Good news is we already have a Motion Raceworks throttle body adapter for these engines 🇺🇸
can you start up Wheelman again? loved it.
That was fast!
I'd be curious if a Chevy could handle the Godzilla?
🤘🏼
UTE deserves the engine
I vote Jackstand takes the lead on this one. The mustang should get the Godzilla, 6 speed, blower to max then turbo. All the ideas I had in my mind he ended up spitballing lol
Love this combo
Except that is compound boost (blower and Turbo) and they already said they don't want to deal with that.
Exactly what I was thinking.
ford charger powered mustang + 6 speed manual 🤤🤤
@@CrisNuyt1 I think he meant max out the supercharger then switch to turbos
Totally agree with Jackstand. Fox body with a 6 speed. The Ford version of Leroy. Can get lowest ET in A stick shift Ford To go with Leroy's record, And as Kevin says "everything is better with a turbo".🤓
nah start with a blower just like leroy then transition to turbo
Leroy doesn't hold the record anymore, that got taken a long time ago
6-speed in the fox with a big single turbo
6 speed and stock first, then add boost.
@@Matty.Hill_87 Yes I know. Just sayin
Honestly, I really like the idea of what Jackstand is putting out. Start fresh with the Fox Body with the godzilla. Stick shift, and work your way up again
This. Blasphemy putting a ford engine in the Holden.
Everything makes sense about this. Such a good idea.
Hell yeah I would agree. Godzilla ford engine in a old school foxbody? It's such a good platform. I wonder how their gonna route the steering box tho.. might just throw away the whole rack and pinion and get something totally different with a tubular k member. Idk. I had to do that with my foxbody. But it's got a sbc. No ls.
Stick shift mustang for the Godzilla. I like James’s idea of starting fresh, just build it na, get it working great, then add nitrous, then boost.
Then start breaking records after a year or 2!
Mustang deserves the Ford engine. Ute deserves a LS. But suuuper interested in the Ute build when that happens 🤤
I love democracy
agree! ive always wanted a ute also should be a fun build to watch>
@@noname-oe9jy Good thing we aren't a democracy.. Fucking morons would be LS swapping our government lol..
I agree with you but it would piss all the Chevy guys that put an ls in everything especially the fox body
ute should get another aussie built engine
I like James’ idea with the Foxbody. Make it a stick and I personally would like to see a pro charger on there
I was thinking the exact same thing
Oml I was about to say that
a pro charger would be absolutely nuts on that thing! I wanna see it
Agreed
Sameeeeeeee
I vote stick Fox Body for the Godzilla. I’d like to see a “start-over” like jackstand was talking about.
For the Godzilla, I'd choose the Mustang, manual tran, and with a roots type supercharger. You already made the justification, easier to get parts, and if the supercharger is limiting replace with dual turbiskeees!!! Hell Yeah Brother!! James is on the money!!
My first reaction was against the Fox Body, but then after hearing jackstand discuss it I'm onboard with the Fox Body crew. Procharger + Godzilla + stick sounds like the way to go.
Jack stand said it best lo. I was like u you know what foxbody haha
This but I'd also like to see what that 7.3 will do pretty much bone stock N/A before they do any sort of power adder
can you put the louvers in the back too?
I agree! A procharger or a blower would be great and they could have a ton of fun playing around in it!
Not pro charger twin screw just for that wine but not the gf wine that awesome twin screw wine
Putting the 7.3 Godzilla motor with a huge Supercharger, mated to a manual transmission in the Fox body sounds awesome.
Hell Yeah Brother! 💪🦅💪
My exact thoughts as well
Also my exact thought 😂
Yeah I second this. I’m just not a big fan of a manual for drag racing it’s hard and super expensive too go real fast with them. Vs say a th400
hell yea thats what i think to
Agreeed!!
I'm with James. He needs to take lead on the Mustang build. Just look at Neighbor. That was his first project there. Solid Ripper. Ute has my heart tho. Love those things.
Agree! Fox body down Leroy’s path, NA to supercharged to turbo manual. If James wants the crate engine in the UTE you know it’s going to be a ripper of an engine!
There's no question here boy's mustang and stick. I think thats what we all want to see.
Stick shift
lol that cut in the beginning while drinking the Algae water was perfectly timed to not show Cletus saying "we get the shot?" LMAO
Mustang, Manual, Blower. Like James said, people are going to want to do that with the Godzilla so the build videos will become reference material down the track!
Also a good chance for Motion to be manufacturing any additional parts for the build which will then be more marketable compared to anything manufactured for the commodore
As long as it will be straight piped and stick shift I’m happy also a ford needs a ford engine
Manual would rock and love to see you orogress in this car cleetus
@@gijs3926 eens Gijs!
1000% with James on this one, 7.3 has to go in the Fox and recreate that Leroy magic.
manual with blower instead of turbo
Manual Blower Car , then maybe a big Procharger
I'd definitely prefer to see a 6 speed behind that motor in the Mustang with a centrifugal supercharger boosting it!!
Hell yeah brother!
And a slipper clutch
Agreed ^
YES I JUST SAID THE SAME
This^
Gotta go with the ute! There's an acre of fox bodies out there, but you never see a Holden outside of Australia. Go manual for the challenge and twin turbskis is a must!
I’m totally agreeing with jackstand, the infamous unique fox body for the Godzilla engine with a 6 speed manual and blower to start and foxzilla for the name would be a sick twist on both names to go along with the other names in the fleet, and I can’t wait to see that thing ripping down the track and shredding some tires like neighbor, I’m a huge fan and watch every episode y’all post, you guys are true testimate kick ass car guys keep it up guys I love the videos.
foxzilla 🤘🏻
Definitely Foxzilla
I agree this is a good idea
Foxzilla! Great name.
Foxzilla for the W!
I'm with James on this. Mustang build with a stick and single turbo. Gonna have to be a pretty big single though. 88mm at minimum.
That and there's already swap parts for Foxbodys too
I'm with James as well mustang all the way
+1
Hell yeah. Stick shift turbo fox would just be so fun and relate more to a lower budget majority of us out here trying to have fun
Dual turbskies and call it an ecoboost
James hit it on the head, another Leroy style quest for speed with a new platform would be amazing. My vote is to do the fox body with a six speed and supercharger. Turbo would likely be faster in the long run, but all of your current drag cars are already turbo.
I’m saying they should do multi throttlebody all motor to begin with. Then when boost comes along it might be a responsive son-of-a even with a way too big turbo
I'd love to see you go through the same process as you did Leroy in the mustang. Put a stick shift in it, start of with a super charger than go to a single turbo setup once you out run the super charger and than later on go with a twin turbo setup but change it up and go with hidden turbos.
I thing stick shift with a pro charger would be insane👍🏻
@@TheLilBrant I think it would be as well. The only car he has with a pro charger is his C7 and he has t ram that in a long time.
Ya thats a cool idea
I'd go with the mustang. Stick shift like James said and a procharger would be cool
well if james said it
I couldn’t agree more
That would be a cool setup. 100% agree
Totally agree pro charger for the win brother.
Big tire stick fox body with a pro-charger set up. Would really really cool to see something so much different than the rest of the fleet. Gotta keep the hood off though lol
I was thinking the same exact thing besides the hood part
I’m with James! Stickshift fox body sounds awesome. Considering the fact that the other ford you got has a blower and the fact your signature builds have a turbo I’d go twin turbski for sure. Just to make it more early day Leroy as well.
👍 this
I agree with the stick shift foxbody, but change it up and go for a big single turbo instead of twins
@@aaronferguson2357 nah a big single is going to deal with major turbo lag. If you have a powerglide or similar you can keep the engine rpm high during shifting but with a manual your going to drop to much in shifting and your shifting at least 3 times in a manual on the quarter mile. So no in a stick shift twins are the only way to go even when dealing with a 7.3L
@@mathyskramer7576 true, great point. Twins it is then
I’m probably the only person that has painted an xr8 Ute here in the states, I painted one for RDP Motorsports almost a decade ago, they are super neat cars!
Absolutely Need The Foxbody And Procharger on the Godzilla with a 6 speed. Neighbor has shown to be the less hassle with a blown mod motor already. And we’re tired of turbo ls EVERYTHING. WE KNOW IT WORKS. BUT BEING DIFFERENT AND HAVING VARIETY IS WHAT MADE U COOL BROTHER.
Foxbody, supercharger, manual. You wanna have another journey like Leroy. So definitely gotta get the manual and most of your fleet is turbo'd so supercharger may be a fun new challenge. And the reason for the foxbody honestly is James sold me on it lol.
Pro charger!
@@m113kswapgoldstein9 C7 is procharged.
I agree with Jackstand .. put the godzilla engine in the Fox body (foxzilla). It's a Ford, put a Ford engine in it. TURBO IT!! NO QUESTION!
It will be a cool build and a BEAST! maybe do a nitrous build?
The Mustang with a supercharger, and a stick transmission IMO would make for an all around type vehicle. 😎
I'd personally prefer the Godzilla engine in the Mustang, paired with a manual gearbox. "FoxZilla" would be a pretty wild build, and it would be insanely interesting to watch the progression. I enjoyed watching Leroy progressing, so it'd be fun to see a new take on that type of content. At some point, if "FoxZilla" got to be as fast as Leroy, you could race the cars against eachother like you used to do with Leroy and Ruby.
In my eyes, "FoxZilla" has far more potential than Thunder. I have no issues with the Ute, I just don't think it'd provide as much entertainment value.
Foxzilla good name
I'm with you, the step by step budget progression would be worth the watch.
theres a ton of mustangs swapped with these already literally one of the first swaps was a foxbody. Let em be unique and do the Ute.
This is 100% the play.
@@MrFreakout76 I've been looking for videos, seen only a couple progression videos. Not so much as a Godzilla swapped mustang dyno pull. Cleetus would be the first to do it right. Gotta at least be a Ford chassis
Godzilla: Mustang, Procharger, Stick Shift, Radials
Bristol: competition caution halfway through, change right fronts and add fuel. A couple of burnouts to entertain the crowd while the pits are live. Maybe each driver brings a designated Jackman/tire changer (1 person for both)
This is the best idea I have seen thus far !!
So just like normal race caution at local track. It’s perfect way and easiest way.
Procharger... spicy recommendation, nice.
Yes to this set up
that's exactly what i was thinking
I’m not a ford guy but I absolutely love notchbacks, and love third pedals. Do the fox and staff like Leroy
My opinion:
1. Mustang
2. Manual
3. Procharger if possible
Regarding the Ute, maybe save it for later. It'd be cool if you put a Gen III HEMI in it since this channel hasn't seen too much MOPAR content. Maybe even a diesel swap if you get JH's help.
This guy has got the right idea. Completely agree with this
you know what's up lmao
6BT would work well in the commodore
this guy knows the deal
this comment couldn't be any better. i also would like to see some mopar content as well.
Like everyone else is saying, Mustang, Godzilla, manual and supercharger.
The Holden seems much more fitting being a burnout car, maybe a car for George? This is a pipe dream, but it'd be cool to see Toast, Killa-B and the Holden return to Australia for Summernats.
duuuuude, this. Blown big block GM in the Holden, manual.
This would be great, I think a pro charger would be sick on the Godzilla motor
i like this option!!
This.
Agree!! Call the mustang "King kong" , put a blower on the godzilla and keep it manual!!! Not Because its easy, but Because you can... love the budget build allso!! Tell the retail prices also so it isnt just a sponsor plug, though ofcause it has an "motion" on the side...
I vote for the white car!
Really, the Fox is my vote. TONS of parts for. I love James' vote for a 6spd / manual trans. The Ute would be amazing but drop the twisted tea 10.3L into it...
While a screw charger would be cool I think Turbo's would be cool too.
Also, I see a White Ranger and a White T-Bird.... Just saying... :)
Also, the Crown Vic IFS is a practical bolt on for Bump and Dent side F-trucks... Could do a truck - truck build, not a car - truck like Mullet... A Short Box 79 F100 lowered with a Crown Vic front IFS would be pretty bad ass... Call it Uncle Jesse... :)
Maybe with a procharger, they don't have one yet.
@@ferdynandkiepski5026 C7 has a procharger
I wanna see a mid engine Ute, don't care which engine
I agree all the way.
They should put a LENCO transmission in the fox with the Godzilla engine. That’s something they have not played with yet.
Stang stick súper to turbo. Budget build and then each step as Jack stand said. Thanks for all you guys do!!!
Mustang gets the Godzilla engine and goes the OG Leroy route. Start off NA, max out it's potential, go SC and max out the potential, then go twins or big single. Manual transmission like Leroy. It'd be cool to see the progression of a build like OG Leroy but with a stupid light, full body car.
that's be cool
I’m with James on this one! Mustang with Godzilla engine! T56 and a big ole single turbo... Would be wicked if Tye could make a 8 to 1 to turbo exhaust :)
big single ftw! i agree 100%
Up then to the front down into the turbo
100% Foxzilla with a 6 speed and watch the progress of chasing the times down throughout the build. Love the current content, but we’re missing the old school Leroy build type of content as well. Either way though it’ll be fun and entertaining.
Foxzilla... Fucking amazing
Foxzilla
That is a great name for it.
Foxbody for the win.
A godzilla mid engine ute would also be fun thing to do.
But I want them early days Leroy vibes again.
The foxbody is definitely the way to go, make it manual too would be a sick build of a fox!
With a procharger
Agreed! 👍
I'm with James, stick shift in the Mustang would be cool. Maybe go centrifugal supercharger because that's something we haven't really seen on the channel beyond the C7.
lol you havent been around long have ya
Centrifugal supercharger is pretty much the worst of both worlds, mostly for budget or engine bay space reasons.
@@ToStompU the only centrifugal supercharged car is the c7?? So it would be different
@@safecracker112 I just think it'd be interesting to see. We got twin turbos on Mullet and Leroy, a big single on Ruby, the Blazer is getting a positive displacement blower, a centrifugal is the one thing missing from the race cars.
@@sp33d4l0l agreed!
Do the stang and stick shift and supercharger
Fox body for sure, would love to see it stick shift with a giant pro charger, would be a crime to put a ford motor in a Holden ute 😉
Hell yeah! Big pro charger!
@@m113kswapgoldstein9 only ever been 1 pro charged car on this channel and we need another one to let those bald eagles scream
I mean he could throw a set of zoomies on there aswell 😂
Fox body Mustang with the Godzilla engine, manual transmission and a pro charger sounds great. Either way it’ll be awesome content. Looking forward to all your future content like always.
1000% agree!
Fox body gets my vote. Stick shift all day with a turbo. Shave the molding off and the door handles. Make it look cherry mint. Although the Holden would have more capacity for the road trip races, I'm still voting for the Mustang which is lighter for the track.
Supercharged 7.3 with a stick in the mustang. And for the Ute, you already have a drag truck and now an Aussie burnout car, without knowing what engine you have, an autocross or road course car would be sick.
Foxbody, 6 speed manual, supercharger, end up going to turbos later once you reach full potential with the blower. I am interested in seeing what this 7.3 Godzilla platform can do, I work at a Ford dealer and honestly dont see to many these days and the ones I do see are left stock.
These are some of the hardest decisions of my life... but since the boys just got a right hand car with KillaB, time to shake things up.
Mustang. Wrap it in white, call it "diet Dr pepper", and challenge Parker to race!

I’m with Jackstand, the 7.3 on the Mustang with the 6 speed and my personal opinion the Ute would be cool as a dedicated burnout monster for George. Just make sure he get more composed on his burnouts!! 🙄🤣
That fatty he walked down the main straight was pretty composed I must say, all it takes is practice!
I agree 1000% on this comment supercharged 7.3 though
@@LightIySaltedPeanuts you’re completely right on the straight he’s good for now but to take care of a real ausie style burnout car needs practice. I put him in the picture because I have faith in him!!
Fox body ,stick, turbo in the race to be the first stick shift to go sevens again just like Leroy. But love the on a budget idea too!
I would personally LOVE to see the stick shift evolution in the Mustang. I loved watching the evolution with Leroy and think it would be amazing to see it all over again with a whole different platform.
YES
yes that series with Leroy quest for 9s, 8s, then 7s and also trying supercharger then switching to turbos was sick. would love that again. also think it would be awesome to see an f1x work its way into a build sometime. godzilla with an f1x would be rowdy
100% agree I loved watching the progress with Leroy and seeing them get faster and faster
Godzilla in the fox, manual, and supercharged would be so cool. I’d love to see the progression again like the early Leroy days.
Second this
This, 100%
Agreed
I think 7.3 in the fox, definitely stick, start with a procharger and see how far you can get. Then once you max out the car as a pro charged setup before getting into the ridiculous procharger setups go big single stick car which is something not in the fleet at the moment.
I agree with the fox choice, manual, saw someone say go SC first see how far you can go with it, then go turbo to compare. More content more fun
I like how respectful and grateful Roman was. He seems like a genuinely good person I’m happy you invited him. We all grew up watching I hope he keeps on updating.
Fax
Definitely stick shift in the mustang, "supercharger to start with"
The ute will end up awesome whenever it does haha
Yes to this!
Bump!
Mustang as a no prep car, not strictly dedicated to leave room for other tomfoolery, would be sick.
@@freddyflirt15 the fact that you know what a "bump" is. I appreciate you. Hahaa
Bumpppp
As a purely Chevy guy I've always had a soft spot for fox bodies. They are just great cars that really stood the test of time for the Mustang platform. Godzilla that sucker with a 6 speed a slipper clutch and a procharger!
Until you try to use it and realize what a wet noodle of a car it is.
@@rustler08 Not after a full cage setup.
I'd like to see this engine in something like a very clean LSC or MN12 Thunderbird/Cougar for that "Power Tour" and do it all cruiser build!

Fuck yea anthor Aussie can't put a ford motor In a commy
Can’t put a ford motor in the Ute. I mean yeah, obviously there’s Barra commies out there, but he has a Holden Ute so he has to do something with the Ute that will make us Aussies proud.
Yo I’m in Melbourne too mad respect ✊
Greetings from Texas!!! I agree, the 7.3 with the fox body sounds cool but I really love UTE's!!! I'm curious to see what they do with it👍👍
The Commo as a drift car? 🤔
I'm really hoping the Godzilla goes in the Foxbody, I'd love to see a stickshift, and I'd love to see a super charger initially see what kind of performance you can get out of a super charger, then switch to a turbo at a later date when you want to start pushing those 7s.
Exactly this!
I 100% agree
100% this
I think it should be Centrifugal or screw blown because he has 3 turbo drag cars already and they are waaaay more efficient than roots blowers
100%
Since making a mid engine minivan wasn’t an option, I guess I would lean towards the Foxbody.
Mid mount the engine in the tray of the Holden ute behind the cab and use Corvette diff gearbox.
Manual Foxbody would be cool af, with a big tire the stick shift world record will be very attainable...
I also really want to see a pro mod on the channel, maybe base one off the Ute?
Pro mod fox body
@@drumbeatsoffline6804 Would be great, but not very unique.
Ford chassis needs the Ford powerplant and definitely with a mansmission in it, and would be cool as a single big turbo which you havent done yet. Maybe precision PT118 CEA. Or one of the monstrous 120mm+ compression side turbos offer by turbonetics or garret.
i nearly spit out my food. manmission is a new one for me... fantastic
@@balltongue87 Cleetus said it all the time with the C7 and Leroy.
Ruby is a single big turbo.
Dont be a douchebag and call it a mansmission. My mom taught me how to drive a manual while my dad only owns automatics.
The Godzilla should go into the Mustang. Like you said, you can make it really light and parts are really easy to get. Like Jackstand said its a proven platform. As for the trans I like the idea of a manual but with a supercharger. Leroy, Ruby, and Mullet are all turbo while Neighbor is supercharged.
i like the idea but i prefer turbo.
Honestly I like James and Cleetus’s ideas make it a all around mustang with a stick and Godzilla with a Blower make her mean n nasty
My vote is for the foxbody. Do what James said. Have it do everything. Truly throw everything you can at it, and just have fun doing it! :)
The Holden is unique, but what's even more unique is a Ford engine in a Foxbody. 🤣 99% of them are LS swapped.
I think a Ford in a Ford would hurt some feelings. 😎👌
Thunder vs Mullet tho... sounds good
lmfao
Godzilla definitely has to go into the Mustang with a HUGE procharger.
Jack stand’s right. In the fox, stick shift, blower to the max, then go from there.
Being an Aussie, would love to see the ol' VZ in action, but NOT with a Ford motor!! Stick that in the 'Stang, manual trans, and you know it's going to be a turbski or two, that's already decided in the back of your minds, LOL!!
Put mullets engine in the vz and it will go fast small tyre radial car
As an Australian, stop crying. You're making the rest of us look bad.
Exactly i own one of these and am disgusted knowing they even though about sticking a shitbox Ford engine in a Holden.. only one acceptable would be a Barra as it is a Aussie engine.
Being a Kiwi, I was horrified at the thought of putting a Ford in a Holden, but only for a minute. There's no purist rules here. Do what you want, put a Ford in a GM. There'd be so many guys crying, yourll need a boat!
Isn't it a vy...?
Also Voting for God-Stang, initially N/A+Stick, then Blown, then turbski'd. I'm sure whatever is in the Mystery box will be awesome in the ute.
You changed my mind. I would have voted foxzilla, but God-stang would be about right considering the fox body is the lightest weight mustang ever built and the godzilla is the most powerful Ford engine ever.
Good plan for it though. Leroy stated out blown, and this could be a good plan for the God-stang. (It's always gonna be the God-stang in my mind.)
Mystery box is mullets big block from Steve Morris
Yes omg yes the god-stang
Nah, you just get a over 2l blower and turbos will not keep up on a budget. But nitrous is the king of the ring but def isn’t budget friendly lol
I was really leaning UTE… but after thinking about it the mustang is probably the best choice. I think auto would be a great idea but as James sometimes starting fresh is fun so I agree with the 6spd. Can’t wait to see the fun unfold!
Ute For Sure!! Stick shift, honestly, Blower would be sick as you don't have many in the fleet
Definitely throw that Zilla in the mustang with a 6 speed manual transmission. I'd love to see a supercharged drag car in the group too!
exactly what i was thinking
The blazer is about to be an 8second blower car
I think the fox makes the most sense. Parts are readily available. Seeing another stick shift build would be cool, though an auto would be the more consistent build. If you go manual, I would say turbo. If you go auto, let's see a blower car.
Mustang is the one for the engine. Would love to see the Ute as a race week type build though but with a Barra engine!!!
There will be a LOT of triggered Holden fans if you put a Barra in it 😆.
Nar stuff the barra. been done to many times now. Go OG and build a 3.8 buick v6 :P
You not allowed to barra a holden...we already sour America stole holden from Australia let alone putting the aussie engine in aswell..salt in the wound boys ...SALT
I vote Barra for the ute for maximum blasphemy. :)
I think it would be so different seeing a cool barra build in the US and it makes a change form all the V8 powerplants
Yep! Love the Ute but gotta be the Fox body with the Ford Godzilla, seen so many Fox bodies just flying down the track, you’ve got to do one and it’ll be awesome to see it grow and change like Leroy did.
This seems like job for Jackstand , he sounds like he has a plan. Side note make the ute a stickshift to up the difficulty .
Mate Holden's are the easiest stick shift Ute's to drive plus he's gonna have to source a commodore box from aus to get the drive train to work
Barra Engine in the Ute
@@jordanodonahoo2769 The GTO’s should be the exact same trans, mounts and all (excluding the lhd only specific components) as they are based on the same generation Monaro’s and Commodore as their ute.

Being an Aussie id say the commodore ute, but would be wrong to put a Ford engine in a GM, so definatly the mustang with turbo and manual transmission.
The Holden ute deserves an LS also turbo manual.
Just an Aussies opinion 😜
Also being an Aussie, I'm ashamed that you called it a commodore
Nah mate fuck outta here with ya ls turbo they need to put a Vl turbo in the ute chuck a set of stockis on the back and just do some Mexico runs with it
Being an Aussie does it bother you this engine should not be called a godzilla, Godzilla has been rb26 since beginning of time =)
@@bluebird8004 it is a commodore ute though..
Imagine Toast's engine in that ute with twin 4 inch pipes out the back
Even as a Aussie, I'd love to see a big single turbo Godzilla 6 speed manual in the foxbody. The Ute is good but given the freight costs etx from here to there it would be extremely expensive for a project.
not necessarily most parts are just standard GM parts the only thing they would need would be cosmetic and they are have contacts over here vy/vz holden parts ute or sedan are easy to come by at the moment, and it already looks pretty much all there
Fox body - Stick Twin turbo and do a cantilever suspension in the rear, that way you can set your suspension up for drag then two locking bars with pull pins can lock out the rear shocks- no movement in the rear = less traction/weight transfer results in Hella burnouts
my vote would be mustang, stick shift, blower. the ute is cool and all, and I totally hope you do something in the future with it, but with the 7.3L, have to go notch back!
Seems pretty unanimous for the ford motor to go in the ford, being an Aussie I think using that Ute and throw a Barra in it would make for a nice change having an Aussie built car with an Aussie built engine and those things are absolute weapons down the quarter mile. Might upset the purists putting a ford motor in the Ute but I think that would be something aussies would love to see and lots of Americans unfamiliar with the Barra motors could be introduced to these too.
that's the ONLY Ford motor that should even be considered, but yes, DO IT!!
Barra is cool cause the Aussies made it pretty much everything else ford is hot garbage
No. Aussies wont accept a ford motor in a holden. Just no
@@nunya73 well, I’m an Aussie and I think it would be awesome. Aussie motor in Aussie car that’s alright by me.

Foxbody, stick shift, start off NA, then when you’ve topped out go single turbo. The engine has plenty displacement for down low torque.
If you look up dandy engines in Australia they just finished a ford XA falcon (sedan) with a Supercharged 7.3 Godzilla and it’s making impressive numbers and fast slip times 💪 put it in the fox body 💪💪the video is on harrop’s u tube 👍👍
Notchback with a big procharger and a stick. Procharger would be the "new" power adder for the actual race cars. The OG vette has one obviously. Sam needs a car!!
I was thinking screw blower for nice mix of style points and race car
Yeah but nothing beats a turbo Procharger needs power to make power from the crank and boost only comes in until like 4500rpm depending on the motor setup
I think the Godzilla should go in the mustang and go manual for sure. I’m really stoked to watch this build either way!! I loved the old days watching Leroy slowly get better and better, I would love to watch something like that again! Oh and I think you should go turbo, can’t go wrong with a turbo! Or maybe a pro charger just for something different.
That's what brought me to this channel, was the slow build up of Leroy, and then Ruby, and then the Blazer...
I like watching them go from stock, to blown up, to budget build, to full blown build
@@AH-lw2bj Oh for sure, I absolutely agree!
definitely throw it in the mustang with a stick shift behind it. turbo is cool but supercharger or pro charger is something I'd like to see more of.
Fox body, stick, and centrifugal supercharger. Start with a small blower and mild mods and work up to a massive pro charger and wild mods.
You have done this with single and twin turbos. Time for the centrifugal supercharger to take a turn. IMO. Very excited about the fox body addition. Keep up the great content!
Isnt his white corvette a procharger?
Agreed. I'd love to see a giant promod level centri blower on one of their cars finally.
I LOVE it when James is involved in decision making. His decisions are based in nuts and bolts technology. As much fun as George is, I would like to see more of James in the day to day stuff. James explains why the Stang is the right choice. George just wants to go for the fun factor. His decision would have been based on the stereo. LOL
hell yea brother lol
They should have put that wheelie Fiero back together. George flipping that regularly would be a content goldmine.
You need both kind of people in life. The engineer and the artist. That's why George was such a complement to a team full of engineer brains and one giraffe.
I think the Stang deserves a spot in the fleet right now. Love the idea of another stick shift journey. The ute will end up in the fleet in the future at some point clearly.
James general decisions on direction of the channel. On pointe.
Everyone knows the Fox is my vote
You might be a little biased lol
Same here, i vote foxbody all the way.
Fox, auto, supercharge out of the hood!!!
Yup. Everyone knows my vote too.
I would love to see the foxbody with the Godzilla, a stick shift, and a turbo......it would be amazing to see you guys chase down records again like the old Leroy days.
100% agree, my vote is single turbo though, everything else has twins
Sam wants to build a fox body of his own too… this could be fun
I think as James said, Mustang need Godzilla with a stick. As far as boost goes, I think either a big single or a pro charger. Also considering “I think” that the magic crate is a Steve Morris big block, I think the Ute deserves some Mercian power to get back to its roots of a “gm” vehicle.
I thought I caught a comment in one of his last videos about mullet and it being the last time an LS goes in it. I’m wondering if that’s an SMX up there. If that’s the case I’d bet the bullet from mullet gets thrown in the Ute
Definetly 7.3 in mustang, big single turbo or big twins, manual transmission for sure!! I love the idea of makin it the old days! So awesome
My vote is definitely for the Foxbody! Foxbodys are definitely over done but not with a Godzilla. I'm really looking forward to this Godzilla engine build. I'm a chevy and LS guy but this Godzilla engine is amazing.
I also vote for a procharger and stick shift.
Prochargers are great for linear predictive power, but that scream of a blower is amazing! It's a sound that'll put goosebumps on your arms. We all know a turbo will come later when the hunt for a 7 gets real. But if you recall Van Gitten's fox body drift car that he let Cleet use, they said "all around" and the sound of a Godzilla with a blower banging gears and sliding around would be epic!

As an Aussie, I got to say I’d love to see it go in the ute, but the mustang would be the better option, hopefully one day we will see the ute do some skids 🇦🇺
If he was here in Aus, it’d be a bit frowned upon, but I agree, it’d be cool in the commy
i'm aussie
Aussie Aussie Aussie!
How can u say that as a aussie it needs a big block chev
Put a ls1 single turbo in the vz ute 👌
