There is no point in comparing these two machines. Each has it's own character and purpose. In strict terms CB350 is roadster and the Meteor 350 is a classic cruiser. Even the character of engines and drive trains are different to suit different riding styles ( CB 350 loves to revved hard and the Meteor is more for sedate cruising ). Why compare apples and oranges when each has it's own flavor???

Re is a tough to maintain bike with service intervals every 2000 km. Also it's heavy and gives a lot of vibrations at 90+ speed. Re parts are not upto the mark and I personally don't prefer chrome which eventually rusts. On the other hand, honda cb350 has a service interval of 6000 km and it doesn't produce vibrations at high speeds. Also they have done a good job tuning it for a cruising speed of 70-90 kmph, delivering 42-44 kmpl mileage at such speeds. Its tall 5th gear works at relatively low rpm at 90 kmph which makes it fuel efficient. It's the best cruiser ever made in india. I mean the petrol prices have gone above 100. Also if you compare it with avenger 220, the avenger delivers a mileage of 35 kmpl at 90 kmph. Now that's where honda CB 350 shines. It's not a performance bike but an efficient cruiser that could happily do 90-100 kmph all day long. P.S. even 100 cc bikes would give a mileage 30-35 kmpl at high speeds bcoz they work at high rpm and thus get easily stressed out.

In every comparison videos between meteor and H'ness, the maximum number of comments would comprised of praises for Honda. But when you looked at the monthly sales, H'ness is pretty far behind the Meteor. A case of insecurity perhaps?
Not insecurity, 90% haven't ridden CB350 once you ride there's zero comparison to any RE. Secondly genuine reason is Honda is selling and servicing only in BigWing Honda centers, they have only 50 of these across India. If they had a chain like other popular bikes you would see Honda 350 everywhere instead of REs. RE is ONLY enjoying this edge so far.
Honda is only available in big wing because they don't want their bike to become like bullet and fall into anyone's hand. They don't want to be called Chhapri bike😂😂

Well I do lot of touring on motorcycle especially in Himalayas and I think For touring ride RE should be the choice cos of service network. CB 350 has no service network in remote areas like RE have. If honda offers service at all places then it will be tough competition.
@@knitinpatel While touring, especially adventure one, mostly bikes break down due to negligence and lack of experience on those terrains, not just coz of low reliability factor. So there, you need good service network. Unless Honda has a good service network, it will be really tough for them to beat RE just by producing a better bike, unless degree of quality is much much higher.
@@knitinpatel it's interesting how you think that RE will remain standing while Honda leapfrogs them. Currently, RE has 1000+ stores. In two years they'll add at least 200 more. Also, in two years you'll see the next gen of all the current motorcycles out ( Classic, Himalayan, Twins) in addition to the 500 version of the current 350cc ones. BTW, Honda has been in this commuter segment from a long time, initially it was in partnership with Hero and examples I have given above are of pretty old bikes. Secondly CB series is also decades old series, so they have pretty good experience in almost all segments. No doubt, Honda is better at technology, but RE has started doing it well. I agree but BUYING at the end of the day is an emotional decision EVEN for those who say they're a practical person. RE would be bankrupt by now if their worshippers start thinking logical. Just my opinion. (Disclaimer: Owned RE Classic 350 for 6 years)
Actually honda should have launched 500 instead of 350 which would definitely divide the re350 and re interceptor customers in huge amount as 350 is comfortable but can’t ride above 90 and 650 is vibration less but not comfortable
They are launching few more variants in forth coming months and years. I think it would rival RE on full scale

How meteor can be classic. When we have Classic 350 itself.
If you've never had fruit, you don't know if you'd like apples better than oranges.
After comparing each and every expect i am finally owner of cb350. Happily rode my first 100km

Year 1984 June . Had bought the Rajdoot Yamaha RD350 .Used it for 10 years . Great crazy speed rides in the MUMBAI-PUNE-NASHIK triangle .Used to enjoy making the REs of those days bite the dust . That was the real super bike ever in India .
Looks like you dud not meet the Rx100 once you entered city 😉 moral of story..... There is more to a bike than flat out speed
@@tanmayhaldar7565 RX100 and RD350 are totally different classes. RD350 had a mileage of 5 kmpl on a good day and with the amount of mad power its impossible to not rip it all the time. @@knitinpatel you are blindly a honda fan boy and i have seen your many comments on other chats. It depends upon customer buddy which one they will pick. So it depends upon me which one i would pick its personal for everyone if you buy honda then it good for you and not for everyone , give good comments about your bike without blaming other brands. It's depends upon us which one we would choose by taking test ride.
Looks like you have not touched Meteor. First go and ride the bike.
I took test ride of 5 bikes in one day ... Classic 350 , meteor 350 , Himalayan , jawa and cb 350 ... The best I felt on was meteor 350 ❤️❤️❤️ and I'm not even a fan boy of RE ..

As a Honda H'ness owner, my second free service cost me ₹3,200 at Druvadesh honda Bengaluru, without any additional parts, and the paid services are expected to be around ₹4,000 to ₹5,000. This is something I would have appreciated knowing beforehand!
Please consider this point before purchasing Honda CB350 bikes
Well I do lot of touring on motorcycle especially in Himalayas and I think For touring ride RE should be the choice cos of service network. CB 350 has no service network in remote areas like RE have. If honda offers service at all places then it will be tough competition.
@@knitinpatel And this is where logic dies.
I want to laugh at your point regarding activa and Bajaj. RE is KILLING it in UK, US where Honda is pretty well established. That's why I say that logic died a tragic death after reading your comment. Do a little research maybe.
Agreed Honda will take market share and it deserves to. I guess there's enough for everyone to play. RE will remain the market leader in the next 5 years.
@@knitinpatel Ultimately the Indian consumer wins and I am happy with that. No need to be personal with comments like that. Peace out.
@@knitinpatel If Honda feels that it can beat RE, it will surely want to beat RE, just the way you yourself gave example of Activa. However, Activa was totally a different product as compared to Bajaj Scooters and the same thing was told by Bullu also, they need atleast 40% better product. Just check the response of Interceptor in UK where people don't go by emotions ;).
Been loyal to RE since last 20 years, used 5 of them, models Std, Machismo and Classic. After a thorough research, going to upgrade to Dominar 400 soon. Wish me luck !
