It feels like every time he does something remotely good or decently, he immediately follows it up by failing another 20 times at something really simple. It's hilarious, and that's what I'm here for
man, i really hate flukemarm, i didn't beat him and then upgraded my howling wraith and beat him later in the game because he is so annoying
@@Sam-jx8eq I hate flukemarm too, despite how easy it is. I always take so much unnecessary damage and died an embarrassingly large amount of times to it on my first playthrough lol
I beat it first try its kinda easy but okay lol
@@moltengears7483 Because you probably found it later on, when your nail was already strong enough to one shot its summons. Try to go to it in the new game without upgrading your nail and see how "easy" it will be for you.
I feel for anyone unfortunate enough to encounter Flukemarm while not being able to kill her babies in 1 hit.....
Especially without at least Howling Wraiths.

That's my energy with this game all the time. Especially given I took 3 days to beat mantis lords while having the time of my life!
Bosses like Grimm and Vessel are 100% like that for me.
I feel like that with the mantis lords specifically because they just schmoove
some bosses like mantis lord took me 3 tries and I felt like I was so bad at the game untill I realized thats actually pretty good
Hornet 2 was the only one that took me several days and to this day I still struggle. But nkg within 5 tries is no problem 😞
I like how he says "I want a yes or no answer" and then he asks a question that requires more than yes or no

i don't understand how you spend so much time looking around and trying to explore but then manage to actually never explore anything ?? like you have some good reflexes and intuitions and sometimes you just don't have them anymore ???? but i'm glad that you're enjoying this game anyway ^^

What? That's not possible? I mean, the VOD might be old, but if he beat the game, he barely knows about the charms, he doesn't use cyclone slash, misses shortcuts and dies to stupid enemies. Either of Desolate Dive or Cyclone Slash can take care of those Flukes easily. And he has both.
His acting is top-notch if that really is the case.

Literally as I was watching this vod I realized that a new hollowknight vod was uploaded.
Rancid eggs will be your best friend in the beginning. I also unlocked the door all the way to the right in Dirtmouth early on. Lemme jus say I was able to put two an two together once I learned that right after selling all of my relics and loosing about 10k in geo. Still made I didn’t figure it out till after that.

I kind of hate how everyone who comes across flukemarm before 2nd nail upgrade just forgets that this game is a metroidvania, and gets annoyed because the boss is basically impossible at that point.
It's been 3 Days straight and I'm still not finished with all your hollow knight videos
I don't understand how utterly oblivious of his surroundings he can be... That coupled with short attention span can make for huge time losses and parts of the game getting skipped even though we could clearly see what was in front of him. Besides these countless occurrings the stream is fun

Nah but for real it seems like he's running into a ton of glitches, which is really funny considering I literally never saw one glitch in my main playthrough. I would say it seems like a Switch version problem, but that particular one looks like it was probably caused due to him jumping straight out of the water and into the loading zone. Never touched the ground, so he never went back to walking.
@@Rowantale I never ran into any bugs or glitches from what I could tell on Switch lol. Fun to see other people run into them and see what happens

It says a lot about the possibilities of this game that during my first playthrough I arrived at this spike segment before I had Mantis Claw, which means I had to nail-pogo my way to the other side (I'm honestly not sure I was supposed to do that).
This game's tendency to give opportunity to sequence-break is reminiscent of the old Metroid games and it is a good thing.
