Thank you for this! I had no idea Adobe Reader could do any of these things. I thought it was you could “look but don’t touch”! I’m very very new to Projectir sewing and it all looked so complicated so when Ditto halved the price and got ByOP I got it. I’m learning how to prep patterns for the BYOP part, and this channel is an amazing resource! I’m not sorry I got the Ditto at all but I’m learning how this all works so I can be more versatile etc

Thank you for the info - I’ve learned a few new things that I didn’t know existed on the old version! I’ll now persevere with the new version as it was annoying me that Adobe had changed things but perhaps I can now get to grips with it. X

THANK YOU! I had not used my projector in a while and when I did, I noticed Adobe had changed. I struggled through what I needed to do. Yesterday, I tried again and was SO frustrated with what Adobe was doing. I just knew there had to be a tutorial of some sort on these changes in the Projector for Sewing group on FB. I found you and this video there and I am SO excited. You showed me how to fix the exact thing I was struggling with (Ctrl L). Bless you!!!

How do I get my PDF pattern into Adobe Reader? I am using a MAC computer.

First, make sure your pattern is saved to your computer.
Then, you can find the pattern, right click and choose “open with”, choose Adobe Acrobat.
Another way is to open Adobe Acrobat, then in the top menu click the “Acrobat”, there should be an option to “open” which will open the file explore and you can find where your pattern is saved.

What version is the update? My current version is a 2023 update, but the format doesn’t look like yours. It looks like the “old” format. It updated back in the early part of 2023. Are you saying there’s a more recent update? Thank you for your great tutorials!

This is the newest update. You can check if yours is up-to-date by going to Help>Check for updates

@@projectorsewing Mine said no new updates were available, but it also hasn't updated since Feb/Mar. It sounded like your tutorial was for a brand new (July 2023) update, so that's why I'm confused. My version is 2023.003.20244. Is that the latest update?

@@kappygraney5218 This layout has been used as an “experiment” and only rolled out to a few English, 64-bit devices. So, if nothing changed, then don’t worry about learning a new layout!
If yours does change in the future, come back and watch this video!
