For mirrors yea, its kind of an issue if one is wider from shoulders, and was an issue for me as well. I installed blind spot mirrors and they actually work really good, mainly used for identifying vehicle running parallelly with u. For mileage, its a mixed bag for my cb350 as well, sometimes when i ride aggressively i get around 32, 34, but when i ride normally its very good 38ish mileage. I would suggest check once with honda folks when you pay a visit at center.

Honda's coaxial balancer shaft is much better and it does the job really well. You can still choose the RE if you want your body to vibrate in resonance with the engine. And yes, no matter what, RE will still be the most recommended brand similar to the Maruti Suzuki's. People consider "resale value" as a crucial factor so they go with the RE's. That doesn't make the vehicle any better. It's the ride quality and the overall experience that does.
