The only thing you'll learn at Cypress is how to tarp loads of drywall. And they're only paying $15 for you to tarp a load. If you're wanting to do regional good luck clearing $900 per week and that's after putting in your 70 hours
When did they send your flight itinerary and hotel information? I’m starting next Monday, just wanted to know early so I can prepare and get stuff organized at home
It depends on where you go. In Hueytown I didn’t share a room. When they sent me to Florida they tried to so I paid the extra to have my own room and it was 40$ extra per night.
Can u tell me a lil about orientation i was told that u have to look at about 50 videos and take a test on it and pass and if u don't pass it u don't go with a trainer but how can u pass all that if u no nothing about flatbed i would thank u would do hands on training first then watch the movies and take test on them
@@channingbeard they told you wrong for sure. So your first day you’ll get videos sent to you. There are about 50 videos and the videos basically just go over the policies we have and the rules on how to do your job. The videos are very easy and you won’t not pass them. It usually only takes a day or two to complete the videos. Your second day you will learn how to fold and unfold the tarp and your trainer will show you the tools we use to secure the load. It’s very easy. The third or fourth day you will get a call from your trainer telling you when they will pick you up and it’s nothing to worry about it’s very easy!
Did you do your drug test at the beginning of the cdl training or after

I drove there but that Friday before I think
So first step is to get your CDL permit and then go to cypress and train with them? They give you training pay? What does your driving record be like?
Correct and it has to be a decent driving record they’re not crazy strict fr
I am looking at going trucking about midway through the year, this is very informative. Do you share a room or do you get your own?
