I had couple Coca-Cola grandfather drivers cutting me badly on i80, pretty sure they know anglish, they just jealous of me driving 70mph and Coca-Cola was only 47. That was super aggressive cut.

@@adventureoflinkmk2 ABSOLUTELY the Good Old 8 ft 10 inch bridge. There's another bridge where the street been lowered, it's now12 ft 6 inches, but straight trucks still get Their roofs peeled off.
Box truck operators aren’t real truckers
My buddy is a tech at a rental truck company and they often get calls from Miami police (a few hours away) because they find a stolen truck near the port. Police said that people steal the trucks from the rental places and use them for robbing and pillaging and then dump them off near the port. He also told me once of a truck that the overnight shift had started servicing and left for the 1st shift to finish. The 1st shift mechanic added 10 quarts of oil not realizing that the night shift had already filled it. The engine ran away at full speed as it sucked oil from crankcase until they finally put a piece of wood across the air intake to choke it out after a couple of minutes. When all the smoke cleared up they drained the oil and had the dealer check it out and it was deemed perfectly fine. They make sure that things like this are completed 100% or left 100% for the next shift to prevent future incidents. This was in the 90s before they had such complex pollution controls, now it would probably mess up the DPF and other parts, or melt the engine down due to so much plastic.
I work at a travel center, at least 4 times a year somebody forgets they are driving a u-haul and get hung up on the yellow poles around the gas pump side...
I drove for 15 years and never once wore flip flops. I had respect for myself. And yes I know this will trigger someone, but I really don't care! Keep up the good work....love this channel!
Too many drivers today are paid RV'ers, no skills or respect for anything.
I hadn't wore flip flops since the 1990's and I wore them at home, Never in the truck 🚒.
I've never worn them in my life. If I'm going to the beach I'll just barefoot it. Waste my money on flip flop to stub my toes anyway.

I'm the same way. Never wore them, especially at work. These shippers and receivers need to stop checking drivers in if they are not wearing closed toe shoes. The intermodel guy with them on made me cringe big time.

Regarding the driver who stopped so far from the light: I'm not a trucker, but if I see a truck waiting to make a turn onto a narrower street, I try to stay back to give him room to maneuver! I consider it a courtesy, and I usually get a thumbs up from the driver.
The driver in your clip might have been doing his fellow trucker a favor by giving him some room! You often wonder why truckers don't help other Truckers, but here's a perfect example of that!

If the lights are like where I live the left is a flashing yellow which everyone treats like green even though it actually means yield to everyone else then go. Super hard concept to understand for some it seems
Edit so I'm thinking the car hauler had a flashing yellow left turn arrow and just went for it.

Truckers ain’t what they use to be, I’m surprised shippers even let them on their property wearing flip flops, when I was driving they wouldn’t let you on their property if you weren’t wearing work boots.
There are a few places where I’ve seen a sign that said No Flip Flops, or No Open Toe Shoes. But I don’t know if they enforce it, probably not.

Yes I used to work for Central for 7 years. They do hire rookies straight out of trucking school. A lot of them treat the equipment like bumper cars. Company is anti-union and is a revolving door. High turnover. Nobody stays.

I worked for Central Transport for a very, very short period of time. I rode out from Aurora Illinois to Hammond Indiana and I had to work the dock to unload my truck with a forklift in 10 below 0 weather. The middle finger for Central Transport. I love your videos , well at least the videos that you receive.😊
i never understood the jakebrake law until now, i live in the country, and some KW came by popping off his jakebrake and it really pissed me off. i live on a 2 lane where if three cars go by in an hours it's exciting.

I’ve been a breakdown agent for over 25 years. I’ve NEVER seen it so bad, there are no real truck drivers left, I’m hoping for the sake of safety for all of us automated trucks will come sooner than later, the roads are unsafe for all of us with the current steering wheel holders on the road, just wouldn’t believe the calls I get

Some of those drivers are so large they can't possibly lace up a pair of shoes/boots. They'd have to stop breathing.

Central will take you with 3-6 months. They are the absolute WORST! You have to load/unload your truck everyday and they don't even have direct deposit? You get a paper check!
