Yes!!!! This is my favourite arkham game. The brutal nature of the fights and hits along with the boss fights it really showed how to do young Batman great. The investigations were a great add on by the devs. Making you feel like the greatest detective. The emotions of Bruce towards Alfred and Batman towards Gordan is a really great change from the normal relationship they all have.
The voice actor Roger Craig Smith really killed it as Batman and Bruce. The DLC also telling the story of Mr. Freezes origin was really sweet also. Though I do see how getting around the city can be a pain it never really bothered me much unless I am heading over the bridge.
The fact the dev went on to make Gotham Knights after this game is so sad. It would have been cool for them to take the Gotham from Arkham Knight and made either a new Batman game set before Knight or a future Batman game with either Nightwing taking on the cowl or Terry McGinnis taking on the cowl with Nightwing, Oracle and Robin as his Mentors.

@@nordicwarriorgaming4953the only problem with the dlc was that they took the animated series episode and made it into a dlc. With minor additions. Instead of a unique story of its own.

IMHO: This and Spider-Man: Miles Morales are the perfect Christmas games.
I tried to play through this game fairly recently and I couldn't get into it, despite some redeeming features. I agree that City was the pinnacle of the series, which I preferred by a fair margin over Asylum, which was very good in its own right. I thought the games after Origins were worse still though. You see this with a lot of series' when they run out of ideas and just rehash stuff in an inferior way. I'm very tired rn in case I am sounding like an idiot.
I agree. It seemed like Rocksteady put all their best ideas into Arkham City and everything that came after was simply made out of necessity. This game truly felt like a cash grab to me, and Arkham Knight was so bloated and repetitive like a modern day Ubisoft game. God Bless.
This game did the only job it had; it filled space or shit the bed before Arkham Knight could. It is the definition of a 5/10 and I'm baffled by how many people try to defend it. It has a few decent moments, but ultimately does nothing worthwhile. That's partially a problem with prequels and with this game in general. The characters they chose as asssassins, Joker being denied and then ultimately taking the game over, the worst version of Gotham being so bland and boring, the multiple Bane fights all drag it down.
The multiplayer is the ONLY actual underrated aspect of the game. Joker and Harley's meeting + playing that little bit as Red Hood Joker, the Deathstroke fight and a little bit of the relationship between Batman and Gordon are the only main game highlights, Cold, Cold, Heart and even the slightest look at Bruce learning to fight (the Initiation bit) were good/okay. But I wish Initiation wasn't so lazy.
This game didn't need to exist and sometimes I wish it didn't.
I agree. Its simply a game that did not need to be made. That's not to say that its bad, its just unnecessary.
the sad thing is, if they had "origins" as a major dlc for city they could've condensed it to a much better product. The Multiplayer could be one piece then bits of the campaign as another. works in smaller bits.@@nordicwarriorgaming4953
