs from myself and the family.
I love that you are supporting your local quilt shop. Those pillowcase kits are fabulous.
Beautiful
Oh Anna I love your enthusiasm, it's so contagious. Your pillow will be great. Take a photo when your done. Best wishes.
Making bias tape was making me crazy😜...So I bought some 1/4” twill tape on Amazon. 300 yd/$25. It works! Thanks for all your wonderful shows!
You make my ❤️ very 😊‼️
Great tip!
What a lovely shop. Sometimes we find artists where we least expect it.

New cap fabrics are so fun.
Thanks for the suggestion about chocolate. 😀 I actually made my stitch pilllow today! Thanks to your video. It was really weird how it’s sewed together. I feel much better now that I accomplished something. Thanks for the boost.❤️
Wonderful! you are going to love it!
Hi, I enjoy your company so much. I have travelled much of your country with my friends from Montana e.g Mount Rushmore. So you contribute to a wonderful walk down memory lane for me. Josie from Ballarat Victoria Australia

Anna, Thank you so much for your hospitality! I really enjoy visiting with you and seeing all that you are enjoying in your beehive!
I love seeing all you do. I really enjoy all your vidoes. Love you too Anna. I'm making masks for our local hostipal.
a quilting angel you are
Thank you for the thoughtful video. You really lifted my spirits
Thank you Anna! You helped me find my sewing-jazz today!
Thanks for filming. I love that quail. And thanks for keeping me company. Happy quilting, stitching, cap making and pressing. Until next time...
Anna can you add the link to the scrub hats and the ornament hooks? Thank you. Love your videos and look forward to the chats you bring us.

I enjoyed my time today in the bee hive. Thank you for providing a positive twist to the day. Always look forward to your next adventure in the quilt and stitch world.
Enjoyed this tremendously.. hang in there too. You and G be safe....
Will you make your pillow case with the quail with a zipper or Velcro? I love it I think I may order one from the olde world or stitching post? I'm a beginner but love to try it as a wall hanging..thanks Anna. 🐑🐑🐑
Friends sure make smiles:)))
Always nice to come home from work and visit you my friend and see your projects. Love following you
Hi Anna, Your T-shirt quilt is looking great.
Hi, from Australia! You are such a beautiful warm lady! Love hanging out with you as I hand piece the hours away while my children are on school holidays. Your company makes me feel everything is all OK in our current crazy World xx
Oh thank you!
You make my day Anna. X
Thanks Anna. Having a great time discovering WIPs and also familiar scraps that bring back memories. We'll get through with our crafty things. 😊
Thanks for sharing. I've been making masks and scrub hats too. Today I'm making a pillowcase for my great nephew's 6th birthday. We are sending him lots of cards(and gifts) since he can't have a party. Have a blessed day.

Hi Anna. Where’s the scrub hat link? Did I miss it?
Paris, and France in general, makes my heart sing. ❤️❤️ Such fabulous memories from my trips. 🗼
I so much enjoy your videos. Your personality reminds me so much of my mom, she left this world a few years ago, and I miss her so much, but your personality, how you get tickled about things, just so many memories pop up about my mom. Love watching your videos. I also have the same light box as you have. It has so many miles on it and is still in great condition. Keep up the good work.
We all will have to learn a new normal. I love the bear panel. I am not into t shirts but you did a good job on your cousin’s.
Anna I enjoy your posts. On the 1 1/2 inch scissors are you measuring just the blade section of the scissors? If so what would be the total size of the scissors? I need new scissors and will get the Kai brand. Be safe and healthy. God bless. 🙏
I bought that same kit and just love it
Love your T shirt quilt! The red sets it off:)

I am equating how I am feeling right now, with a form of "grief.". Grieving for what was, I guess. Thank goodness for stitching and quilting.

Beautiful Eiffel Tower wall hanging!!!!! You do such l-o-v-e-l-y work. Fantastic!
🥰🤗🙏🏼
Love you, Anna❤❤❤❤❤stay safe
I have one of her bird kits. Now I want to start it! But I just cut out another pillow kit I got at Old World ! Oh my!
I noticed that you do not use a pressing cloth. Do you ever get a shine on your wool?
For anyone making masks and not finding elastic, instead of bias, try shoelaces. Leah Day youtube tutorial.
Love your T-shirt quilt and your quail. So cute. Been making some masks. I finally finished my stitch pillow. Thank you very much for your video. I love it. I have a pile of unfinished projects on the table next to my machine. Working my way down. Stay safe.
Great to see your face, Anna! Thank you for all the kind things you say & do
Thank you for sharing your time in the beehive.
Would love to see the results of your projects. Have never seen a finished quilt. How about showing us the pillowcases you made for your grandchildren
a finished quilt??? what is that???
Awesome to see Quail come together, love those bird kits at Olde World.
Love me some wool too
Ok what state is sisters at sounds interesting
You mention JoAnne's, so I have to share this with you. I live in Michigan, 3 miles from Indiana where all major stores are. They offer curb side orders for those in IN but because our governor in MI decided fabric is nonessential, they cannot let people from MI to use their curb side service unless it's for face masks! My town has little shopping areas so I can't go to where I normally shop because I live in Michigan!

You can tell he doesn’t appreciate the importance of quilting etc...bet their liquor stores are open......
💐June
You are amazing 😉
That Tee Shirt quilt came out really NICE❤️
I always enjoy your podcasts. Thank you for taking the time to show us great ideas. I live in AZ so know where i will be going when we are turned loss!! Keep smiling and stitching!!
On my linen. I cross stitch over 2 for an inch and then count the stitches. I find it easier than counting the threads. You now have linen!! Yay!
Anna, check out the blackberry rabbit.com website. There is a free Bee Well cross stitch pattern. Big bee in the center surrounded by flowers.
got it!
Thank you for sharing all that you do! I would really like to know where I can buy the Christmas tree hooks that you showed.
I thought of you and the scrub cap the other day. SewVeryEasy posted a simple scrub cap. Thanks for sharing your day!
Thank you. Jeri
Hi Anna, if you were doing a wool wall hanging would you but SP101 on the border?
Your quill is darling.
Love the pillowcase kits! I'll have to make those for my great nieces and nephews, which means I have 9 to make! That was one great stitchy kindness package you got! They are so sweet!!
Does the pillowcase kits have fabric for one or two pillowcases? And can u tell me how much they are? Love watching your videos.
