Hey Zigwheels... Let me tell you Something about this beast... Last month I took this RE on a long tour, real long tour. From Shahdol of MP to Kanya Kumari, via Chennai, Rameshwaram. Kilometer count was 3300 KMs (1400 with pillion and 1900 single). Now the highlights... What so ever it says in term's of data on paper, does not signify its true character. On highway it roars, be it acceleration, balance, speed or cruising. It overtakes a speeding long truck without a downshift, it cruises over 100 KM for hours and yet it is stable like a rock. I am a moderate rider and before this machine, 80 KMPH was my upper limit on hight way... But in this tour I kept on crossing three digit mark. Yes rear suspension is stiffer but in long rides (680 KM in a day) it actually helps and keeps you in place. It is also economical, with cruising speed of 90 +, it provided 38 KMPL . Please keep in mind just first service has been done and it is waiting for its second one (scheduled on next Sunday). All those who wants to know more about this beauty can cantact me.. I was not a RE fan earlier but has done Leh, Sphiti and Jaisalmer on Classic, but after my Meteor Steller Black, I am in love with RE.
How long did you have to wait before your bike got delivered? How are the refinement levels at higher speeds (above 80)? I'm thinking of switching from my NS that is giving me a load of problems
@@s0vietonion I got my bike after one month of wait.. (though they initially asked me to wait for 3 months but they delivered it after 30 days). If you ask me about refinement over 80. Its very good. I touched 115 max and nothing unsettling happened. I cruised over 100 for more than 70 minutes and it was smooth, confident and joyful. I hvnt used NS so cant compair but, this machine is for cruising and it is best at its job.
I was feeling good till @14:03 .. When he said Plastic... I love the weight of RE which also got reduced.. verdict: Better than H'ness since it contains lot of plastic... But I would buy Himalayan and attach cell phone holder... Update: Engine update was good that it will blow hole in classic and bullet sales... Awesome @Zigwheel for the unbiased review... Kudos....
My take on this: I'd personally prefer owning a Honda, but I'd give some credit to Royal Enfield. They have come a long way since their old vibrating models with subpar build quality. Compared to their previous 350 models, the Meteor sounds promising. But they're gonna get a very tough competition from Honda's product on this one! Haters are going to hate and troll as they always did from the beginning, but As a product coming from India (at least partly), I give RE a thumbs up. Looking forward for a test ride.
Review great as usual but CB350 much better option..just heard the exhaust note of cb350 today from showroom and it's just amazing and unbelievable much better than RE sound..just loved it😍
A really thorough review. Such a shame that when it reaches the UK the price will put it up against much better equipped and better performing machines. I do rather liked it though and I think it might appeal to those with long term ownership and running costs in mind who have decided that they no longer need mega performance.

@@s0vietonion
I got my bike after one month of wait..
@@Darvesh27 how much on road
@@Originalrebelosho prices have been changed since January. I paid 2.2 L for my steller black. I thinks it is 10 to 12 K more now a days.
3:47 "The industry standard and globally accepted #chaicuptest " 😂 nice to see a trend started by you going crazy
The cinematography, the camera work are just awesome in your video...the review is obviously helpful. 🙌👏

I just liked your way of telling the "modern materials" ummm hhhhh plastic
😂😂😂😂😂👏👏👏👏👏
😅
I never liked cruiser style motorbikes....until now! I want to come to India, buy a RE Meteor and cruise around for some months. Great review!😎👍
You're always welcome to India sir😊
Everybody is Gansta , until royal Enfield breaks down 😂
nice joke
😂😂😂then he will be sweatster😂😂
Review great as usual but CB350 much better option..just heard the exhaust note of cb350 today from showroom and it's just amazing and unbelievable much better than RE sound..just loved it😍
Who thinking 🤔 about how to customise the 🏍 bike 😂
Me that handle bar,😂
Spoke Wheels
Backlight
Led Headlight
Wind Shield

A really thorough review. Such a shame that when it reaches the UK the price will put it up against much better equipped and better performing machines. I do rather liked it though and I think it might appeal to those with long term ownership and running costs in mind who have decided that they no longer need mega performance.
this tempts me to exchange my 2013 Electra with this
I already did last week😊
Thank you for the presentation in English, now I would buy it in Indonesia

What ever.. which ever bike come to market... my HeroHonda CD-Dawn is incredible.. reliable... Durable engine... 11 years old.. 113000 KM run.. But still Young and energetic... Still it's taking Rs.500 maintenance/service cost for every 2000 KM.. I'm getting old but not my bike... 😎😇
Foget highness 350..I like its design more than hi'ness 350. It's RE time ♥️♥️♥️. From a RE fan. RE fans likes thoko😍.
Really great, the best Meteor review! Thanks to ZigWheels!

@@danielcabral4723 Fala Daniel!
