I've had a lovely time today sitting and stitching with you. The sound of thread being pulled through fabric is so soothing. Your houses are delightful. Happy stitching!
So nice to spend some time with you again today! Is that a bee quilt on your table? Looks adorable from the little glimpses I’ve seen when you move your project. G looks nice and tanned and healthy. Your tree looks really cute. I am going over to check out her website.
Thank you for inviting us to sit at your table. I am very much a loner so this sheltering in place for months hasn't been too difficult for me. I wish I was like you...a real people person so thank you again, Anna, for bringing me along with you.
Anna - thank you for inviting me and others to your table! My daughter had the C-virus early on in March. Not knowing much (since there was not much to know at the time) I was in a panic has to how it would all end with her. She's an adult that still lives at home with us, working at Amazon shipping, and traveling back and forth from PA to NJ to PA each shift. She was tested positive and was out for two weeks. For the first week, my heart was in my throat for most of that time. Then she started feeling better even though she still had to shelter in her room , and was able to retest after two weeks. Negative and she was back to shipping the next day. There are a few web emails that I so look forward to and yours is one. Your visits have helped me find calm in the storm and the understanding that this is the new normal. Thank you!
I so enjoyed sitting and stitching with you at your table, Anna, thank you. I have been pretty much a hermit as well in anticipation of traveling home and, hopefully, seeing some family. A small sacrifice for a great reward! Till next time friend, happy stitching!
I am working on the mugs right now and they are very fiddly and small so watch your 1/4" seam. I also think the box was such a cute added bonus. My houses and trees and outline are all done and now I am just working on the details, house numbers. I added a quilt shop, I added a church and I added my house number and friends house numbers. I just love this project. Loved seeing G pop in for a quick hello. Happy stitching in the beehive.
Anna the day was made so much better by our stitching time together today. I enjoyed “setting” at the table with you and just knowing this time was special and that outside world was not invading this peaceful place. Thank you again.
Anna, thanks for the invitation to sew at your table! When I close my eyes I can hear the laughter from my Wednesday Night Quilters who rotated meeting at each others homes for over fifteen years! Several of our original group have passed away or retired and moved out of the area. I retired and moved to the country 100 miles away...Wednesday nights will never be the same; I still have a glass of ice tea and a brownie or cookie and stitch....that made stitching with you today so heart warming. Love the Lori mug table runner and the houses...that has me on a quest to search my sewing room for some “house fabrics” and create my new little country town. Delightful visit, thank you.
Thank you Anna! It's so nice to see you and to have the opportunity to stitch with you. I haven't been able to sew or quilt because I had the retina in my right eye detach and I was Unable to see. I had a gas bubble in my eye to aid the re-attach me to of my retina, the bubble finally is gone and I can see! Thank God for healing me. Thanks again Anna!
Oh Anna, thank you for a wonderful hour stitching in the Beehive! Made my day! Know that you are never really alone up there, we are always with you. Take care and be well, your grandsons are so lucky to have you!
Love that cup box and the ric rack. We had some of our family in our bubble when in lockdown. I love visiting with you in your stitching bee hive. Happy stitching.
Hi Anna. Thank you for taking the time to make a video for us to enjoy. I love the time listening to you talk as you are stitching. I appreciate feeling your friendship! 💕
I'm so happy I found out about your channel recently. My quilting and cross stitch is getting me through this crazy time we're living in. I have been staying at home and only recently went to my daughter's house to celebrate my 74th birthday with her family. Also got to meet my brand new grandpuppy for the first time. They rescued her in April. That visit felt so special after not being able to visit them for months. My son has been staying with me and it has been so helpful with groceries, etc. Today I finished sewing binding on a quilt for one of my granddaughters. Tomorrow will finish stitching the label and sew a pillowcase to gift the quilt in. See you next video Anna. Nice to meet your better half. Happy stitching. Stay safe!
Oh to be able to stitch and quilt in the beehive ❤️❤️❤️ omg how sweet that table runner will be!. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ thank you for stitching with us! This is so very helpful to me
Lori Holt is my favorite quilt designer. Her fabrics are such happy designs and colors. That box is irresistible! Have fun with your mug rugs. Missing my family so. Soon we will be able to visit our families and hopefully we will appreciate them that much more. This time of desperation has caused a lot of reflection and evaluation of priorities.
Good afternoon! Every time I see you work on those houses, I want to get that pattern and work on it too! I keep thinking I would like to do them in brighter colors to make them beach houses. I got to see my son this past weekend. It was so good to see him. It’s been Christmas since I saw him. And he got out right before the hurricane. So I was glad he was safe at home back in Ohio. Fun stitching with you today. I am working on a mini quilt by Sherri McConnell. I didn’t realize it had so many pieces. But I’m loving it!
Love your tree ! Thank you for keeping me company, while I’m hand stitching the binding on my grandsons baby quilt. He is due to be born tomorrow by c-section. ❤️.
Okay, now I have to see if I can get my hands on both the Kathy Schmitz and Lori Holt designs that you showed! I used to finish each project as I went along but I've turned into Anna Jr. and now I have lots of different projects going all at the same time. I have found that I'm happier when I have a variety of things to choose from and I don't get burned out or tired of working on my projects anymore. Thanks for inviting us to stitch at your table Anna ❤
Thank you for this enjoyable time together. Just like you, and I'm sure everyone else, reminiscing about past memories that we are thankful for. I love the mug box and runner kit, especially the box as you do too. Enjoy your chats so much.
Thanks for letting me sit and stitch with you today. I finished up a punch needle project that will be a gift. Now I’m off to go look for my own neighborhood....love that project! After that, I think I will finish up hand sewing binding on a small wall quilt 😊
Yes, missing family and not being able to gather together with them is difficult. And yes, I definitely miss gathering with my needlework world. Love the little houses - Thanks!
You are exactly right, 'out of sight, out of mind. I found a mini wool applique quilt in one of my hand working containers. I was going through the containers looking for needles, etc. When I came across the fall project. I completed the applique last week, pinning the wool appliques into place. This was before I learned about fusing. Now I remember why I put it away. Now it is in my hive waiting for backing, deciding if I want to hand quilt or machine quilt, and then bind. Good thing the mini quilt is about 12 inches square. Thank you for inviting us to your behive to stitch. Your are so enjoyable to listen and talk to! Yes I answer questions and talk to you! 😆
Thanks for the wonderful stitching time around your table. I cannot wait to have my friends over again and I would love to have you join us. Hugs & Blessings
OMG, Anna, You are Always Enabling Me, I didn’t even finish listening to anything after what came inside the box, I paused and found the kit and hit the Pay Button and now I will have some Happy Mail soon! Love it! It’s definitely nice virtually sitting at Your table with You! Thank You for Sharing!!-Marie btw I Love how You prepped Eastmoreland and I like to fuse My pieces also-it doesn’t hurt the fabric and like You said, all your pieces stay in place so nothing lost! Oh, one ☝️ more thing- “Hi” G, Was Good to see You!
Dear Anna, You always find the cutest projects to work on!! Was fun sitting around your friendship table!! Thank you sweet Anna ♥ you always make everyone smile.
Love to listen to your posts, especially while you are working on a project. Because of the stay at home order, I haven't been able to meet with my buddies or family. Spending time with you helps to fill the void. I can do my crocheting while you are on. Almost as good as being with you in person.
What a beautiful , cute house project! It was so comforting just watching you make your stitches. I have not done anything like that, but I can see it in my future soon! I am so missing my two young adults/grand daughter who live far away! I try to stay busy and positive and watching the floss tubes really helps. It was wonderful seeing G...you both look like a wonderful couple that would be special friends.
I sure miss being with my stitch/quilting friends too! Am glad I have you to stitch with. We are staying home most of the time as well. Pulled out my Eastmoreland today as well.
I treated myself to the same table runner kit. It is so cute and I’m sure I’ll love using it once it’s finished. Pat Sloan Has a quilt along during August. The first week is to finish 6 mugs. I’m using ‘the angler 2‘ and that really speeds up the diagonal stitching… No marking! Have fun and thanks again for inviting us in the beehive to stitch with you❣️
Thank you for inviting me into the Beehive. I enjoyed our time together stitching. I also have a new grand baby coming and spent our time together working on her quilt.
Hey Anna. Love your Eastmoreland quilt. Such fun. Your house growing up sounds like it was a never ending party! In our early married years, we had 3 of my siblings, one of their college friends, and a cousin live with us briefly at various times when they moved to the cities where we lived. My siblings now live in 5 different states and Asia. Those days are long past when they lived with us, but now our grandchildren spend the night occasionally. We have a family germ bubble and they come to our house once a week. So we still have some semblance of normalcy, which is good for us all. Enjoy that new grandbaby!!
I am so happy i took up quilting four years ago. Between gardening and sewing, they have gotten me through this bad time. We too have taken quarantine and precautions very seriously. I am at high risk if I contract Covid. I do miss my quilting friends and our family. Thank you for sharing some space in the hive. Let us hope for a vaccine soon.
Hi Anna. I am grinning at your purchase of the coffee cups table runner because I had to get that kit myself. I am reworking my sewing room and plan to tackle that project soon. Like you, I love the box!!! Sew cute! Lol.
I was happy to share this time with you. I don't see anyone very often so RUclips has become like family. You are a sister and I look forward to seeing you. Keep busy and stay safe.
Anna, this is my favorite video chat of yours. You expressed how I'm feeling perfectly. Like you, I'm fortunate enough to have a beautiful quilt studio over our garage. Having friends over to stitch together brought me the greatest pleasure. We are carefully quarantining also. Some days my happy place feels sad and lonely as I miss my friends terribly. But I'm grateful for the memories and look forward to the day we can safely gather again. By the way, I see why the Lori Holt boxed kit stole our heart! Lori always seems to knock it out of the park! 💕
I listened to a podcast by Dr. Sanjay Gupta recently. He was interviewing another doctor who talked about what I term "acceptable risk". And that is how we have moved forward. We will see our children and grandchildren. We hug. But beyond that we stay home a lot and always wear our masks when out. We miss our friends. But to live without our children and grands...well, that is not a life for us.
Hi Anna....I loved that eastmoreland sooo much I just ordered it...ha I may not have the same house fabrics but it should work with what I have in my stash...only need to get is background fabric...love it !🐑🐑🐑💕
Hi Anna, I am enjoying a slow stitching day myself here in my sewing room at my table too! Finishing up a wool appliqué by Maggie Bonanomi, “Bountiful”. We are not traveling to visit our kids in Montana, due to you know what. Sure miss seeing them and seeing the beautiful country side. I do have one daughter and her family near that we get to see some. Am thankful for this. I have been canning salsa and pickles, but garden starting to slow down. It was only one raised bed but has produced a lot! Have been thinking on starting something new. Aren’t we glad we know how to do handcrafts. Helps keep our mind calmer. Loved stitching with you at your table!
Anna, I just had to tell you how much stitching with you tonight lifted my spirits. I am sitting here alone starting a pieced quilt for my daughter that lives down south not knowing when I will be seeing her and had the thought that if I could send her a quilt that it would be a hug from mom. I had to giggle when G came it, for a moment it truly felt as though we had all been able to gather together for a little stitching time. Thank you so much for allowing us in your home your videos truly help during these uncertain times.
Hi Anna, I think we all need to be with our memories! Love sitting with you in the beehive! Love the box too That’s the good part of it we always have lots to do that we love ❤️ How nice to see your hubby come in to say hi and I love your houses and I enjoy hand work.
Oh Anna.... I feel your pain and sadness in these trying times. I think I'm still under the shock even months after confinement. Thank God for people like you who put out these videos!
Worked on a needleturn Block for the 3030 quilt. Even though it was not the same time as you taped, enjoyed listening as you stitch. Made me feel I was in room. Much better that a commercial venue.
Love your videos - they have helped me through this time at home and you expressed so perfectly how so many of us are feeling during this time - it really helps sort it all out. Thank you for sharing! I think I need that teacup table runner - so cute!
Anna this reminds me of us being able to come and go at the table and enjoying the company of my grandmother (not that you are that old). She was always at the table. It was a comfort and joy to come to your table and spend time.
Thank you for letting me come visit with you at your table. I was cross stitching on a Dimension kit-Christmas Stories. It will be a birthday gift for my youngest granddaughter Rosemary who is turning 2 next month. Hugs Anna!
Hi Anna! It was good to see you today! I love the box with the cups on it. I thought it was funny when you called out the numbers & then shouted out “Bingo”! I have wanted to go & play Bingo, I guess because I can’t go, it makes me want to go more often. Your houses wall hanging is so gorgeous, it makes me want to get some material out & try to make some houses to appliqué! It was great to see your sweet smiling face. Until next time my friend… 🥰
My kids had bounced back prior to all this and I have been so grateful for it. My health has not been so great and having them here has been a godsend for all of us.
I feel like I know you! I sit and stitch on my wool and listen to you and feel like I’m sitting right there with you. You are saving my happiness. I’m in Michigan and we take one step forward and two steps back. You have given me the desire to keep going with stitching!!💕. I just love you. 😊
Don’t you just love the sound of the thread moving through the fabric. Mmmm sooo relaxing. Thanks Anna. Live with my daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter and twin grandsons. Love it. The grands are so loving. It’s great. Love how you show us how to make everything our own. Love the idea of memory house numbers. Hanging out gives a feeling of normal. Thanks friend
...and besides, you still have us to chat with and what is stressful about that, especially since we can't talk back...lol. I have some of Lori Holt's books and so I made my own mug quilt using the five inch precept squares. I used a Christmas pack and used up some of my smaller pieces of white background. I love it. It is going to the 'Spa", as Pat Sloan calls it, to be quilted and will be a gift for my daughter and her family for Christmas.
I've been sitting here sewing on binding and chatting with you! I am also doing the KS house project and am planning on printing off small pictures of family to embellish my doorways with. It's a fun project! Thanks for sharing these moments with us.
Great visiting with you today. Tropical storm shaking my trees around the house. One down in back already. My son says the storm will be gone by 8:00pm. Can not wait to see the back end of this storm. I am downstairs in sewing room and I cut out a dress while listening to you. Thanks for company!
Just right as you showed the box to the table runner I ran out and got it. (well I clicked...you know). Now they are almost all gone! It came today! Yay!
Hi Anna. Feel like I’m sitting at your table stitching! I’m basting down a checkered Dresden table mat made with bright batiks, for our winter desert home. I’m using much different fabrics and designs for out there than my New England country coastal home, which is fun. Your work is beautiful!
Anna: This was such a nice visit today. I have a friend in Tucson and we do projects together, long distance. It's so fun to just have someone to talk to while sewing. We did the Lori Holt, Acorn table runner last fall and it turned out really cute, and of course, the box was adorable. I always feel good after watching you whether on Quilt Roadies or Stitch Roadies. I love talking back to you, my husband has quit asking who I'm talking to; he just shakes his head.
That was nice! I would love to come to the Bee Hive someday. My kitchen theme is bees! By the way,I used your stitch pillow tutorial and made my mother (83) a pillow to support her books when she reads. I plan to make myself a stitch pillow soon. I love your project and wonder if it is still available . Have a great week!
I loved pretend when I was a wee girl, and we can pretend now as adults, to get us through this uncertain time. You have a beautiful space. Continued blessings!
Good afternoon dear friend. You make us feel like we were right there with you. And that we are not alone dealing with this. So enjoyed being invited to the beehive table for some stitching and visiting. Good to see G also. Stay healthy and safe. We love you back. You are a sweet heart. God bless. ❤
OMG! That Lori Holt table runner has been on my wish list at FQS! ☕ That little box is SO cute! I remember when you were in AZ prepping your neighborhood! Happy to see it's back on your WIP list! I have been mostly cross stitching thru our SIP. You make me want to go back up to my sewing room and get back to my quilting! Thank you for the inspiration! 🥰 I miss my sisters and family. I do get to see my granddaughter on occasion, but she used to come and spend the weekend with us. I really miss that! But we move on and look forward to when we're back to "normal" .. whatever that means anymore! Take care! 🥰🤗🙏😷
@@quiltroadies1695 It is ... thank God for texting and Zoom! P. S. On a happier note, I contacted Acorns & Threads to order Heartstring Samplery's What a Time to be Alive! I mentioned I had seen it on your flosstube and Jeanine mentioned you had just been there to shop (yesterday) and you were across the way visiting with friends!! 🥰 So happy for you!!
That is such a beautiful "neighborhood" wall hanging, and I love your tree! I did check, and she still has the pattern and several of the separate items that go with it. Thanks, as always, for stitching and sharing!
HI Friend! Thanks for inviting me to share your table for a while. I miss seeing my girlfriends as well, even just a breakfast together. It's nice to be able to share how hard it is, as we are all missing friends and family. I have not done much appliqué and I so enjoy watching you work. That house quilt you are doing is soooo pretty! See you next time in the beehive!
Ienjoyed the time around your table, just wish we could do it in real life. Oh well that time will come when we can. Thank you for a great time. Stay safe.
Hi Anna, I was hoping to see you stitching on Eastmoreland. I hope to get the pattern/kit soon. I really like it. Can't wait to see it when your done with it. Take Care 🙂 ❤

Thank you for inviting me to the table. I stitched little 6” baskets from a Red Crinoline pattern. I enjoyed our visit so very much 💕
Anna! I really enjoy stitching with you! Thank you for having time for me today. I don't really have anyone to stitch with-especially now.
So nice to spend some time with you again today! Is that a bee quilt on your table? Looks adorable from the little glimpses I’ve seen when you move your project. G looks nice and tanned and healthy. Your tree looks really cute. I am going over to check out her website.

Wonderful! Congratulations!
So I sit and sew with you...thank you for making room for me...👍🏻👵🏻
Enjoy that new grandbaby!!
yes...we are creating our bubble...are you heading south this winter?
I am so happy i took up quilting four years ago. Between gardening and sewing, they have gotten me through this bad time. We too have taken quarantine and precautions very seriously. I am at high risk if I contract Covid. I do miss my quilting friends and our family. Thank you for sharing some space in the hive. Let us hope for a vaccine soon.
many hopes and dreams for the future
Thank you so much! it is so true our family tree is very different now and includes many in the virtual world.
trying to bring the joy back in a world that is so different!
Hi Anna....I loved that eastmoreland sooo much I just ordered it...ha I may not have the same house fabrics but it should work with what I have in my stash...only need to get is background fabric...love it !🐑🐑🐑💕
Oh dear, this was such a pick-me-up. I needed this badly. Thank you, thank you. Let's gather 'round the table again soon.
Loved stitching with you at your table!
we are sooooo grateful for stitching!
Thank you so much for allowing us in your home your videos truly help during these uncertain times.
quilts really are the next best hug to an actual hug!
Hi Anna, I think we all need to be with our memories! Love sitting with you in the beehive! Love the box too
That’s the good part of it we always have lots to do that we love ❤️ How nice to see your hubby come in to say hi and I love your houses and I enjoy hand work.
I truly shouldn't have a moment of complaining...but I do allow myself a tantrum or 2...lol
A mellow early Saturday morning with Anna...sweet!
It was a comfort and joy to come to your table and spend time.
...oh yes I am that old!!!
That Eastmoreland Project is awesome. Can’t wait to see it finished.
Hi Anna, Thank you for letting me sit at your table. I didn’t sew much, but I so enjoyed the chat, You make my day. X
I'm so glad!
I absolutely am in love with the project you’re working on Anna! 😍💜
you could do it...no sewing until all the stitching is done...loved hanging out with you yesterday!!!
Thank you for letting me come visit with you at your table. I was cross stitching on a Dimension kit-Christmas Stories. It will be a birthday gift for my youngest granddaughter Rosemary who is turning 2 next month. Hugs Anna!
Wonderful! so sweet!
Until next time my friend… 🥰
it is so human to want what we can't have...I am not a Bingo player but let me tell you if a parlor opened up here I would be there, LOL
Hi Anna,
Love to watch you working on your projects.
My kids had bounced back prior to all this and I have been so grateful for it. My health has not been so great and having them here has been a godsend for all of us.
oh man...that is what I am talking about...I want my kids to bounce back!
I feel like I know you! I sit and stitch on my wool and listen to you and feel like I’m sitting right there with you. You are saving my happiness. I’m in Michigan and we take one step forward and two steps back. You have given me the desire to keep going with stitching!!💕. I just love you. 😊
oh so true...I am walking that same way 2 forward 1 back
Don’t you just love the sound of the thread moving through the fabric. Thanks friend
what a wonderful life you have!
...and besides, you still have us to chat with and what is stressful about that, especially since we can't talk back...lol.
Oh wow! hope everything was ok
Nice to visit with you. I miss seeing everyone for the open sews at our local quilt shop.
Just right as you showed the box to the table runner I ran out and got it. (well I clicked...you know). Now they are almost all gone! It came today! Yay!
Hi G! So glad to see you again! 👍🏻👵🏻
What a lovely time round ur table with that beautiful cuppa t. Cheers from New Zealand.
I want to do that pattern, I love it. Your neighborhood is great. I’m going to check Susan’s site. Enjoyed sitting around your table😊
Thanks for sharing your table with us.
Thanks for watching!
Hi Anna. Feel like I’m sitting at your table stitching! I’m basting down a checkered Dresden table mat made with bright batiks, for our winter desert home. I’m using much different fabrics and designs for out there than my New England country coastal home, which is fun. Your work is beautiful!
Wonderful! nice to dream about life in the future!
LOL...tell him I know when someone is talking to me and sometimes I talk back too!
It was nice to see G.
God bless. ❤
it really helps me to feel like I have a room of friends...
Take care! 🥰🤗🙏😷
the loss of those weekends must be painful....
Happy holidays! LOL
Thanks for coming...I have such a variety of hand work...what next?!
Anna...YOU are a lovely person! Wish I could sit and sew with you, but this will have to do. Thank you for sharing.
I wish that too...
Hey Friend! It was so lovely sit at your table with you. I was knitting the whole time, and enjoyed the relaxation and the chat. 😊❤️ Gill
I'm so glad! knitting is relaxing I hear :)
That was fun . I will be back.
Ienjoyed the time around your table, just wish we could do it in real life. Oh well that time will come when we can. Thank you for a great time. Stay safe.
Thanks for sharing your feelings we are all in some sort of stuck at home. Love your videos
Love your sharing. I just bought Eastmoreland.. What. Fun. Thank you. Mary
Hope you enjoy it!
Hi Anna, I was hoping to see you stitching on Eastmoreland. I hope to get the pattern/kit soon. I really like it. Can't wait to see it when your done with it. Take Care 🙂 ❤
