(love the new RE meteor)....
This is one of the nicest motorcycle review videos I have seen. It's just like I am sitting pillion and riding with you! No BGM, No commentary, just the feel. Lovely.
I've had more than 25 motorcycles during the years and now a proud owner of a Yellow Meteor 350 as shown in your video. Last years I've lost the pleasure of riding motorcycles and always were looking to the fun. For some it was no gears like a scooter but I hate the sound of it and not more than going from A to B. Some motorcycles had a lot of hp's and you need to get the adrenaline boost of fast riding or acceleration. With the Royal Enfield I really really enjoy the riding itself. Just cruising. The bike always speak to me and tell me. Wim, I don't care if you open the throttle half or wide open. I won't go fast, simply because I can't. Enjoy the ride and if you are in a hurry or to late for an appointment, just pick up the phone and tell the person that you are to late, it's just that easy. Love that bike and the spirit around. I can do short highway tracks if necessary. Faster than a truck, slower than a normal family car. Low fuel consumption 2,9lit/100km. Top bike!
Idk how to explain, but it makes me feel peace, like a brake from all the work and having to go fast all the time during the week, we i get the time to ride on the weekengs, get out of the city, travel trough some back roads, feel the wind, the road, it brings peace, guess im crazy
One of the most comfortable and fun bikes I’ve ridden. You can go anywhere on one of these if you’re ok with 20hp and not going faster than 70mph. I test rode one and loved it, same lovely yellow, but ended up buying the Classic 350 bc I didn’t want another cruiser this time.
I'm very on the fence about it. I love the look of the classic 350, but the 70mph top speed kind of throws me off. Even my 1986 Rebel 250 could do 80... It just isn't great for US roads. Really limits where you can ride
@@pauld.b7129 Thus why I probably won’t keep it. If I had room for two bikes I would, but eventually I will need a faster bike again. Right now Enfields are available when a lot of other bikes aren’t. Dealers are overstocked with them right now. If I didn’t have one I’d definitely be looking at what’s coming out for 2023-24 because availability should be back to normal.
@@mindspinn311 yeah my local dealer has a Meteor for $4150 right now. Killer deal, but I'm just not sure I'd be happy with it. How's the acceleration feel? Is it at least peppy up to 60 or so? It seems like a great bike when it's in it's element.
@@pauld.b7129 No it’s only peppy in city environments or on empty back roads. You have to get used to how it makes speed. If you’re used to a normal bike it feels very slow at first. If you want 0-60 confidence you need a lighter bike with at least 40hp. Even the Honda CB300R is significantly quicker.
Oh the fast part!! The cornering clearance is quite low on that motorcycle. And for good reason. But yes. Compared to the previous generation Royal Enflied engines, this is way more refined and fre-revving. I love the old world charm that it brings though. Anyways, Thanks for the video, Schaaf! Love from India!
I have a 3 year old meteor and recently I decided to go for a faster bike and try some offroad as well and got the new triumph Scrambler 400x. The plan was to sell the meteor but when the calls started coming I could not let go of the meteor. The slow pace relaxed riding is just something else. So now I own both.

Hi Schaaf, Absolutely Love Your Videos, infact one of my favourite videos on this channe is the meteor 350, interceptor 650 and the hayabusa ones. I was curious to ask a question, Whether royal enfield still has the stellar custom black colour for the meteor 350 abroad, here in India, they discontinued it last year, and according to our dealership the last stellar black custom is with me only because here in india people didnt bought the colour as it had a waiting period of 1 month and extra booking amount if compared to others as well. @@cmiguelq I liked three of them. But if I'm getting a next bike, which I'm seriously thinking of, I'm leaning more towards the Meteor. Mostly because it looks good and is comfortable for my Dad too. He didn't like the Himalayan/Hunter. If Honda would bring something similar to the Meteor, like they did with the CB350, I'd definitely go for the Honda.
