Thanks for the tour of your “new” Bee Hive! We’ve all missed you! ❤️ My husband laughs when I watch you on both here and Stitch. I talk to you just like I’m sitting in your room! Lol! I answer you and give my comments! You look great! Moving and coming to Jesus on your stash seems to agree with you! I have to say that I have found a side affect of Covid stay at home. I find myself talking to myself.....even more than I did before!! Lol! I think once we are able to go out and about again we are all going to have to be kind to each other when we see others talking to themselves and answer them so they don’t feel silly!! 😂😂😂
I would love to have those 3 blocks. They are beautiful. You are the first person I have listened to on utube. I started when I was helping my daughter as she moved from Delaware to 3 hours away from us in WV. I had no tv. After babysitting my 2 grandsons ; ages one and 3, it was so exciting to watch your quilting and crossstitch videos. I am a retired RN with a history of detached retinas from prematurity. I was in bed 6 years with complications of eye surgery. I went to Cleveland clinic and my eye doctor not only saved my vision but saved my life. He had to remove silicone oil out of the middle of my eye. I make him a quilt every year for the last 10 years. He treasures them more than I can express . My family receives what I make. I have central vision 20/ 20 in one eye with a lens implant. I have lost much peripheral vision but God gives me the ability to sew simple projects. I love your new bee hive. Would love to meet you in person one day!
Thank you for your wise words! The month you were moving, I put my “big girl pants on” and made the decision to go to England and spend the holidays with my new grand baby! My husband and I spent the most blessed month, in lockdown, in a small 2 bedroom flat and actually spent time... hugs, snuggles, laughing, eating, drinking ... rinse and repeat. Yes, we are all still talking and these will be the most memorable of my 66 years. Happy new home to you and G!
Welcome to a brand new year, new home, new outlook on your life! The Queen Bee is wherever the hive makes it home...so excited for you and "G" and your family! Love your blocks you stitched by your hand!!!!!
I need to make things just for my own enjoyment. Every time I hear someone say they try to cut down their creating time, I just shiver, because I do not care about cutting the process down. It is the process that causes the lightening to strike my brain and excite my heart. It is the act of being creative that I NEED. I give way almost everything to friends, neighbors, strangers, pals and in-laws. God bless my needles and threads.
Oh, a new opening tune and drive through scenery! I’ll miss that street in Sisters ( on my bucket list to actually drive that street one day, if we ever get to fly to America again that is. Lol) and...your primitive block give away....wow... what a honour it would be to have a block worked by you Anna. You are such a generous soul. I bless the day I ever found your channel. So look forward to each and every post. Thanks for always being here for us all.
My very first time meeting you. I have enjoyed sitting here listening to you. You have sparked a new fire inside of me. I have so much fabric that I’m embarrassed. But I love it all. I fell into a depression and all my many goodies have been sitting for a very long time. I am going to put all my soul and heart in getting back into my quilting studio. We do different kind of quilting but we are still quilting sisters. I’m so sorry about the lost of your beautiful friend. As you said each day is a blessing and today I meet you. Your voice just filled me with those old creative juices. I’ll pull out those UFOs and kits, which is unseemly great. I will attempt to finish them all. If I work everyday I will maybe finish in a year. Yes I will be your friend. 💕 Blessings.
Welcome back. Love the new intro. You are so fortunate to have been able to move closer to your grandchildren, to be a part of their lives. I haven’t seen my grandchildren and great grandchildren for almost a year. My heart aches and the tears flow but I am thankful that there are you tubers, like yourself, who make the time to share their lives, to share their skills and knowledge with us. In return I try to let the adds run and hit the thumbs up and comment occasionally.
You have such a lovely new beehive! I can see many wonderful, productive days ahead of you. Your sentiments about life, projects, and more are so true! Would love to win your 3 primitive blocks.
So many words of wisdom in this posting. My lesson learned this year is kindness, kindness, and kindness matters greatly. I've given over 15 quilts this year...some from my stash...to friends and people I know but are not all close friends. I could not imagine how blessed these people would feel! I felt embarrassed at how appreciative they were and it was nothing on my part. I love making quilts and some of the quilts I had for 5 or 6 years. One of my close friends I gave her 2 quilts on her birthday in August. She passed away the Wed. before Christmas of covid. She felt light headed for a couple days, fell and hurt her back, went to the hospital, diagnosed with covid, sent home with oxygen, 2 days later back to the hospital, and passed away 3 days later. This was all less than 2 weeks time. I'm in shock and her family is devastated. Her husband is now recovering from this disease. I'm glad I was able to please her with my gift in August. Don't enter me in your giveaway. The blocks are very beautiful but I have so much already I need to keep giving my quilts to others. Oh...did I miss seeing your antique stove? Your new 'bee hive' is fantastic. Love reading and listening to your blog. Patty McDonald
Anna, I’m so blessed to call you my friend. You’re such a kind and caring person. You spoke some wise words in this video. I’d love anything made by you! Those blocks would give me a jump start on learning to sew pieces together & they’re beautiful! 💜
Don't bet yourself up , we all have those projects we've forgotten about . You can always donate your quilts to the hospital, or cancer patients. Especially to kids who have cancer . just a thought . I love the new music for your channel . Stay positive, healthy ,and safe .
You are an amazing person. We are all doing these wonderful hobbies that can benefit so many people. What I do is I give quilts as gifts to people I know . I Al's keep a quilt, a jacket, socks, gloves and a little bit of money in a bag for when we encounter a homeless person. I'm with you we don't need them, but the enjoyment of creation will live in us for. Happy new year. Blessings. Tfs
Boy have we missed you! I laughed out loud when you said that you were a crow because that’s what my hubby calls me! I kept nodding and saying that’s me! Hoarder, start one project etc. Each year I say I won’t buy anything but it’s sooo yummy! I would be honored to receive your primitive blocks but more honored to be your “friend”. It’s what the world needs especially now. God bless in your move and new area...to be by my granddaughter would be heaven!!! 😘
I am so happy for you to be closer to your family. Anna, I do enjoy your company so much. You are like a hug during this time of separation from all of my loved ones. I watch both of your channels as I cross stitch also. Your new Bee Hive is lovely and those shelves!!! I would love to receive those 3 blocks you are offering. They would hold a place of honor in my home. Thank you for sharing your life with us.
I love your new introduction to Quilt Roadies and I also love your new bee hive. I’m so glad you are back! I am interested in the 3 primitive blocks and would love to receive them! Best of luck to you and G with the unpacking. Some day I am coming to Oregon. It looks so inviting!
I can completely identify with your sense of loving the process but understanding that I don’t need any more myself. I’ve decided that any new projects will be donated to project Linus or a woman’s shelter. Each year I choose one or two words to inspire me for the year. This year my two words are Generosity and Thankfulness. Thank you for sharing your journey and inspiration. Happy New Year
What a positive move, being able to clean out the things not needed and discovering the projects that have been crying out to be finished. You have rescued, and now you can finish them and they to can find a home were they can be enjoyed. What a Blessing, All the best to you and your family for a safe and loved future! Your new sewing room looks great, I think the large book shelf give a nice display of your treasures. See you soon, from Kiwi quilter. We have been blessed to have the freedom to travel our country NZ, with our covid-19, we did wear a mask on the plane, but that is it. Happy New Year! Xx!🎉🎉🥰
I too love the process of quilting, but I also don't need anymore quilts. So I have taken to donating them. In December I donated a quilt to my home town civic players theater as part of a fund raiser. I have donated quilts to silent auctions for police officers and others undergoing treatment for cancer. Have missed your during the preceding weeks. I am trying to get back in the swing of sewing. Take care, stay safe. Love your primitive blocks.
I retired January 2020. Covid plus retirement has been very similar to your move. I have organized, gifted, 'teared' and experienced much joy discovering myself, my creativity, and quilting once again. I, too, have so much and too much. Looking at my past, 2020, has been a learning process. It is not complete. I am evolving. As a former life-time military wife, I relate to your move. You do professional work and have great taste. My husband and I have lost seven former colleagues this Covid year. Family, home, creativity, peace, and love for 2021. Hopefully less UFOs.
Hi I am so happy to hear from you and I am really looking forward to seeing you doing more videos. The scenery in your new area is beautiful and it makes me happy to know that we will be inspired again with your wonderful talent in quilting and stitching!! I love those squares that you showed us. They are so lovely and it reminds me of the floral work that my grandma made when she lived with us !! You are a true friend in my book and stay safe and wish you and G a wonderful New Year!!
Anna- I enjoy your channel very much. Although I was shocked you could ever leave your gorgeous Sisters beehive I just LOVE your Portland beehive. You and G now have the best of both worlds. A lovely home with space for your hobbies and the time to enjoy your grandkids on a whim without traveling for hours. ♥️ life is good! Congratulations and happy 2021✌🏼
Thank you so much, I enjoyed these three quarters of an hour listening to you and watching your goodies of needles and threads. Wish you all the best in your new home! Give my Hello to your man behind the scene, I love his music 🎶
Moving really is a great way to see just how much we own. It can be startling. I love making quilts and already have too many. Thankfully I belong to a charity quilting group. I happily create quilts for others who I will never meet. Stash and quilts March out the door. And I have learned to say no when people want to give me things I do not want. I do not want your scraps or abandoned projects. Our group often is the recipient of a sewers possessions when they pass away or go into some type of assisted living. Families are overwhelmed with all the stuff. It is a wake up call to make sure we do not leave behind this burden. Have a plan in place.
I'm so happy that your back. Your not alone with all the quilt kits and wool kits. Last February We turned our garage into my quilt room. I was shocked to see how many kits that I had not to mention yardage and fat quarter. I've completed 20 quilts in 2020. I have a Simply sixteen that I quilt them on. I was afraid to quilt them at first because I thought that I would mess them up. Then I decided that I'll do the best I can. No awards will be won but the quilts are finished and people are loving them. I have about 30 more projects to piece and get done. You are my wool applique inspiration, SF101 has made all the difference. 2021 will be the year that we get it done. Congratulations on your new home. Happy New Year, Veronica
My husband and I did the same move 5 years ago have not looked back. It was the very best thing for us and our family. In downsizing my sewing room I was also shocked at my forgotten projects. I do enjoy my simplistic home not being bogged down by “stuff” I now live very close to Pioneer Quilts and my son and his family live in Happy Valley. We will be driving the same streets and if I see I will say hello.
How wonderful to have you back .we have missed you being in the bee hive, sharing all your talent and love of stitching. If I should be so lucky to win your giveaway I would treasure the primitive blocks ,knowing they were made by you, so special. Thank you for being there for us while we are in lockdown here in the UK we all need love and prayers 🙏 at this difficult time so i send mine to you . Maureen Newcastle UK
Yes losing someone close to you really does put life in perspective . We lost two dear friends , a husband and wife died within 13 hours of each other. Breaks my heart .
So glad I found your two podcasts. I lost my husband last May due to COVID and am finally starting to get back to reality. I have been going through bins of wool fabric that I haven’t seen in years. I used to do traditional rug hooking. I am finding that I love the needle and thread in my hand with the wool. I would love to welcome those 3 primitive wool blocks in my home . It is very kind of you to offer them. Good luck with your unpacking and keep that beautiful smile on your face. Thank you.
Good Saturday Morning Ann. Wow what a beautiful bee hive, I just love it and so happy for you. And happy for you and your husband move to be closer to grand children, I do agree with you all on that. Well we did the same a few years ago and just love it. Now we have two beautiful great grandkids . Enjoy Ann and take care.❤️🧵✂️😃
I have sooo missed you, too. Great having you back! No guilt necessary. You are a prolific, creative, loving person. And that is terrific. So glad you are getting all settled in. It is a beautiful room. Enjoy. Looking forward to seeing what you complete. Yes, at 70, I’ve had the same thoughts. My daughter keeps urging me to work on my Cathedral Window Quilt. I know what she is thinking. Lol
Hats Off to you and your husband for biting the bullet and moving. The Bee Hive looks beautiful as your neighbor is darling. The mountain top in view along with walking trails will be a joy! Bless you Both and Bee Well!
Can not point a finger at you without turning that finger back at myself. I love the process myself. I started many years ago making gifts for family and friends since money was tight and now they wait to see what I have made for them . What an honor to have a project that you have made to finish and cherish. My sewing room is small so the majority of my fabric has to be put in tubs in my attic. So I forget what I have all the time and then buy more.
We moved about 6 years ago. My sewing room on the farm had a completely different character than my one in town. Some of the quilts that looked nice throughout the farmhouse don’t fit in as well in our new house. I love the process of creating and need to be doing all the time. I make lots of quilts to give away but do enjoy making small ones for a collection of my own. I keep the hand stitching of quilt binding to do when I get together with friends. That pile is growing these past months with visiting with friends being limited. Thanks for sharing your beehive with us!
I have made lots of stuff for other people , family and friends, but I’ve never received anything handmade myself. I think people think that I can make anything I want. It’s lovely to receive things people have loved making. I love to give xxxx
Your primitive blocks are beautiful. What an honor it would be to possess those. You are a generous lady to offer to share those with your subscribers.
Anna, thank you so much for you kind and encouraging words. Your wisdom has warmed my heart. Love your new opening video and music. So happy for you and G on your new adventure and glad you are settling in. The blocks you shared are very pretty. I would love to win them - just because they are stitched by your hands. You are such an inspiration and a joy. I love my "Anna time".
Thank you Anna. You are so generous to offer something you have made. I love your new Bee Hive. You are such a fast worker. When I moved to PA., it took me months to find just the right place for everything. I'm so glad you are back sharing all your stitching and quilting with us. I would love to have something made by you.
congratulations dear friend, you made it into your new Beehive. It looks wonderful and it will keep your heart and soul together. Look after yourself and enjoy your family. Lots of love and best wishes to you and Gee from Tasmania 👏👏👏✅
Look at all the light that pours in......wow that will be incredible..... Those beautiful little hexie jewels....someday even if I only make 1 block---I will do a hexie......A design wall......all those built ins........oh what fun it will be in a brand new beehive for you !!!!!!HAPPY NEW YEAR
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your dear friend. May your memories comfort you. Your new bee hive is lovely! I would treasure the blocks stitched by you if I am chosen to receive them. Thank you for your quilt and stitch videos. I so enjoy them. Wishing you and your family a wonderful new year.
My husband. and I sold and packed our house two years ago. We moved to a one bedroom apartment for a year. COVID led to my retirement and let us pack and leave our apartment. We moved from California to Spokane to be near my kids. I have a lot of the same feelings you have about moving. I’ve enjoyed getting back to sewing again though. Thank you for sharing your experiences. I’d love to have your blocks. I’m just getting into quilting.
Hmmmm Guess I'm a stick in the mud but I miss the old Bee hive and the stove & the lamp that sat off to your left. When you realize you have more "stuff" than anyone person needs. I didnt buy alot in 2020 rather I quit. I bought stuff to finish projects, like felting supplies to finsh the lion for a quilt I was working on for my dad when he died in December 2011, I completed it and gave it to my son for Christmas. Out of all the quilts I have made over my life time I only have one for myself a lap quilt that I keep at the foot of my bed so my feet dont get cold. So by all means sew & give them away for it is in the giving that you are truly blessed !
Anna, loved seeing your new Beehive. Your comments about finding things rings true for me too. It is humbling to look through our lives and see what we have accumulated. The view of the mountain looks so inviting. I know you and G will enjoy hiking there this Spring. I look forward to your new adventures and I know you are glad to be so close to the grandchildren. Robin C.
Oh Anna what a beautiful soul you are. Your love has touched my heart all the way over the pond. I would dearly love to own one of your beautiful blocks. A constant reminder of the joy you share to all of us. Bless your heart 💓 wishing you and your family a happy and healthy new year xx 💋❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Anna - Welcome to your new home. It's a lovely space with great lighting. You're unfinished projects are a sign of the variety in your life. We all start things with the Great Intentions! But life allows you to change your mind...isn't that fun! Let the process be the fun part and allow yourself to take all the pleasure in giving to others to share the love. I would be honored to have some of your work to admire and love.
Oh my Anna!! I sooo missed YOU! A great ‘catch up’ video, full of wisdom and love .. a sharing of Life’s Journey with no apology of one’s need to create. Love you back!! Now that you have arranged your new Bee Hive .. let us sew!! Much love to you and G. Bless you both! 🌹💗
There is nothing like moving to open your eyes for forgotten projects, projects who have been placed in time out and need to leave the vicinity, and those you thought you had finished! Some of your “found” projects will be nice gifts for others. Love your wool work. They would be great pillow or table runners. So sorry for the passing of your friend. What a heads up! Thinking you as you continue to unpack, take a break and relax stitching. Keep up the RUclips’s!
I love the woolen blocks! They make me think of wonderful springtime! My sister-in-law and I exchange handmade gifts every year. She is a weaver and I am a quilter so our gifts to each other are always exciting and fun. This year we surprised each other - she crocheted a rug for me and I cross stitched an ornament for her. I think I need to learn to stitch wool so I can really surprise her in 2021! Thank you for your videos; I enjoy them and you so very much.
Anna,so happy you and G are settling in your new adventure. You inspire us all. Always look forward to both of your podcasts. I retired five years ago from nursing and finally catching up on my hobbies thank you for taking the time to share your talents. Blessings for 2021.
Dear friend, how I have missed you.. You don't know me ,although I have commented for previous give aways. I am a 72 yr old nurse ,still working 3 days a week at a big box ALF in Florida. I so admire you and Gee for having the courage to under take the taunting chore of relocating . I am at a point now that I am ready to down size to something smaller with less maintenance and less expense. No need for a 3 bedroom pool home for 1 person . No family to enjoy it with. So I want to relocate out of state , but am so overwhelmed with the under taking that I can't get started. I have begun sorting and giving away or throwing out items. And my sewing room...OMG. I have so much fabric ,kits , projects and stash fabric. Where to begin !!! I am a quilter, sewer, I have a very creative mind. This is my passion. Well, sorry for running on like this, just wanted to touch bases with you and say that you are an inspiration to me. You are fortunate to have Gee to share the experience with. I will be tackling this by myself.. Enjoy your new home and adventure. I will be watching for future posts. Stay safe and well.
Oh Anna....so glad you have landed. We need our Queen bee. You reassure us in these uncertain times. For me personally listening to you talking about change and embracing it gives me hope that I could do it too. Thank you for sharing with us. Your kindness and generosity is much appreciated. Stay safe. Stay well. And look after those hands! X
Such a nice visit! Your new bee hive is great. I love, love, love the built in bookshelves and the view. I decided 2 years ago to work on my projects and my fabric stash, and rarely have had to buy new fabric. I would love to be included in your giveaway. I never understand why people don’t subscribe and hit the notification bell. I’m always so glad when I see you have posted. Today you kept me company while I dusted pictures and knick knacks. My least favorite job. Ugg. So, thanks for the company! 🤗🤗💕😷
Dearest Anna, we're not judging you, many of us have the same affliction. You made me think about the projects I have stuffed into cupboards all over the house. You should see how I was trying to hide my stash when the kids + grandkids came on visits over the holidays. I finally got to gift a quilt to eldest grandson and the little grandson loved my cross stitch Christmas pillows. The smiles on their faces was was all the reward I needed to keep sewing. My needle and thread has kept me sane this past while, has this helped us to be more reflective. Before I forget your new home looks beautiful and I would love to receive your beautiful blocks. I don't know how you managed that move in such a short time. Looking forward to your friendly visits.
Thank for this lovely tour of your new Beehive Anna💖 So gorgeous! Also, I appreciate your thoughtful and heartfelt words as we move into this new year. You've inspired me to get into my projects and get some done to give to family and friends. I'm so sorry about the loss of your friend. A gentle hug sent to you 🤗
You are such a beautiful soul, so happy to have you back again ❤️. So nice to see your new Bee Hive and your “forgottens” , you are a brave lady sharing them. I would be thrilled to receive a block “stitched by your very own hand”. Thank you Anna, enjoy your new home.
Hello dear friend. So glad to see you again in your new bee hive. I would enjoy those primitive blocks stitched by you, sewn into a tablerunner by me. I enjoy your visits so much. My new year isn't starting off well, having another surgery on the 4th of January. So i will really need your smiling face and kind spirit to get me through. God bless you and G.
I sure can relate to you. My husband and I moved from Florida to North Carolina two years ago, so that we could be near our grandchildren. I’ve decided that I would need to live three lives to complete all of my projects! I am still finding things that I had long ago forgotten about. On a positive note...I was not bored during this pandemic! Best of luck. I think you’re making great progress.
Wishing yourself and G all the love and blessings for your life in your forever home. We all owe you so much for sharing your lives with us. God bless you both
Welcome to your new home and new beehive. During Covid and working from home I created a makers space for myself and enjoy it so much. I started wool applique handwork this year because of the Quilt Roadies channel. Thank you.
С Новым годом и с Новосельем вас, Анна! Ваша новая мастерская еще лучше прежней! Творческих вам успехов на вашем новом месте! И здоровья и счастья вам и вашей семье!
Thank you Anna for everything you do for the quilting community on you tube. You make each of feel as if we are there with you. Love your new bee hive and having all of that displayed is so nice. My sewing room is very small but packed. I have only been doing wool applique for a short time (I blame you for getting me hooked on it, lol) so I would love to have blocks made by the famous Anna. Thank you and stay safe.
Hi Anna, I'm so glad you're back and in your new home. I proud to be a subscriber of your wonderful channel and I'm so inspired by your acts of kindness and thoughtful words. About that shopping on line, oh my, did I run up a bill. Love all your stitching and I pale at the thought of packing up after living on our five acre tract for forty-one years now! I really have a lot of stuff too! Blessings to you and Gee and here's hoping 2021 is Spectacular for you both!
Love your new bee hive, the view you have is so pretty. So glad you are closer to your grandchildren and can see them more. Time to make some special memories with them for sure. Enjoy your new space and get that creative juice flowing.
I can relate to so much of what you said today. Six months ago we had to evacuate our home. Everything had to be packed and moved out within one week so that our entire one story house could be gutted and rebuilt. My husband and I are in our mid 70's and could never have done it without the help of our grown children. We finally moved our belongings back in 2 months ago and the house is still not in order. We have had Injuries from lifting or tripping over things, and a sense of being overwhelmed on a daily basis. My stitching supplies had filled 1 and half rooms of our house. I'm ashamed of all the things I have. I discovered your RUclips chats while staying in a hotel suite this summer and fall. Thanks you. Just the calm tone of your voice was a comfort as well relating to so much of what you said. I missed you this last couple of weeks. I'm so glad you are back. I too have made resolutions to not buy more than what I need to support finishing already started projects. Please keep us informed of your progress.
What beautiful blocks! There is soooo much that can be done with them that it makes my head swim with ideas! If I happen to win, know that your pieces will hold a place of honor in my home and my life. 👍🏻💕👵🏻
Hello ANNA!!!!! Soooo happy to hear from you!! The new beehive is already filled with your love!! I can feel it right through the camera!!! You CAN do it....yep...I know you can finish all those beautiful projects!! To craft from your heart and share with another is the ultimate joy!!! That being said... your gonna have a 2021 overflowing with happiness and love!! And yes....you are so right...no one knows what the next day will bring. My son was diagnosed with covid this week and now I'm not feeling well. I pray my two other children and my husband doesn't contract it. I am a pediatrician and hope my immune system can withstand it. I would love those beautiful woolie blocks!!!! Please stay safe and healthy..... will think of you stitching joy in your new hive!!!!
I just “met” you for the first time today. I love you. We are twins. Just built a house and finally unpacking my sewing room. Come to Jesus, oh yeah! Your hive is lovely. Good 2021 rules and goals. I’m with you on those. I’m going to not continue to overburden myself with too many unfinished starts and do more finishing and maybe some donating if it doesn’t “sing” to me.
Your Primitive Blocks are all gorgeous! How generous you are! It's good to hear from you again and see you settled in your lovely new home and yard. Thanks for sharing as always.
Oh, talented beautiful lady, I have missed you! Please take your time unpacking, take care of yourself, and give yourself grace and forgiveness. The bee hive is looking industrious-ready for a “workout!” I would make a table runner from those gorgeous squares. Count me in!
Welcome to the West side of Oregon! We are in Gresham. When we moved 2 1/2 yrs ago I was amazed how much I had, then, we decided to replace carpet in August THEN I had my own "come to Jesus" moment. So many projects. My husband I kept bringing in storage boxes. I'm still not fully unpacked 😳. I like your videos.
I am so thankful for you Anna!!! You bring such a blessing to my life. I am so thankful you are settling into your new bee hive. It is time for me to reorganize my sewing space!! You are motivating me. Have a wonderful week!!😊
Lol🥳, not a walk of shame but Road to New opportunities 🎉❤️. After “bla bla bla many years” your move prompted me to create my first ever sewing room. I can feel your thoughts and surprise at the choices and abundance of things we collected out of the crow mentality, I so have it. Happy New Year, so great to see you in your new digs.
Oh Anna. I could relate to everything you talked about today. Since Covid and for 2021, I have been working on all of the projects I already own. I, like you, have too much stuff and I am very aware that life is moving fast. The good thing about pulling out things I haven't seen in a very long time is that it feels like they are new again. I wish you peace, health, and happiness in your new home. You spire me all the time.
Glad you are almost finished unpacking. Your quilty "perp" walk was great fun. We have to laugh at our self. I could do. A quilty " perp" show as well. Enjoy your grandkids as they grow up so fast! Mary
Three years ago I made a huge move, first in 30+ years, to be near family, especially my grandchildren. I also packed up the contents of my family home, and I’m still unpacking... but hearing about all you accomplished in just 2 months, I am motivated to get through the boxes and finally get settled here. Thank you, and Happy New Home! ❤️
Enjoyed the tour of "The New Beehive", your bookshelves, the size of your room, and the view! It looks like you have a wonderful place to create beautiful things and finish WIPs! I think you have done a marvelous job! Happy New Year to you and your family. I enjoy watching your RUclips videos, it is like having a friend visiting in my sewing room! Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts, your laughs, and your talents and progresses - you inspire me,
I think you were so courageous to give up the old "bee hive" not knowing that this would be the new. It's as wonderful as the original bee hive! Here's to the new bee hive, the new year, and a new beginning. I would love the challenge of creating something new from your left over blocks.
I love your new Beehive , thanks for taking us with you so soon, you’ve worked so hard to get this far. You look great too since you have worked so hard with moving and unpacking you are so relaxed in the video , good for you and G to take a nap every now and then to keep it going. I love the primitive blocks it would be so special to finish something made by Anna ☺️ So glad you are back and so soon I did not expect it that soon but it made me happy . Happy New year for you and G dear Anna !!
I moved from Colorado to Texas three years ago and last June we finally purchased a home, I know the feeling and the tired hands(I'm 68)! I use Lasting Touch Advanced Formula, a wonderful lotion for healing tired sore muscles. Those wool squares would match my bedroom decors! I would make pillows with them!
Hi Anna, I'am catching up on your videos. I too moved Christmas day. I lost my husband 6 months ago and my only son 4 months ago. It has left me having to make new decisions and I chose to move into my own home away from my Northern California family to an area in Palm Desert where it is more affordable for me. It is a new beginning for all of us at our age. So happy for you and G and being near the grand kids. I love you videos and always look forward to the Bee Hive...
I’ve missed you. Bet I’m not the only one. 😍
We shall meet when you arrive❤️
I so enjoy your videos. I am really inspired by your ideas for the new year. Hope to complete many of my starts as well! Thank you.
Life is fleeting and a gift...hugs❤️
Anna, I’m so blessed to call you my friend. You’re such a kind and caring person. You spoke some wise words in this video. I’d love anything made by you! Those blocks would give me a jump start on learning to sew pieces together & they’re beautiful! 💜
I can’t wait till we can get together again🙏
Don't bet yourself up , we all have those projects we've forgotten about . You can always donate your quilts to the hospital, or cancer patients. Especially to kids who have cancer . just a thought . I love the new music for your channel . Stay positive, healthy ,and safe .
Ohh so good to have you back. Projects look doable.. hang in there, you have a good plan..
Blessings. Tfs
Welcome Home!! We missed you!!
I have missed you too! Your new space is lovely.
Happy New Year
Those are the sweetest blocks. So happy you’re back. You have been missed. Congratulations on your new beehive 💕💕💕
Happy New Year 🎆🎊 🥂
What a positive move, being able to clean out the things not needed and discovering the projects that have been crying out to be finished. Xx!🎉🎉🥰
I love the new Bee Hive!
Been missing you Anna, I lost a friend yesterday too. We’ve got to think positive about 2021, stay safe and let’s quilt!,
I retired January 2020.
Missed you too, Anna. Glad your move went well. Love the blocks you're giving away.
It’s a lovely room, Anna. What a great start to the new year. I would be interested in hanging your primitive blocks in my new sewing room. Stay safe.
I’m so sorry for the loss of your friend.❣️
Thank you so much, I enjoyed these three quarters of an hour listening to you and watching your goodies of needles and threads. Wish you all the best in your new home! Give my Hello to your man behind the scene, I love his music 🎶
I would hate to bear my sewing room “forgotten”. So glad it’s you and not me! Lol
I’ve missed your inspiration too! Welcome home, Anna!
Happy New Year,
Veronica
Oh my Anna, where is the stove?? Wishing you and G a Healthy Happy New Year!!
Have been wondering the same.
@@suegraham4323 Me too!
I want to know too.
Mee too!
In the garage😂
My husband and I did the same move 5 years ago have not looked back. It was the very best thing for us and our family. In downsizing my sewing room I was also shocked at my forgotten projects. I do enjoy my simplistic home not being bogged down by “stuff” I now live very close to Pioneer Quilts and my son and his family live in Happy Valley. We will be driving the same streets and if I see I will say hello.
I can’t judge because when I point a finger at you there are 3 pointing back at me. I too need to shop my own sewing room.
My mom used to say that😂
How wonderful to have you back .we have missed you being in the bee hive, sharing all your talent and love of stitching.
😢💔❤️hugs
❤️
So glad I found your two podcasts. I lost my husband last May due to COVID and am finally starting to get back to reality. I have been going through bins of wool fabric that I haven’t seen in years. I used to do traditional rug hooking. I am finding that I love the needle and thread in my hand with the wool. I would love to welcome those 3 primitive wool blocks in my home . It is very kind of you to offer them. Good luck with your unpacking and keep that beautiful smile on your face. Thank you.
How overwhelming it would be to pull out all my unfinished projects.
What a beautiful new “Beehive”! Such hard work to set up and organize and what a view! Thanks for sharing your world, projects and lovely spirit.
I love your blocks and would cherish them forever thank you Anna for all you do
We moved about 6 years ago.
I love what you’ve done with your new Beehive! You’ve inspired me once again to organize and finish projects! Thank you as always!❤️😘❤️
Oh girlfriend...I get it
What beautiful blocks!
Thanks for the tour of the “New Bee Hive” Anna....it’s gorgeous...and open wall shelves, seriously jealous right now...💝🥰😘🇦🇺
Your Primitive Blocks are all gorgeous!
Mary
Thank you for being MY friend...you’ve gotten me through some tough times this past year...may God continue to bless you and G...💕👵🏻
I love the primitive blocks it would be so special to finish something made by Anna ☺️
So glad you are back and so soon I did not expect it that soon but it made me happy .
