My father in law had a freightliner like that except it had a little Cat motor............it was bad ace! Sadly he only had it a year and sold it with his wildfire radio and clerical support trailers.
Yah you can’t install jake brakes on the b series and c series Cummins because they don’t have cam shaft injectors sadly but isl 8.9 and up all can be equipped with jakes! Btw nice rig I love all the pre emisioned Cummins engines their the most reliable and sound the best I wanna do a 6ct 8.3 swap in a dodge 5500 in the future backed up by a 18 speed Eaton haha😂 also if your truck is uncomfortable why don’t u just put air ride seats in it lol i bet it will have the same ride quality as the 330
Ace International that would be a sick setup!! Oh my f350 is plenty comfortable lol I’m saying if I did over the road hotshot full time the 330 would be the best way to go for longevity and comfort! I’ll be doing air ride suspension on the dually here real soon and it’ll be extremely comfy lol
I have a 97 3/4 ram with 12V and auto trans believe it’s a47 anyways. Is there anyway to lock converter up on it in 1st and stay lock? would it hurt anything? As always great vids 👍
TheFumminsPage so the reason you can do lock up from 10MPH on up . Is because the ford trans just strong enough to hold it? Do you know what could be don’t to the 47 trans to make it any better? Seems like the only time the engine runs good is in 4th locked up.
I’ve been looking at these trucks for a few weeks. Interested in hotshot, so far seems to be better investment for the price. However I haven’t been able to find any info on the gvwr anywhere.
The perception would be," no manners on that truck and trailer running brights". Cb is usually good for that. You get bugged by every truck you come upon. Helpfull truck drivers saying, "you got a headlight out there mini pete." You hear that all night long. Lol. Itll make you change it faster.
Hardhead 705 fortunately the brights weren’t bright enough to cause an issue, they have since been replaced with LED lights and now low and high work. Sometimes you gotta work with what you got.
Nice ride. Love that trailer. I pull a 36ft withe a one ton. It's alright but yours would be better lol.
Enjoyed the video, much oblige!!!
Your cattle hauling videos are my favorite. Definitely want to see this setup a lot more. Love your videos, keep it going brother
Very nice, that sounds sweet, 10,500 lbs is really light. After my Detroit conversion my F350 is 9200.:)
DetroitGarage I was very surprised with the weight as well lol
Love the new truck..all the power and no fiddling.like pope logo on the trailor

Someone likes that horn 😆
Where did you get your conversion kit? Adapter motor mounts etc?
Engine mounts and adapter plate from diesel conversion specialist. Everything else I did myself

Stephen Johnston just a lock up switch but it’s hard on a stock trans!
TheFumminsPage rpope so it probably wouldn’t recommend it?
Stephen Johnston I wouldn’t on a stoc I trans

Renaldo Scott the gvw is 26k on this truck. Rear axle is rated at 20k. You can put 45k behind it all day

Put down the camera and read the owner's manual. Find out what that big blue light on the dash means..
Turn off your dam bright lights!
Hardhead 705 I had one dim light out, it was only option. Didn’t seem to bother anyone.
