The Iowa 80 is the heart of America! A place that helps cater to the everyday pioneers, delivering all kinds of goods to us, and the basic things we need to have, in order to survive! Without truckdrivers, we couldin't pick up grocery's at the supermarket and wal-mart would be empty!
ya know watching these truck videos is just fueling my desire to return to driving. Its a hard life being a trucker. I know ive been doing this for 3 years. Now im college studying business and I want to persue being my own authority: owner Operator. Ill stick to company driver for now. Being a an otr driver is tought, but u can make the best of it. I still want to make some new memories on the road: Iowa 80 is one of them. great video
I visited the Iowa 80 a couple years ago during the Trucker's Jamboree event they hold. That was one of the most incredible places I've been to. Also, I sat inside that yellow Peterbilt. Nice video!
Truckshow room is one floor, gift store and restraunt is another floor, convience store and fastfood places on another floor, got barber dentist laundry, showers, truckers lounge movie theater on the upper floor
Wow, this truck stop has EVERYTHING! What would make this place better would be a revolving door and maybe escalators. I suppose some of the facilities are closed or have limited capacity
Great video. I saw a old picture of Iowa 80 and it was small compared to what it is today. Another good truck stop would be the pilot in Grand Island,Ne With accesories and plenty of parking. I would love to see other truck stops follow Iowa 80's example. some truck stops I will not go to because they are @@@@holes. I would not mind spending my home time or vacation time there. Again, good work on your video. I pray I will be back driving again so that I can go to Iowa 80.
Bosselman Grand Island, Little America in Little America & Iowa 80...absolute must stops. Don't forget that special list of those mom & pops that keep a fresh warm pot of coffee & clean shower & towel just for drivers!
This is one big truck stop, certainly puts some of the ones in the UK I've been to, to shame. Was at this truck stop a few weeks ago, while on a trip to America, visiting my girlfriend who lives between Walcott and Maysville
This guy sounds like he's doing a video for a kids T.V. Show. (bad Mr. Rogers impersonation) "Can you say Chrome?.... I knew you could" LOL! just because of how he's explaining simple things like pushing elevator buttons.
i one thought your scooter was your truck but i really like the way this truckstop is and on my trip up tate like the trip to rockchester or buffalo and i saw some truckstops on the way
If this building wasn't built on the side of a hill, this place would be 2 stories instead of 3, but if you love trucking, this is probably the best place ever
Walcott, Iowa, Thehotel that is way in the back of the truckstop where all the semi's fuel up, I think we own that but I am not for sure. I would have to talk to the owner or one of the headquaters people about that. I work out there and been out there for a few years now.
we have a chiro here at the truckstop. it would be hard to find a doc to work the same hours as the dentist and thats why we dont have a doc here at the truckstop.
when i went to the whole foods market in union square in new york city they had the same kind of kone elevator aand it was my first time ever on a kone ecodisc elevator. did i spell ecodisc right?
If I had a green truck I would use all those lights during christmas time and turn it into a christmas tree..AND PARK IT RIGHT OUT FRONT!!! I'd be famous...

I was there twice yesterday, driving a load between Morris, IL and Omaha, NE. Such an awesome place!

level 3 has driver's T.V. rooms, quiet room, Laundry, Massage parlor, & I believe a clinic if I remember right.
I could spend all day here and using all of the amenities.
